bristol_palin[su_right_ad]Since initial reports of a “dogpile” brawl involving members of former Alaska governor Sarah Palin’s family emerged last week via Amanda Coyne, nobody has been fleshing out the details of the incident like TPM‘s tireless Josh Marshall.

And he has spoken to yet another witness who is saying that Bristol Palin went medieval with her fists:

Roberta Thompson spoke to TPM by phone from her home in Alaska. Until now, her husband, Eric Thompson, has been one of only two people to go on the record about what took place at the Sept. 6 house party in Anchorage. (Eric Thompson has said he was later fired from his job for speaking to the media.)

The melees at that night’s party have led to an ongoing police investigation and reports that Sarah Palin’s husband and son were injured while tussling with other party guests before the family was kicked out of the house.

“It was just so shocking,” Roberta Thompson told TPM.

She mostly confirmed what her husband told multiple news outlets last week, saying that the two of them were right next to each other during the incident. But she provided her own take on how the events unfolded, including a portion that she said involved the eldest Palin daughter, Bristol Palin, and the owner of the house, Korey Klingenmeyer.

“What I saw was two girls run past and run towards Korey,” Roberta Thompson said. “And then I just saw Bristol Palin start punching him in the face.”

“It was quite, quite violent,” she added.

She said Klingenmeyer was clearly upset about what was happening but maintained his composure.

“She kept punching him and then he just said, you know, ‘You need to go,'” Thompson said.

Where does Bristol get the idea that it is acceptable to commit what looks like criminal assault? Did her reality-show-celebrity mom intercede at all? Well, Scott Conroy says yes — she was cheering on her rioting offspring:

[su_r_sky_ad]So was Lee Harvey Oswald, come to think of it.

But I digress.

While Josh Marshall snarked late last week about a “White Culture of Lawlessness, Violence”…

“It’s something to hear when Sarah screams, ‘Don’t you know who I am!’ And it was particularly wonderful when someone in the crowd screamed back, ‘This isn’t some damned Hillbilly reality show!'”

… he was in fact on point. The entire Palin brood stands revealed as steeped in a culture of assault-friendly permissiveness pervasive among white Americans who reject reason, tolerance, and empathy in favor of promoting themselves as vicious animals, supporting torture as government policy and free access to weapons of war in our streets, and flaunting stretch Hummers as a symbol of status and power.

Bristol is just taking after, and adopting the violent values of, her lily-white mom.

‘Nuff said.

    Family values FTW!:

I grew up in an all-Conservative family. I can’t imagine my mother piling into a fight, or my siblings cold-cocking someone in the face repeatedly.

        • Suzanne McFly September 17th, 2014 at 11:29 am

Conservatism has not always demanded stupidity from their constituents, this is a new thing. Your parents obviously did a great job and I bet they didn’t deny science.

        • dave-dr-gonzo September 17th, 2014 at 11:30 am

Your folks got it right. Something is seriously wrong with those people.

          • mea_mark September 17th, 2014 at 11:37 am

Just imagine what things could be like if Palin had somehow become president. It wouldn’t be punches flying, it would probably be nukes.

lol Your imagination is something else. This is FAR from bad if you compare it to past events from history involving America’s well known families.

How do you like your job as a Palin-flack? Does it pay well?

          • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 2:05 pm

How am I different from any other person commenting? Because you don’t agree? How close-minded of you. So sorry that I have the ability to put things in perspective, and not hate just to hate.

Well if you can’t tell the difference from reading the other comments, I’m not sure I can help you.

CarpeDiem47 is a real Palin fanatic she/he spends most of the time at http://conservatives4palin.com/ It looks like they leave every now and then to go out and defend Palin. A true defender of Palin troll.

          • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 2:21 pm

I’m not a Palin fanatic. I just don’t allow myself to think to strictly about something that it prevents me from being compassionate. I also point out things people either ignore or forget, out of hate.

          • juicyfruityyy September 17th, 2014 at 3:59 pm

The problem is: we have not forgotten anything that that family has said or done. There are too many you-tubes, articles, screen-shots, books, and etc. They have gotten away with too much. It is time that they are held accountable for their actions.

          • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 4:03 pm

            lol
Actually, the only other verbal fight Bristol got into was in LA, when a 50 yr old man screamed at her for no reason. She calmly asked him specific questions to explain his actions. He didn’t react calmly. That didn’t end physically. She was hurt by it, as anyone would be.

The teacher incident ended well, with everyone laughing. And didn’t involve huge outbursts.

None of it erases the fact that there are lies in books written about them, penned by very slanted democrats.

          • KarenJ September 17th, 2014 at 7:54 pm

That scene with the 50 year old man you describe was a filmed set-up for her reality show. He was one of the actors in that little “drama”. Hurt, my foot. Even her post-event “spontaneous reaction” was part of the show.

As a matter of fact, Frank Bailey isn’t a Democrat, so you’re wrong there. Sure, he was assisted in the production of his book by a (shocker!) Democrat and one other person, but the book was Bailey’s.

          • Pat September 17th, 2014 at 4:33 pm

You are just flat out lying now (like Palinbots do) and you are busted!! You’re like Peter who denied christ in your bible denying that you’re not a fanatical Palin follower. Anyone can google your nick and see that you belong to c4p and usa4p and how you defend her so.

          • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 6:30 pm

I don’t necessarily defend anyone. I point out things people can’t or won’t see. Katie above is basically stating something is true because the internet says it is. That is irresponsible. I know a person’s beliefs don’t change another’s life, but if you’re all willing to believe stupid stuff that doesn’t affect you, then that must mean you’re susceptible to believing huge lies that actually affect the WORLD and COuNTRY>

          • KarenJ September 17th, 2014 at 7:50 pm

Oh, sure. Isn’t it you who keeps bringing President Obama into every one of these Sarah Palin topics NO MATTER WHICH BLOG IT’S ON, as if there’s some kind of equivalency?

There isn’t. There’s a yawning abyss between the Obama family and the Palin family.

          • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 12:54 pm

After years of media abuse and lies, one incident shows restraint. The media has to blow it up to something when it’s nothing because reporters’ livelihoods depends on drama.

          • Pat September 17th, 2014 at 2:54 pm

Speaking of restraint, it’s a good thing that the host of the party that Bristol was wailing on was a gentleman, otherwise her plastic chin could have gone flying and hurt someone else.

          • Beth Holbrook Stafford September 17th, 2014 at 7:21 pm

            Good one Pat!

          • juicyfruityyy September 17th, 2014 at 3:54 pm

You actually think this is the first time? This is the first time someone actually had enough of them and spoke out!!

          • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 3:57 pm

lol I guarantee the media would have caught wind in the past, a time when they pursued part of life as a public figure.

But people are SO quick to judge based on one incident and forget positives. ALL her grown kids have jobs. Many cannot say the same.

But this pointless. You will never see them in an objective light in the big picture. You will continue to only see the few overhyped stories and make your outside assumptions without thinking how they’ve been affected by all the hate and lies about their loved ones.

          • KarenJ September 17th, 2014 at 7:56 pm

Yeah, we know about the time Todd and Todd’s cousin physically abused the teacher from Homer, Kathleen Gustafson, by nudging her and jostling her while she was talking to Sarah, and Bristol shook her finger in the woman’s face.

          • Ardiva September 17th, 2014 at 6:20 pm

Media blew it up??? ROFLMAO!!! They didn’t have to do a thing except tell it like it is.

It’s been debated amongst my circle of friends that it is because of a multi-faceted persecution complex that “the culture of white violence” is so persuasive. It combines, among other factors, the notions of 1. not to be perceived as whimpy, push overs or sissies – a direct response to the “street smart mentality” found with your gangs, street or organized, 2. losing their status as a majority within society at large, – a perceived threat to their “social and political power,” 3. their Christianity beliefs being attacked from all side – “that gay agenda, that abortion/contraception debacle, and that Muslim agenda, etc.,” 4. that race card that says only Whites can be racist due to the political power structure that is in place – “Hey, I’m not a racist, but that Black dude in the White House is taking away my freedoms.” They are essentially, in their mind, only “defending themselves,” their heritage, their life style, their beliefs. Can’t let people get away with offending you without payback. Wasn’t that at the core of the Mafia? Isn’t that at the core of modern day gangs? Where’s the respect man? Problem of course is that respect is earned, not given just because it is demanded. I don’t know, but I for one abhor all violence, color need not be attached. To me it is an indicator the person has no self-esteem and has chosen to be a jack-ass, to put it mildly. Hard to earn respect that way.

