Allen West is upset that President Obama won’t divulge the precise strategy that he will employ to degrade and destroy ISIS. He says,

Obama delivered his 15-minute empty speech which focused more on what he was not going to do along with self-righteous indignation in dismissing ISIS’ Islamic ideology.

Allen-West[su_center_ad]

These folks on the Right want the president to denounce the faith of over one billion Muslims on the planet. Because ISIS declares itself the Islamic State by name, the majority of Islamic people who aren’t violent-obsessed Muslims disavow the terrorist group. Allen West claims the president is remiss by honoring the very treaty President Bush signed with the Al-Maliki government stating that in 2011, the U.S. would withdraw all combat troops. Most Americans were in favor of this measure by that point, the country was severely war weary.

The raw hate of Allen West never fails to reveal itself.

Even former Obama administration Secretary of Defense, Leon Panetta, has confided in an interview that he was against the withdrawal of our forces from Iraq. So who does Obama listen to? Obviously not the people assigned to key national security positions. I suppose being a complete political animal means he only confides in Darth Vader’s sister, Valerie Jarrett…We are slowly watching the demise of our nation at the hands of an ego maniacal intransigent ideologue. We will be ultimately victorious, but the pain is going to be rather intense for a period of time.

What Panetta actually said before West completely twisted his words was, Obama should have armed and trained Syria’s rebels in their uprising against President Bashar Assad. Facing defeat in the House and Senate, the administration opted for Russian-supported mediation and Assad relinquished his chemical arsenal, without a single American life sacrificed. He also stated the Iraqi government refused a deal to allow U.S. military forces to stay in Iraq. As the New York Times reported in 2011, “Iraqis were unwilling to accept” the terms of a Status of Forces Agreement to leave thousands of troops as a residual force. Many on the right have repeatedly failed to mention this important detail. The Republicans never bring up McCain’s folly with the leaders of what is now ISIS., whom the Right Wing is accusing the CIA of training.

So what’s it going to be? Should he predict the future by deciding which terrorist group the current rebels will transform into? The token Black Republican has such disdain for his Commander in Chief, it’s not implausible he would probably aid and abet ISIS just to spite the President. [su_csky_ad]

Allen West? …and you’re the elected representative of who?

  3. Carla Akins September 23rd, 2014 at 8:40 am

Like Christians want to be defined by Allen West.

Move on Urkel, no one cares what you think.

  5. Jake September 23rd, 2014 at 9:03 am

Yeah let’s face it, if I was the President of the United States of America embarking on a sensitive military mission the first person I would advise would be a psychopathic, disgraced ex-soldier who snuck out of the army before he could be court-martialed.

  6. searambler September 23rd, 2014 at 9:25 am

Taking military advice from a guy who was kicked out of the military is kinda like taking marital advice from Newt Gingrich, Karl Rove, or Mark Sanford……..

    • Wayout September 23rd, 2014 at 9:33 am

He was kicked out? I think you are wrong – he was honorably retired from the military.

      • Red Mann September 23rd, 2014 at 9:53 am

He resigned to avoid a court martial after receiving NJP due to his misconduct with an Iraqi prisoner. He is also as crazy as a loon.

        • Obewon September 23rd, 2014 at 9:59 am

Allen West was also fined $5,000 for torture in violation of UCMJ. Had West not resigned in disgrace, his choice was 10 years in Leavenworth Penitentiary.

U.S. officer fined for harsh interrogation tactics
Saturday, December 13, 2003 Posted: 6:16 AM EST (1116 GMT)

TIKRIT, Iraq (CNN) — The commanding general of the 4th Infantry Division on Friday accepted a U.S. military investigator’s recommendation and ordered administrative action against Lt. Col. Allen West, who was accused of using improper methods to force information out of an Iraqi detainee.

Following a military hearing, West was fined $5,000 over two months, according to West’s civillian attorney, Neal Puckett.

The punishment does not affect West’s eligibility for retirement and pension, Puckett said in a statement.

West, 42, will be assigned to the rear detachment of the 4th Infantry Division awaiting the processing of his retirement request, the statement said.

Maj. Gen. Raymond Odierno, the 4th Infantry’s top general in Tikrit, could have rejected the recommendation and ordered a court martial. If he were to be found guilty at a court martial of the two articles against him, West could have faced 11 years in prison, a military prosecutor told CNN.

The case stems from an incident August 20 at a military base in Taji, just north of Baghdad, when West was interrogating an Iraqi policeman, who was believed to have information about a plot to assassinate West with an ambush on a U.S. convoy.

In testimony at an Article 32 hearing — the military’s version of a grand jury or preliminary hearing — West said the policeman, Yahya Jhrodi Hamoody, was not cooperating with interrogators, so he watched four of his soldiers from the 220th Field Artillery Battalion beat the detainee on the head and body.

