Be afraid. Be very afraid.

While the U.S. and its allies launched cruise missiles and precision-guided bombs from the air and sea onto ISIS territory, Rep. Paul Gosar (R-AZ) took to Twitter on Tuesday to let us know that the extremists are really at our border. You see, this whole time ISIS militants have been right here just knocking at our door.

Gosar

[su_center_ad]Gosar tweeted that “25 miles of barbed wire fence is the only thing” keeping out members of the militant group Islamic State, Think Progress reports.

On his Twitter timeline, the Congressman points to a sign which reads, “smuggling and illegal immigration may be encountered in this area.”

He’s saying they are right there in your face. How frightening that there’s a warning sign. And right behind that sign are ISIS members although we can’t see them and there is no credible evidence suggesting as such.

In another tweet which included photographs, he wrote, “25 miles of barbed wire fence is the only thing keeping #ISIS out of America. We must secure the border #AZBorderTour.”

Build that danged fence, Mr. President. We need to keep this group of bad actors out of our country and according to the Congressman, all it takes is a sturdy fence. Vote Gosnar, because fences. [su_csky_ad]

Paul Gosar is another Tea Party candidate from Koch Brothers wave of 2010 election.

He was endorsed by Half Governor and three Arizona county sheriffs: Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Coconino County Sheriff Joe Richards, and Pinal County Sheriff PaulBabeu.

He initially agreed to one debate before the election, but later withdrew because he was attending a fundraiser instead.

He changed his mind and announced in January 2012 he would run in the newly created 4th district, which is heavily Republican. As part of the move, he bought a second home in Prescott, which he claims as his official residence.

Barbed wire! Because everybody knows ISIS guys don’t have wire or bolt cutters where they come from. Amazing how they assume dark skin is all the same and always comes from the south. As I recall, the 9/11 terrorists came in through Canada. That’s…not Mexico.

    • mfr4 September 23rd, 2014 at 10:35 pm

They did not come through Canada, landed legally through US airports, with valid travel docs. http://cis.org/kephart/NapalitanosMistakes

Another example of falsehoods being propagated years after the event in spite of the evidence.

or a blanket to throw over the wire

  3. KB723 September 23rd, 2014 at 10:16 pm

Surprisingly, it is not keeping out the undocumented, Uh Oh, now I am worried!!! =(

  4. tiredoftea September 23rd, 2014 at 11:17 pm

Umm, yeah, because the 7,000 miles or so between Syria and Iraq to the AZ. border has nothing to do with keeping them there. It’s barbed wire phobia so common among the ISIS members.

uh huh, a bunch of scardycatz who qivver at the sight of the wire and run screaming in the face of female warriors. – WACOCS. (what a collection of chicken shits)

But nothing is stopping you all from leaving the U.S. Please secede.

One can understand the confusion. Both terrorists and cartels operate in much the same brutally outrageous manner; take over territory, kill hostages, use high-tech weapons and propaganda, create refugees, use the global financial system and have deep roots in religion (FBI) Santa Muerte vs Allah: Inspired and Ritualistic Killings. Being wrong doesn’t mean he is incorrect! Just as poorly informed as apparently are Obama and most Americans when it comes to understanding the real Southern Threat.

that is the best definition of the actions being taken by the usa, france and the other piddling coalition members who are bombing the bejeezus out of sand and hydra like people who resent everything the west stands for-they are not terrorists, they are desperate and would like their homeland back.

      • greenfloyd September 24th, 2014 at 3:52 am

Perhaps we’re all living an illusion, however, there’s more to the story, U.S. strikes Khorasan Group in Syria – CNN.com is no “hydra.” These guys make ISIS look like a sideshow and gave us wonderful cover to give the Global Jihadis a well deserved trumping. Meanwhile, back on the Border…

Makes the Great Wall of China look like a total boondoggle. Who builds giant towering walls of stone when a few spiky strings would have kept the Mongol hordes at bay? Guess it would have been more cost effective, since the Great Wall was a failure. But at least it’s good for tourism, whereas nobody wants to visit the Arizona boarder’s newest attraction, Tetanus Park.

“Gosar tweeted that “25 miles of barbed wire fence is the only thing” keeping out members of the militant group Islamic State,”
Must be time to send a Carrier Task Group into the Gulf of Mexico and Launch “Air Strikes” and Tomahawks along the AZ Border : )

    • Larry Schmitt September 24th, 2014 at 7:27 am

The Gulf of California (sometimes called the Sea of Cortez, but not by the Mexicans) would get them a lot closer.

      • New Old Gnu September 24th, 2014 at 7:30 am

Good Point …. And You’re “Right”, of course : )

  9. fancypants September 24th, 2014 at 4:52 am

“We” have a Great “History” of Learning NOTHING from History : )

  10. rg9rts September 24th, 2014 at 5:59 am

Someone should tell them that ISIS will probably land at Reagan International

  11. Larry Schmitt September 24th, 2014 at 7:17 am

You’ve heard about those magic fences, that keep terrorists and cows from crossing the border.

  12. uzza September 24th, 2014 at 8:12 am

ISIL is so last week. Everyone’s scared of Khorasan now.

  13. Suzanne McFly September 24th, 2014 at 8:51 am

Makes it hard to call them terrorists when they are afraid of barbed wire, good job congressman, you just made it seem like we are dealing with a bunch of little wimps now.