    • Freebird4 September 17th, 2014 at 1:06 pm

      Great comment.

    • juicyfruityyy September 17th, 2014 at 4:08 pm

Hard to earn respect that way

The Palins are grifters. They do not except to EARN anything. They feel entitled to it. They believe they own the State and everyone there. They make all the rules and everyone needs to follow or you might not have a job, for example.

      • Pat September 17th, 2014 at 4:20 pm

Well, why do you think they gave all their unqualified friends high paying govn’t jobs and spread the wealth to every citizen? Not to mention Todd’s prostitution ring servicing the police department!

        • juicyfruityyy September 17th, 2014 at 4:41 pm

That would be called cronyism. The Queen denies EVER doing that.

  5. CR46 September 17th, 2014 at 1:13 pm

The Palins are nothing but a family of thugs. If they didn’t have $$$$ at least 3 of them would still be in jail.

    • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 1:25 pm

You do yourself no favors with these lies.

      • dave-dr-gonzo September 17th, 2014 at 3:45 pm

And you do yourself no favors by trolling, and poorly at that. I don’t see you calling out Bristol for her lies while making unprovable claims about the honesty of Levi Johnston’s book. I don’t see you calling out Rush Limbaugh for using a ghostwriter (in the oxycontin addict’s case, John Fund) as you claim Levi Johnston did.

        • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 3:55 pm

I denied nothing about anyone. I pointed out that, while yes, they may have lied, they are FAR from the other ones.

This conversation is pointless, especially since it involves 2 parents who no longer have problems, and are over their past battling and media-inciting drama.

The only point I was making is that there are lies named about the Palins.

          • KatieAnnieOakley September 17th, 2014 at 3:55 pm

In other words, they’re the victims again. Those poor babies.

          • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 3:59 pm

I didn’t say that. I don’t condone that behavior. But media attention and obsessiveness IS a form of punishment.

          • Pat September 17th, 2014 at 4:57 pm

Hey, the Palins are the ones that wanted to be tee vee celebrities and get the media attention. They are obsessed with the media so therefore have created their own punishment. In fact their drunken family brawl attracted attention from around the world.

  6. Freebird4 September 17th, 2014 at 1:23 pm

    A friend:

    “Fond Memories of Bristol Palin:

    1. Bristol on DWTS: “Going out there and winning this would mean a lot. It would be like a big middle finger to all the people out there who hate my mom and hate me.”
    2. Bristol filming her reality show in a bar yelling homophobic slurs at some guy
    3. Bristol teaching Tripp to stick his tongue out at photographers
    4. Bristol making insulting remarks about Levi in front of Tripps
    5. Bristol did not tell the truth in the trial of David Kernell, claiming that she was all alone in the deep, dark woods of Alaska without a phone, while Secret Service was protecting her and there was a land line in the Palin house. The threats that Bristol claimed to have received were messages left on her cell phone which she heard 12 hours after the fact.

    6. I’m sorry that Bristol had a child (children) when she was an unwed teen, that her mother used her as “proof” that Sarah had given birth to Trig (it didin’t), and that Bristol lost her childhood because she had to raise a child. Her mother has used her to promote “family values,” abstinence and anything else that Sarah wants to promote, for which Bristol is well paid. (Wikipedia: In September 2009, Palin formed BSMP, a lobbying, public relations and political consulting services firm.[30] While the initial focus was to be working with Candie’s Foundation, BSMP planned to work with additional clients). It’s time for Bristol to grow up and assume some responsibility for her own life and her actions.

