Picking up on the inability of conservatives to graciously welcome a new baby into the world, the New York Post added to the nastygrams.

Funny, I thought these people were pro-birth. [su_csky_ad]

ignorance seems to be the rwnj meme

    • jasperjava September 29th, 2014 at 12:19 am

      That’s because they ARE ignorant.

    • Candide Thirtythree November 15th, 2014 at 11:36 pm

Hey, they even call their own party the stupid party, so it isn’t like it is a surprise to them.

      • tracey marie November 15th, 2014 at 11:37 pm

        that made me laugh

  2. arc99 September 28th, 2014 at 3:24 pm

OK folks, the verdict is in. NO both sides do not do it.

Please show me one example of an editorially liberal newspaper in a major American city publishing this kind of pathetic spiteful bile about a family event of any Republican or conservative on the front page.

It is one thing to argue that we should not judge conservatives based on a few vile tweets from anonymous random nobodies. Fair enough.

But when a conservative newspaper whose circulation is ranked in the top 20 nationwide engages in the same kind of hatred, with the added prominence of appearing on the front page, I say yes it is fair to conclude that crude boorishness is the rule, not the exception among the American right.

    • tracey marie September 28th, 2014 at 3:27 pm

and their fox slop doing the same.

    • Larry Schmitt September 28th, 2014 at 3:34 pm

Here’s how the Wash Post handles it:
New mom Chelsea Clinton celebrates baby daughter
      And the NY Times:
Daughter for Chelsea Clinton (and Granddaughter for a Certain Couple)
That takes care of the so-called “Liberal Lame Stream Media.” Compare that to what the NY Post and fox news did.

      • arc99 September 28th, 2014 at 3:54 pm

I would invite those who insist on propagating the “both sides do it” fiction, familiarize themselves with the reporting on the birth of Sarah Palin’s grandchild.

What you will find is that the worst that can be said is that some of the stories made reference to possible criminal activity by the father’s family. But there were no crude references to the baby.

Right wingers, with all due respect (none), many of you are scum.

Good heavens, have you forgotten what the liberal media said about Sarah Palin?

      • Dwendt44 September 28th, 2014 at 6:00 pm

Palin is fair game, most of it was the truth. It’s the children that should be off limits.

      • arc99 September 28th, 2014 at 6:06 pm

No I have not forgotten at all what the liberal media said about the birth of Sarah Palin’s grandchild. I will repeat the link I shared below.

We are talking about the NY Posts’ crude coverage of the birth of the Clinton grandchild.

Are you right wingers so ugly and filled with hatred inside that you cannot even condemn that kind of “journalism” where a baby is the subject of a political attack?

And she deserved every bit of it. She is a shrill, clueless, hypocritical clown who had no business being a dog catcher much less the international stage. She is a disgrace to America.

      • jasperjava September 29th, 2014 at 12:17 am

Palin was and is an appalling disgrace, an ignorant, nasty, bitter, awful person.

But she’s not an innocent newborn. She was the Republican nominee for Vice President if the United States. She deserved every bit of scorn she got.

There were attacks against her family, and I take the same view as President Obama: those attacks were wrong and should be denounced. Same as those who frame attacks on her in sexist terms. I strongly disagree with those.

I find it incredible that you think she ought to be treated the same as a week-old baby. I guess that’s a reflection on her intelligence.

  3. Larry Schmitt September 28th, 2014 at 3:28 pm

What do you expect from the print equivalent of fox news?

  4. tiredoftea September 28th, 2014 at 3:28 pm

Another bottom feeding Murdoch publication pretending to be a news outlet.

  5. Guy Lauten September 28th, 2014 at 3:55 pm

I’m sure their mothers are so proud of them.

  6. forpeace September 28th, 2014 at 4:14 pm

What do you expect from a “Tabloid” called New York Post that is owned by Rupert Murdoch and his News Corp.?

I would like to see a copy of New York Post’s cover when George W Bush’s Jenna Bush had her new baby.

I’m sure there wasn’t this headline next to the image:

“Another Neocon crybaby for Republican Bushs.”

  7. Theresa2u September 28th, 2014 at 4:31 pm

What is the New York Post but an extension of Fox? Anything owned and operated by Rupert Murdoch, is a disgrace! This is just one more reason to get out the vote and vote Democratic across the board!! Vote!! It’s our only hope against the right wing nuts that have taken over this country!!

  8. whatthe46 September 28th, 2014 at 4:32 pm

amazing how they can be so blatantly proud of ignorance.

