    If we dealt with inequality in America less people would feel disenfranchised and disaffected. Perhaps then they would want to stay here instead of joining terrorist groups abroad to fight what they think is the cause of their angst. As long as we put people down and make them suffer needlessly while others live in opulence this will be a problem.

        We already HAVE “wealth redistribution”, where the tiniest fraction of the “one-percent” are sucking trillions of dollars out of the economy and stashing it in secret bank accounts.

        These fatcats profit from a distorted capitalist system that overwhelmingly benefits the wealthy few to the detriment of the hard-working middle class. It’s a system with built-in “wealth distribution” mechanisms that creates inequalities that Kings, Sultans, Pashas, and Emperors never achieved.

        The first thing to do is tax capital gains at the same rate that we tax other forms of income. Income is income. It’s obscene that a fatcat pays only a fraction of the taxes on the wealth he accumulates simply by investing in Wall Street, compared to the pitiful gains that ordinary folks get from the sweat of their brow.

        You right-wing lumpen don’t like class warfare? Well, class warfare is upon you whether you like it or not, and the greedy corporate gangsters are winning. What you have to decide is whether you’re going to stop being a traitor to yourself, your family, your neighbors and co-workers, or continue to support the industrial-scale theft by the plutocrats.

            You all are quick to talk about those who succeed and have money are evil, you always talk about raising taxes, because taxes gets you all sexually excited. You pretend to be able to speak for everyone by deciding how much money is enough for all. What you will end up doing is punish success and reward failure..

      they are only terrorists from the folks who are afraid of them – they are supporters of their rights and beliefs as they see their actions – much like people being terrified of usa drones – when the us is not out to control the lives and resources of others, maybe something will change.

        ISIS is led, I believe, by the supporters of Saddam who were completely disenfranchised when the US ‘liberated’ their nation of Iraq? Not likely they’ll be interested in sitting down and being told what will be taken away from them again by the 3 trillion plus dollar Islamic Republic Government we built in Iraq.

    Women have been used as suicide bombers in the past. Before I retired from DHS we viewed several videos of women blowing up security locations. I believe 2 women were responsible for blowing up Russian air liners as well as a train station.

      I believe the Russian girls were protesting having to live in Russia with Sara being their backyard neighbor? -or something like that, I know it had to do with Sara saying we should bomb Russia if we didn’t like them.

    The St. Paul woman is the first case of an area female joining IS that
    has been made public although her family have asked for her name to be
    kept private because it fears retaliation from Islamists.

    Actually most of these folks here are peaceful people who love this country. But they not only fear retaliation from Islamic radicals from abroad, they also face the home grown radicals of the far right who would demonize them through blanket generalization (hate and bigotry). I just hope the teabaggers and open carry nuts do not start doing their thing in the Muslim neighborhoods.

        Hopefully Muslim Radicals will embrace their God Given 2nd amendment rites and become heavily armed unregulated militias also. Usually the more you are with the bigger and badder weapons, the more peaceful the situation becomes.

    Two things to consider…
    1. if one uses the ‘publicly used’ figure of 10% radical in the religion of islam, and the 2.6 mil muslims in this country, we should have around 260,000 radicals in this country… my view is cut this in half right off the bat cause of Americans that practice islam are not as fundamental in their teachings on a whole, but that still leaves 130,000 radicals. One quarter (intel uses that number) of radical population is female. That leaves about 32,500 potential radical females in this country.
    More will be coming out, guarantee it.

    2. Until all acts of terrorism are treated as such(Ft Hood, Brendan Tevlin’s death-and 3 others by Ali Muhammad Brown and several others), some will see the risk & punishment as acceptable to going further radical.