Add shooting Levi’s book (with his face on the cover) in front of Tripp on her reality show. That was violent and so damaging to Tripp.

    • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 1:24 pm

Still blocking out her ex’s highly fictional book that he clearly had no hand in writing are we? You can spin anything to make it sound negative. Doesn’t erase lies and attacks on her.

      • juicyfruityyy September 17th, 2014 at 3:37 pm

Well, if we want to go back to book of lies. I recall that, the Little Princess, accused Levi, of raping her. She had to recant that lie.

        • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 6:26 pm

No she didn’t. And some of “Levi’s” malicious accusations and statements are just as bad as that. But they don’t matter because books don’t matter, nor do they change a person’s REAL story.

Btw, did ya like the part where “Levi” said women who stop breastfeeding because of pain are weak? Ironic considering his wife couldnt breastfeed long because she was in tears everyday.

STOP LIVING IN THE PAST that you don’t understand. That is mental. Everyone is happy. Be happy for them

          • KarenJ September 17th, 2014 at 8:22 pm

What’s this if it’s not an accusation of rape? The word wasn’t used, just heavily hinted at:

Bristol awakens in her tent, with no recollection of the night before. She looks over and sees Levi’s empty sleeping bag right beside hers, and hears Levi and his friends “outside the tent laughing.” (Pg. 3) Bristol quickly texts her friend to get over to the tent, and she immediately pops over and tells her, “You definitely had sex with Levi.” (Pg. 4)

“What I don’t remember is what transpired between the moment when I was sitting there by the fire talking and the moment I awakened the next morning. Suddenly, I wondered why it was called ‘losing your virginity,’ because it felt more like it had been stolen. All of my plans, my promises, and my moral standards had disappeared in one awful night in a series of bad decisions.”

          • ibwilliamsi September 17th, 2014 at 9:07 pm

How do you know so much about this situation? You seem to have insider knowledge about Levi’s wife’s nipples, and that’s pretty creepy for someone who “isn’t defending anyone”.

          • Meridian Terrace September 18th, 2014 at 12:14 am

Tell your sister Sarah to stop living in the past and stop stalking Barack & Michelle AND their daughters through Bristol’s fake blog. Sarah is the one who can’t get past 2008. Bristol was already planning on how nice her tent would look on the white house lawn. Too bad.

And by the way, pretending that you have intimate knowledge of Sunny Johnston’s breasts makes you a nasty creep.

          • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 3:52 pm

You may want to actually find real truth for your defense. She’s had a boyfriend for years now. SMH at you.

          • Pat September 17th, 2014 at 4:09 pm

Which boyfriend are you talking about Uncle Chuck Palin? You mean the one on Bristol’s failed reality tee vee show that she kicked out of her car, left him on the side of the road & told Tripp something like, “Don’t worry I’ll find you another Daddy”? The one she was teaching Tripp to call “daddy” and was having a “trial marriage” with? That one? Oh that ones name was Gino. Then there was Joey Junker who recently dumped her. Who is the new “daddy” and trial husband today?

          • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 6:24 pm

She’s been with her current boyfriend for almost two years. And tripp called Gino “Gino.”

That was YEARS ago. Everyone on either side is happy now.

You need to get a life

          • ibwilliamsi September 17th, 2014 at 9:11 pm

          • Pat September 17th, 2014 at 11:13 pm

Oh, so now YOU are her new boyfriend? Creepy. Does this run in the family?

          • Meridian Terrace September 18th, 2014 at 12:18 am

Perhaps YOU need to get a life pretending you have inside knowledge about Sunny Johnston’s body and who Bristol sleeps with. CREEP

          • M_Baker September 18th, 2014 at 6:09 pm

“Don’t worry I’ll find you another Daddy”

That’s news to me that Bristol would make such a stupid comment to her son like that. It’s just creepy and runs chills up my back just thinking that someone would be that ignorant to tell their child something like that. It also says a lot of what she must have been telling her son before she told him that.

