[su_right_ad]What? Canada isn’t good enough? It’s back to the arguments we heard after 9/11. Just switch al Qaeda for ISIS.

“But it’s not just ISIS,” Rubio added. “I mean, there are multiple groups around the world that want to strike us. I mean, we forget, with all this focus on ISIL, and rightfully so, that there are multiple other groups that are plotting the exact same things. There’s a new al Qaeda affiliate in the Indian peninsula…There’s al Nusra. There’s all sorts of elements in Pakistan that are extremely dangerous, as well.”Rubio also emphasized the threat from ISIS members holding Western passports entering through airports. “So the border is certainly a concern, but so are our airports because many come of them from visa waiver countries that allow them immediate access to our nation.”

Rubio joins Republicans such as Texas Gov. Rick Perry, a potential presidential primary rival, in warning of ISIS crossing the southern border.[su_csky_ad]

Meanwhile, Marco, you mention nothing about the domestic terrorists doing damage to our country right now. they are call “sovereign citizens”, “right to life” murderers and other active organizations who suborn terrorism, NRA and Gun Owners of America come to mind. What are you going to do to secure our internal borders and go after these people?

  2. Pilotshark September 17th, 2014 at 11:35 am

election season is becoming or has been the fear, terrorist season. lets fear monger and make totally wild a$$ scenario`s of how ISIS/L will attack us.

hey here is a though, if you are terrorist/panic by them, you have allowed them to WIN!

  3. jasperjava September 17th, 2014 at 11:51 am

And they’ll be bringing their Muslim prayer mats, cleverly disguised as Adidas soccer jerseys.

  4. Wayout September 17th, 2014 at 12:20 pm

Having lived on the US/Canadian border, It is much, much harder to get into the country illegally there than on the southern border. Right now, the southern border is very porous and if the ISIS group threat isn’t enough to put military forces down there, nothing is. We have thousands of illegals constantly coming over along with tons of illegal drugs yet the government does not want to deal with the problem in an effective manner. When you liberals start getting killed and maimed in a terrorist action in some big city some where and it is determined that they came over the southern border, then maybe something will finally happen. The constant desire to not offend the Mexican government and Hispanics in general is political correctness run amok.

    • NW10 September 17th, 2014 at 12:56 pm

We have thousands of illegals constantly coming over along

A person is a person. An action is illegal. How can a person be illegal? Have you ever driven faster than the speed limit? I’m sure you have. Does that make you an illegal? If not, why not? You broke the law.

When you liberals start getting killed and maimed in a terrorist action
in some big city some where and it is determined that they came over the
      southern border,

The 9/11 terrorists came here legally on visas, not from the southern border. Funny how you ignore that.

I wonder why any one here ever bothers to respond to wahoo – he’s been a dip from his first long ago posting.

“Having lived on the US/Canadian border, It is much, much harder to get into the country illegally there than on the southern border”

Yeah other than 4 great lakes, (Michigan is entirely in the USA) that comprises 71500 square miles of water and a distance from the Atlantic Ocean to Duluth, Minnesota of ONLY 2,038 nautical miles (2,342 statute miles or 3,700 kilometres), or 8.5 sailing days, the border with Canada is COMPLETLEY sealed tight.

    • tracey marie September 17th, 2014 at 5:42 pm

9-11 was a repubs fault, stop pushing lies and fear

  5. Bunya September 17th, 2014 at 2:42 pm

Must be an election year because the GOP’s “hair on fire” threat level on Dubya’s homeland security advisory system makes its way up to “red”, piquing right around November.

Rubiola, you will not be President. Just move on .

“U.S. Border Patrol agents detained 53 Arabic-speaking males in
Arizona near the Mexican border on June 13, according to a report by a
    small-town newspaper in Tombstone, Arizona.
The same report detailed a second incident on June 21 in which 24
Arabic-speaking males were seized after a chase of a larger group of
border-crossers, most of whom are still at large.”
And more and more mexican-gang members are showing up w/tattoos written in arabic languages.
To say there is no threat at all and laugh it off is the wrong attitude.

    • tracey marie September 17th, 2014 at 5:41 pm

stormfront and WND are not reliable sources…

      • Spirit of America September 17th, 2014 at 5:50 pm

Never heard of either. But whether they are reliable or not, doesn’t change facts of the matter discussed.

        • tracey marie September 17th, 2014 at 6:00 pm

when will you post facts not hyperbolic fear mongering babble?

          • Spirit of America September 17th, 2014 at 6:03 pm

From day 1. Why do you refuse to accept facts just because they don’t fall into your way of how the world should be? I seriously doubt the border patrol makes up false reports just to scare you, you’re not all that important to them I’d wager.

          • tracey marie September 17th, 2014 at 6:06 pm

lol, it was not the border patrol whgo made up these lies, it is ypou and all the other fear mongers out there

  8. majii September 17th, 2014 at 5:58 pm

Has anyone besides myself detected a GOPTP fear-mongering pattern in election years recently? In 2010, it was Park 51 and the “threat” that if Muslim-Americans established a community center in NYC near Ground Zero, all of us would die because of ”creeping Sharia.” In 2012, it was “the border is so porous that Mexicans are coming to your neighborhood to take your job and kill you, and the “threat” of the 47% bankrupting citizens and the federal government. And, now in 2014, it’s “ISIS is in your neighborhood, knocking on your door, be afraid, be very afraid.”

I’m not saying ISIS isn’t a threat, but the overwhelming fear I’m witnessing in many Americans toward ISIS members says anything but “I have faith in my government and military’s ability to protect me.” I’m also not seeing a belief in these fear-filled individuals that they really believe America is the true home of the brave.