West said he also threatened to kill Hamoody. Military prosecutors say West followed up on that threat by taking the suspect outside, put him on the ground near a weapons clearing barrel and fired his 9 mm pistol into the barrel.

Actually he was asked to retire. In the military when you screw up you are often given the choice of retiring/resigning or facing disciplinary action. Had West had any conviction or belief that he was in the right he would have had the courage to prove his innocence and face a courts martial. Instead he took the cowards way out. He was immediately welcomed into the fold of the right wing coward club.

        • Dwendt44 September 23rd, 2014 at 12:27 pm

Correct. The rules are different for officers and for enlisted. The enlisted soldier rarely gets a choice, he’s booted out, period. Officers (and gentlemen) are handled with a bit more ‘compassion’, and given choices about their future.
IIRC, for some officers, if they are passed over for promotion more that three times, they are offered the door or the boot.

      • searambler September 23rd, 2014 at 8:23 pm

“In 2003, West was charged in an incident that involved the beating and simulated execution of an Iraqi police officer. West was fined $5,000, accepted a Non-judicial punishment and allowed to retire as a lieutenant colonel after an Article 32 hearing.”

        Honorable? Not so much…

And to top things off, the White House yesterday confirmed it is letting people back into our country who have been fighting with ISIS. This is a stupid insane policy and puts all citizens at risk of being attacked. Those citizens who have fought with ISIS should have their passports and citizenships revoked immediately and not be allowed back into the country. Unbelievable!

    • Red Mann September 23rd, 2014 at 9:57 am

No, he’s not “letting people back into our country”, he noted that some have returned. They are American citizens and are returning to their own country. There is no way to prove that they have committed a crime but the FBI is watching them. What law would you cite to revoke the citizenship of a natural born citizen.

      • StoneyCurtisll September 23rd, 2014 at 10:10 am

        Exactly~!

    • William September 23rd, 2014 at 10:38 am

You have a link to this story of course?

Shorter Wayout: F#ck the Constitution! Revoke the 14th Amendment! The Bills of Rights too!

      Same fascist garbage as usual.

    • arc99 September 23rd, 2014 at 2:30 pm

another day, another example of how right wingers throw the Constitution in the trash can when it does not support their agenda

exactly how does unilateral revocation of citizenship and passport without indictment or trial, NOT violate the 5th amendment?

other than the second amendment, is there any other right in the Bill of Rights you right wingers actually believe in, regardless of whether that belief supports your political agenda?

      Amendment 5

No person shall be held to answer for a capital, or otherwise infamous crime, unless on a presentment or indictment of a Grand Jury, except in cases arising in the land or naval forces, or in the Militia, when in actual service in time of War or public danger; nor shall any person be subject for the same offense to be twice put in jeopardy of life or limb; nor shall be compelled in anycriminal case to be a witness against himself, nor be deprived of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor shall private property be taken for public use, without just compensation.

Valarie Jarrett is cheny’s sister? I never seen that tidbit coming. This is what is going to hand the democrats the win in November, these idiots keep spewing their right wing garbage and the population is sick of it. These college graduates can’t even form a rational argument against the man they deem is not of this country, who sides with militant groups who claim to follow the Muslim religion, who ran the IRS as they conducted criminal activity against right wing groups, and ended the Iraq war too soon and jeopardized America and her citizens. Keep talking yourself into the grave.

  9. Obewon September 23rd, 2014 at 9:49 am

This is win-win if the US extradites forced to resign disgraced torturer Allen West back to Iraq! Allen West and Blackwater/Xe/Tripple Canopy crimes are why in 2011, “Iraqis were unwilling to accept” the terms of a Status of Forces Agreement to leave thousands of troops as a residual force -with Iraqi immunity from prosecution for U. S. Military.

  10. Dwendt44 September 23rd, 2014 at 12:31 pm

Let’s not dismiss the ‘christian’ ideology of the KKK, or the ‘christian’ ideology of the IRA, or the ‘christian’ ideology of the various militia groups, skin heads, and most all other racist groups.

  11. tiredoftea September 23rd, 2014 at 12:59 pm

“…ego maniacal intransigent ideologue”, pretty good self description there, Allen! Which is why you are a one term failed Congressman and disgraced ex-military officer who is criticizing a twice elected President.

  12. majii September 23rd, 2014 at 6:54 pm

Allen West is still butt-hurt that he was forced to leave the army due to conduct unbecoming an officer and to avoid being court-martialed. He reminds me of Alan Keyes in that he’s jealous that another black man could do something he’ll never be able to accomplish.