This, along with many other things we have learned about her parenting skills just goes to show how she was raised by Sarah and Toad, and the things she took away from how she was parented to use in her own parenting of her son. Is there now any question why Sarah’s children have turned out the way they are now as young adults, or what they’ll be like later on. Bristols immaturity and not knowing how to properly raise children will permanently damage Tripp unless the court allows Levy and Sunny to have more parenting time with Tripp than what Levi has currently. I’m not saying Levy is the most mature person around, but with Sunny they might at least be able to offset some of the negative behavior Tripp has learned from his mother.

          • ibwilliamsi September 17th, 2014 at 9:10 pm

Who is Bristol’s chaste boyfriend in Alaska?

          • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 1:32 pm

A book of lies, yes. Because it’s worthless and pure liberal propaganda. Even some democrats have noted there are many strange lies throughout.

No one is ignoring your lame attempts to lie on Bristol’s and the rest of the Palins’ behalf.

          • M_Baker September 17th, 2014 at 10:33 pm

Most of what you wrote has been inaccurate along with a lot of lies. You have yet to provide anything to back up your comments and lies, and wrote nothing to counter any of those you tried to counter. You’re just another under educated Palinbot with your head buried in the sand so you don’t have to face the truth and reality about Palin. there is a good reason why SarahPAC is losing donation which is also a good indication of her losing her supporters.

          • brbr2424 September 17th, 2014 at 4:20 pm

I don’t think Levi is liberal. The book was his story. Bristol described how he raped her, in her book and then tried to back off from the rape allegation on talk shows.

          • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 6:22 pm

He didn’t write it. He obviously gave them a few hunting stories. Even the diehard anti palin folk were pissed there were so many lies.

But none of that matters since their media-driven dramas are behind them. No one can tell their story but each of them. They both are working normally now and living as non-public figures.

          • Pat September 17th, 2014 at 6:24 pm

          • ibwilliamsi September 17th, 2014 at 9:15 pm

brbr2424 didn’t say that Levi wrote his book. She said it was “his story”. You’re really bad at debate.

          • M_Baker September 17th, 2014 at 10:27 pm

Bristol and Sarah also didn’t write her books, so whats your point? I also don’t remember many people being pissed off about Levi’s book. Please provide a link to back up your comment that diehard anti-Palin folks were pissed about Levi’s book, if you can.

So far you have tossed the word liar around very freely, but it appears your the one who’s lying.

          • ibwilliamsi September 17th, 2014 at 9:13 pm

You know who else burned books?

          • M_Baker September 17th, 2014 at 10:21 pm

Are you also saying Bristol’s book wasn’t full of lies, such as her statement in the book that Levy rapped her, which when confronted with it she quickly retracted that she was raped. I would trust what Levi wrote in his book far more than what Bristol wrote.

By the way, what lies did Levy actually write in his book. Since I highly doubt you even read the book I very seriously doubt you can give us any of his lies without you yourself making up a lie. If you do respond with his lies, please include the page number so itcan be verified.

“Bristol is just taking after, and adopting the violent values of, her lily-white mom.” Exactly! And add a good amount of alcohol to all those Family Values, and that destroys any common sense that she may have.

    • juicyfruityyy September 17th, 2014 at 3:51 pm

The Little Princess, is a younger version of the Queen. She isn’t adopting. It is in her genes.

Then this sort of thing would happen regularly. smh It doesn’t,obviously

        • M_Baker September 17th, 2014 at 10:10 pm

What about her telling her son about the men who stayed over are test daddy’s, or something like that. Is that also part of what the Palin’s refer as “family values? It doesn’t sound as if Sarah taught them much about morals or was a good example. It’s amazing, three generations of Palin women getting pregnant before marriage.

“What stops me from hitting people in the face every day? Fear of going to jail, fear of losing custody of my kid, fear of having to pay huge fines.

Bristol has NONE of those fears because she KNOWS mommy will NEVER let those things happen to her. Mommy has to protect Bristol, or Bristol will reveal she birthed Trig…”.

Funny, they don’t act like it, or they’d actually pursue things in LA and not happily work non-hollywood jobs.

