Women with Open Carry Texas held a rally on Saturday in San Antonio to prove that all Moms do not support gun control. Naturally, the Mom in the picture does not support gun safety laws. This Mom feels it necessary to openly carry her rifle while holding her baby. That begs a few questions: If she dropped one of them, which one would she reach for first? Also, why is she so frightened of this precious baby so much so that she is carrying a rifle?

The gathering is titled the “Goddesses with guns rally.”

[su_center_ad]She openly admits that carrying a rifle is “alarming” yet she will continue to do so, because she feels gun laws in Texas are too lax.

One commenter chimed in while the group discussed bringing their children to the gun rally, writing, “Ok!!! Well she’s all pumped now cause I told her we are gonna go walk with my gun lol!”

Emily Grisham, the leader of OCT’s wife, writes:

A reminder of our giveaways! You can only enter once, must be present to win, but they are free, and how awesome is that?!
One free 1851 Colt Navy BP revolver.
One free gift card for a femme fatale corset holster, a $89 value.
Two boxes of 9 mm ammo.
One box of .22 ammo.
A free CHL class hosted by Kuyper Consultants in San Antonio for either an October or November class.
Five books of the “My Parents Open Carry.”
The best part is, ALL the adults can enter the giveaways! Not just the women! See? We love our guys, too!

A “patriotic” American threw in his support while mentioning secession.

Nothing says patriotic more than wanting no part of America.

Most of the people on the list expected to attend the women’s rally are men. Of the 47 who said they would go, 18 are women, including the leader’s wife. Supporters include Birthers, Benghazi truthers and other conspiracy theorists. I wonder if they think Obummer is going to grab their guns on his last day in office. Tick tock. [su_csky_ad]

It sounds like that were afraid. I wouldn’t invite men; if it’s for ladies (moms) only.

damn, I wish to apologize for all the rednecks in texas. We are all not like them

    • Carla Akins September 20th, 2014 at 8:52 pm

No worries, I feel like I have to apologize for white people – ALL the time.

    • tiredoftea September 20th, 2014 at 8:53 pm

Since Sarah recently apologized for America, you can certainly apologize for Texas.

It is embarrassing to say the least. Being hassled and attacked when we register people to vote and at the polling precincts…this has got to change

        • tiredoftea September 20th, 2014 at 9:01 pm

You could try a reading test where the people hassling you have to pass one to take the next step!

          • tracey marie September 20th, 2014 at 9:20 pm

I actually had 2 rednecks say that they will register so in 2016 they can vote against whomever runs against Obama…no shit, they are that stupid

          • tiredoftea September 20th, 2014 at 9:32 pm

Yeah, I am not surprised and, on the other hand, repulsed by how stupid a large percentage of our fellow citizens can be.

I’ll bet Molly Ivins is spinning in her grave. I’d sure love to see her take on modern day Texas…

Wendy is really only 6 points behind, when you consider the fact that Mrs. Perry is voting for Ms. Davis I will not be surprised if the race was close or she won.

            We can only hope!

I’m in Virginia with Coocoocellie (Cuccinelli), Bob Marshal, Eric Cantor, E. W. Jackson, Eugene Delgaudio (The Public Advocate) and ex gov convicted felon McDonnell, feel my pain.

        • M D Reese September 21st, 2014 at 8:00 pm

You win! You’ve got me in tears! I hope you folks get some relief soon. I wonder how long McDonnell will be able to keep his appeal going. What a prince among men!

His brilliant defense was to push his wife under the bus and blame everything on her. This from a Pat Robertson Family Values guy.
He also stuck us with an egregious sweetheart deal with a corporation, Elizabeth River Crossing, to upgrade our tunnels, a deal that was sprung on the public after it was a done deal. We get high tolls (EZ Pass only) with a future of higher tolls and a profit guarantee for the company AND a no competition clause. To top it off, the courts said there was a free alternative route, that is miles longer and very inconvenient, and that made the tolls OK.

          • M D Reese September 22nd, 2014 at 7:35 pm

That’s how they roll, all right. It’s disgusting.
I did get a kick out of the guilty verdicts. Who knows, maybe someone is looking into ALL of his wheeling and dealing now.

          • Red Mann September 22nd, 2014 at 7:47 pm

He’s trying to get an acquittal. I hope the hypocritical bastard rots in jail, smarmy religious puke.

          • M D Reese September 22nd, 2014 at 10:38 pm

I hope he does every day of whatever sentence he gets. I understand that he could get a long sentence. Hopefully governor Good Hair Perry will get a comeuppance too.

So, to recap, these loons are carrying legal rifles at their open carry dumb-a-thons rather than protest with the pistols that are prohibited because they are too chicken to risk arrest for their beliefs and advocate for their position in court?

On top of that, the women open carry thing is mostly men. No doubt the well dressed and fit examples of manly manliness we’ve seen in other pics who mostly need their manly rifles to beat back the hot women they so desperately imagine want them.

And, their main issue is cost? I thought there was a constitutional issue at risk. I guess not. What they are really admitting is that they are under achievers who can’t afford the price of their obsession and want the rest of us to support them. Socialist! A bunch of socialists is what they are!

    What is it with Texas?..
Is it something in the water?

    • tiredoftea September 20th, 2014 at 9:34 pm

No, the EPA still operates there. It’s the culture and lack of education.

It looks to me like the child is just a prop – what she REALLY loves is hanging over her shoulder.

  8. Dave September 21st, 2014 at 11:17 am

She has in her possession the one thing that she loves more than anything on this earth….something that makes her wake up every day and realize life is worth living. And the other thing is her kid.
