Iraq PM Reveals Plot To Attack New York Subways
[su_right_ad]Iraq Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi says he was told of a plot by the Islamic State to attack New York subways.
Asked if the attack had been thwarted, he said, “No.” Al-Abadi said the United States had been alerted .
He made the remarks at a meeting with journalists on the sidelines of a gathering of world leaders at the United Nations General Assembly.
Congressman Peter King, member of the Homeland Security Commission, told CBS 2 that he has not seen evidence of an imminent threat against the United States.
“I have been aware that there are plots that ISIS is planning overseas against other countries, quite honestly, I have not been advised of this — and I have been checking this out — I don’t believe that the U.S. government has been advised of an imminent plot,” King said.
“It could be speculation in Iraq, it could be conversations where they were talking about it as aspirational, but as far as it being in motion I don’t believe it is,” King added.[su_csky_ad]

So he knows about their overseas plans of attacks yet apparently oblivious of isis overrunning an army base just outside of Baghdad.

People thrive on fear. We are not going to be able to stop all terrorist attacks. But we do need to deal with the domestic terrorist that is threatening our country; right now!!!!

We are entering a whole new phase in the fight due to a shift in the paradigm that we now have to deal with.
It used to be we had a big board w/circles representing individual groups on it… w/in the circles, key players & ‘roster’. Where/when circles touched, those groups had comms/relationships with each other… not many touched though.
Then it shifted to leafs were groups, on same branch relationships w/each other, same tree had comms w/each other.
Now however we have groups w/roster lists, that’s it. Cause they are now all working together via social media.. 1 group puts out a call for something/somewhere, and another group(or lone wolf) w/no prior connections to the 1st group picks up the call and commits the act. One public case in point is the french beheading this week; 1 group put out the call, an algerian group pulled off the deed.
What this does is make it 1 single entity to deal with when chatter goes up.

Congressman Peter King should check with the House & Senate Intelligence Committee members. These credibly verified threats involve French & U.S. citizen ISIS combatants. In NYC subways we have very good security including armed U.S. Military, 24/7 video surveillance with Nuclear, Biological, Chemical (NBC) monitors and other explosives detection systems.