          • KarenJ September 17th, 2014 at 9:33 pm

I think they got ran out of Hollywood. People remember that “locusts” attack by the 25-person Palin entourage, scooping up everything in sight at that pre-Oscar gift suite in March 2010. One of the two owners of the shop that hosted the Oscar gift suite was a Palin fan, who attempted afterwards to make excuses for the Palin melee.

            http://www.thedailybeast.com/cheats/2010/03/04/palin-amp-co-raid-oscars-gift-suite.html

          • Pat September 17th, 2014 at 11:19 pm

Oh please. Like they didn’t go to Hollywood and never tried. People crossed the street when they saw Bristle & Wallow coming. They got chewed up & spit out. They failed at everything Hollywood and you know it.

    • juicyfruityyy September 17th, 2014 at 3:49 pm

Leadfoot_LA is right. They could have shot the place up and nothing would have happened. They would have been allowed to stagger back in their Hummer and blow the top of the guns. To them, it is their privilege and right. We would have been tried and convicted.

      • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 3:50 pm

Actually, one reason that’s media related I think that would spur Bristol to this point is people spreading lies like Katie just wrote. Just think before YOU as an outsider write things about people you don’t know.

        • Pat September 17th, 2014 at 4:17 pm

Hey chuckie, aren’t you getting behind in your postage stamp licking for Sarah’s VanityPAC? Perhaps another best seller to write?

And you call “palin trolls” immature.

        • M_Baker September 17th, 2014 at 9:55 pm

If you’re going to call someone a liar, then state why it is a lie. You again provided nothing but another empty comment void of any substance or common sense which is all you’ve provided so far in all of your comments.

In fact, Bristol had a hearing the next day in front of a judge to decide on the custody of Tripp. To do what she did the day before her hearing just demonstrates her total lack of intelligence and common sense. Truthfully, it also says a lot about her IQ which only reinforces what people have said about her being slow mentally. You have to ask your self who in their right mind would be so stupid to do what she did with so much on the line.

  10. CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 3:28 pm

The ironic thing is, about 3 years ago, there was a huge fight in Palmer involving 2 girls, where one basically beat the shit out of the other, with her just taking it. About 50 people just stood around gawking and laughing. A few people who weren’t there, including Sarah’s daughter, voiced disgust at how bystanders could just let people fight and do nothing to stop it. I remember it because I was proud of Willow (and the others obviously). This is why I truly think it’s all the stupid media attacks in the past that propelled this incident to what is became. Pre-08, even pre-2013, this wouldn’t have happened. Everyone has a right to celebrate a special occasion with family and friends and no one begrudges celebratory drinks. But no one outside of mindreaders, who don’t exist, really knows just what these people were feeling then, have felt about being attacked in the past, and related things.

In situations that involve famous people, the media attention IS the punishment. There are thousands of cases. This isn’t Beiber or Shia LaBoeuf, who clearly have some big problems. This is one, overblown stupid incident that taking attention away from big problems.

    • Pat September 17th, 2014 at 4:05 pm

When the Palins were told to leave the party I wonder what Tripp was thinking when his Grandpa with a bloody nose, his uncle with his shirt off, his Granny screeching and his mother with sore fists piled in the Hummer limo all drunk & hyped up from the family brawl. I really feel sorry for that 5 yr. old and the scars he will grow up with. Must have been scary for him.

        • M_Baker September 17th, 2014 at 9:38 pm

You must be one of the commenters from Conservatives4Palin, who just like you, is desperately trying to defend Palin without much success. After all, what is there to defend her with that makes sense and is logical. Your attempt to defend her with one word “propaganda” is just another illogical attempt that makes very little sense.

    • M_Baker September 17th, 2014 at 5:15 pm

“This isn’t Beiber or Shia LaBoeuf, who clearly have some big problems. ”

Sarah Palin and her family also clearly have some big problems. Sarah’s history of lies, vindictive, inaccurate, and outrageous comments is clear evidence of someone who is narcissistic and vengeful. The fact that she also grifts from the undereducated evangelicals is just another example of her dishonesty. That fact can be seen by looking at her SarahPAC filings with the FEC, and less than 5% of the donations to SarahPAC actually go to candidates. The rest of the 95% goes to supporting Palin, and much of that is suspect as to how much of that simply goes into her pocket.

Palin herself gives the media plenty of material for their use, including this brawl, which gives them a lot of material for the entertainment of the majority of Americans who sees her as a laughing stock. Also, a whole book was written and released in 2010 that included nothing but her lies titled, “The Lies of Sarah Palin”. How much respect would anybody get if they had such a high reputation for telling lies? It appears that every time she speaks she almost always says something negative about Obama, but she also never offers any kind of alternative solution. She refuses to do interviews outside of FOX, and even at FOX they give her softball questions or never ask questions about her answers she gives to the questions they ask. On Hannity, it often looks as if he’s leading her on to help her find the correct answers. Even FOX is now using her far less than they use to, which was her main media outlet to get her message out to her followers. Since FOX is now giving her far less time, you almost have to ask yourself if that’s not the reason she started her own subscription web broadcast channel so she can continue to keep her name in the news.

      • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 6:17 pm

She talks about politics. She asserts opinions, which people can either agree or disagree with.

And no one can write a legitimate book about another person.

All politicians are, in essence, liars to a degree. There is no such thing as a wholly honest person.

People are still blowing one thing out of proportion.

        • M_Baker September 17th, 2014 at 8:20 pm

Someone absolutely can write a book documenting another persons lies. It’s like what she said in NY after the Alaskan Congressional investigation made up of 2/3 of Republicans found that Palin in fact had misused her office. Immediately after their findings of guilt was announced, Palin told reporters they found her innocent.

As for her opinions are concerned, she never backs any of them with facts and most of them are just her negative opinions of Obama making her look vindictive for losing the election. She also gives many of her opinions after the fact and not before it has happened. Most of her comments about Obama are done the same way, after the fact.

I don’t know exactly what you’re referring to when you wrote, “People are still blowing one thing out of proportion”. Are you referring to the brawl the Palin’s were involved in? If so, I don’t agree with you. People want to have a true picture of the person they supporting and not the image they want you to believe. The brawl says a lot about the Palin’s and the type of people they are. Most families are sophisticated enough they would never condone behavior such as this. And what’s worse is that it appears, according to the eye witnesses accounts, that the Palin’s was the aggressors to what had been a peaceful party until they arrived. The use of violence like this can also point out many other problems that may exist in the Palin household. Siblings don’t generally behave this way in front of their parents, unless the parents have taught their children such behavior is acceptable. It can also say something about how the parents treat each other in their relationship. Nonetheless, it all comes down parenting.

    • KarenJ September 17th, 2014 at 9:39 pm

Another tall tale invented by either a Palin or one of you Palin defenders, no doubt. Was dear Sarah’s daughter quoted by a reliable source (not Sarah)?

My first time here. I am a firm believer in karma (just hope it happens when I can see it…and maybe it is!!) and I love me some schadenfreude -especially when it concerns that bag of bile I have loathed since ’08. I’ve read all the posts and I must say that I find CarpeDiem very tedious. Bless his heart (I’m from Georgia-we say that about the pitiful ones). I donated to the Gofundme for Eric Thompson. I suggest we all put our money where our mouthis and think of every dollar given as a big ol’ finger to that odious woman! Check out the Immoral Minority blog-he is an Alaskan that has been all over Palin since the very beginning.Peace!

    • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 7:37 pm

Respectfully, it’s a shame you’re also gullible and close-minded. Not that the opinions of anyone here matter. But if more people realized this before shooting their mouths off on the net, the net MIGHT be a better place. Lying about people because you irrationally dislike them says more about you. I speak sense, not from emotion.

      • Beth Holbrook Stafford September 17th, 2014 at 7:41 pm

Oh sweetpea-I do realize that no one’s opinion matters! WE all just like to vent and see our words and we feel better. What is important are FACTS! You are entitled to your own opinion-as am I-but we are NOT entitled to our own facts. Truth is truth. I stated nothing but my, long held, opinion.

        • CarpeDiem47 September 17th, 2014 at 7:47 pm

No direct allegations I make are less than the truth.

And any time I disagree with someone, it’s to point out how wrong it is to assert that something is true with no firsthand knowledge as I did with Katie specifically. Tell enough lies and hold enough false opinions of people, it’s bound to affect that “victim” emotionally. Though speaking of Bristol, for example, I’ve never actually seen her get upset over lies told about herself. I’ve seen her get upset when people trash and lie about her mom in humor. There is a difference between politically disagreeing and trashing, something MANY need to learn. But thank for commenting. I enjoy civil conversations that don’t go in circles because people don’t want to listen. 🙂

          Have a good evening.

Is “mamma grizz” too self-absorbed to be capable of recognizing that what’s going on with her precious litter requires a little parental investigatory responsibility?

Why has there been no video? You would have thought that someone would have recorded the event.

I wonder if anyone ever explained to Miss Bristol that “you can never get back your good reputation once you lose it”. Probably not…

      • Pat September 18th, 2014 at 2:17 pm

Todd just had his 50th Brawlday. I would think that’s too old to be hanging at Young Conservatives?

    • mea_mark September 18th, 2014 at 2:12 pm

Then go back to Young Conservatives then.

My favorite comment “this looked like an episode of the Jerry Springer Show.”

Studies have shown that children disciplined this way are more prone to violent behavior and for Bristol to act out in this behavior tells me she had to see this from her mother and fathers behavior ,,,, children tend to be at more risk to act out exactly what they see their parents do,, and this is a known fact….

  24. SK Turner October 5th, 2014 at 8:21 am

I have no interest in addressing the Palin behavior. What I am addressing is the title. “Culture of White Violence?” Really? Get off of your liberal backsides and look at the statistics….look at where America’s violence is seeded. White violence indeed. Morons.

    • OldLefty October 5th, 2014 at 8:38 am

I suggest YOU get off of your CONSERVATIVE backsides and look at the statistics, which are the same as those for more minorities everywhere in the world.

      Along with the profit motive;

      Racial Inequalities in our
      criminal justice system

      Although
Black Americans make up only 12.7% of the U.S. population, they make up 48.2%
of adults in federal, state, or local prisons and jails. According to the 1998
federal National Household Survey on Drug Abuse (NHSDA), 72% of users were
      White and 15% were Blacks.

      Latinos
represent just 11.1% of the U.S. population and only 10% of U.S. drug users,
yet are 18.6% of the U.S. prison population and 22.5% of those convicted for
      drug offenses.

      On
average, 1 in 25 adult American Indians is under the jurisdiction of the
nation’s criminal justice system – more than twice the number of White adults
      in the system.

      42.5%
of prisoners on Death Row are Black, more than three times the percentage of
Black Americans in the national population.

      In
2003, in the United States, White people were imprisoned at a rate of 376 per
every 100,000 in the population, compared to 709 per 100,000 American Indians,
997 per 100,000 Latinos and 2,526 per 100,000 Blacks in the population.

      Black
      males have a 32% chance of serving time in prison at some point in their lives;
Hispanic males have a 17% chance; White males have a 6% chance. If
current rates of incarceration continue, about 1 in 3 Black males, 1 in 6
Hispanic males and 1 in 17 White males are expected to go to prison at some
      point during their lives.

Black youth are more likely to be detained than White
youth. Moreover, Black youth with no prior admissions were six times more
likely to be incarcerated in a juvenile facility than a White youth with a
similar history. Latino youth were three times more likely to be imprisoned.

Among persons over age 24, Blacks (11.2%) were
significantly more likely to be pulled over while driving than Whites (8.9%).

Among drivers stopped for speeding, Blacks (75.7%)
and Hispanics (79.4%) were more likely than Whites (66.6%) to be ticketed

Police were more likely to conduct a search of the
vehicle and/or driver in traffic stops involving Black male drivers (15.9%) or
Hispanic male drivers (14.2%), compared to White male drivers (7.9%).