  9. arc99 September 28th, 2014 at 4:59 pm

Hey right wingers, pause for a moment and learn a thing or two about class and human decency from the man you guys love to hate

    http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/politics/2008/09/obama-to-media-2/

At a brief press availability in Monroe, Mich., ABC News asked Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., if he had any response to Gov. Sarah Palin’s statement that her unmarried 17-year-old daughter Bristol is pregnant.

“Let me be a clear as possible: I have said before and I will repeat again, I think people’s families are off limits,” Obama said, “and people’s children are especially off limits.

“This shouldn’t be part of our politics,” he continued, “It has no relevance to Gov. Palin’s performance as governor, or her potential performance as a vice president.

“And so I would strongly urge people to back off these kinds of stories,” he said. “You know my mother had me when she was 18, and how a family deals with issues and, you know, teenage children, that shouldn’t be the topic of our politics and I hope that anybody who is supporting me understands that’s off limits.”

Asked about the insinuation from the McCain campaign that the liberal bloggers trafficking in rumors about Palin write for websites that mention Obama, the senator said, “I’m offended by that.”

The Democratic presidential nominee said, “There is no evidence at all that any of this involved us. I hope I am as clear as can be – so in case I’m not, let me repeat: We don’t go after people’s families, we don’t get them involved in the politics. It’s not appropriate and it’s not relevant.”

    • forpeace September 28th, 2014 at 5:11 pm

It is hard to teach those who have never been taught about having class and manners.

It is not easy to fix the stupid.

    • Wayout September 28th, 2014 at 5:51 pm

Stuff like this “shouldn’t be part of our politics” says Obama as his own IRS went after the political opposition and his AG stands idly by. A direct violation of some American citizens first Amendment rights and you libs are upset about this? Give me a break!

      • arc99 September 28th, 2014 at 5:59 pm

I am not surprised that you try to change the subject to the non-existent IRS “scandal” relying on the usual lies about going after people and the AG doing nothing. In fact, it is expected behavior.

We have a shining example in the NY Post article of exactly the kind of crude, vulgar people so many right wingers are. Your only possible rebuttal is to change the subject to something you can lie about.

Thank you so much for the reinforcement of everything I have come to understand about much of right wing America.

        No class
        No decency
        No regard for facts

      • forpeace September 28th, 2014 at 5:59 pm

Give me a break, and get over IRS.
These are just a FEW of so many Tea Party groups connected to Koch Brothers and its affiliations that have been abusing taxpayers money aka special tax exemptions 501(c)4 in the name of non-profit group and “Social Welfare” while meddling in our politics and Congress:
        – ForAmerica – A conservative nonprofit group.
        – The Patriot Voices – The non-profit group that was launched by Rick Santorum.
        – Keep America Safe – Group founded by Liz Chiniy.
        – The Fellowship aka The Family – A Christian organization.
        – Americans for Tax Reform – Owned by Grover Norquist.
        – The Senate Conservatives Fund -Founded by Jim DeMint.
        – Freedom’s Watch – A lobbying organization founded by 12 people including Sheldon Adelson.

They HAVE to give the taxpayers money back to IRS, and apologize to American people.

      • arc99 September 28th, 2014 at 6:02 pm

couldn’t help notice that not even you could find a way to propagate the lie that “both sides do it”

no, both sides are not vulgar anti-family cretins who attack the birth of a baby for political purposes. that role is 100% owned by you right wingers.

      • Dwendt44 September 28th, 2014 at 6:03 pm

And just how was their First Amendment rights violated? they all got their tax exempt status despite what the law says.

      • forpeace September 28th, 2014 at 6:13 pm

Darrell Issa has been digging into everything he could have possible gone through to find something to abolish IRS, that was his agenda from day one, still he hasn’t found anything, meanwhile he has been cashing in on both Benghazi and IRS while fooling people like you.

April 2014 – Darrell Issa Started His IRS Investigation Because Karl Rove Was Denied Tax Exempt Status. http://www.politicususa.com/2014/04/11/documents-prove-crossroads-nexus-issa-investigation.html

      • Roctuna September 28th, 2014 at 6:13 pm

Wayout, please, just stop. You know this kind of trash talk about babies and moms is out of line. Can’t you give it a rest on any subject? I don’t care what offenses you perceive by Obama, rise above it for cryin’ out loud.

        • jasperjava September 29th, 2014 at 12:03 am

Rise above it? Wayout is the lowest if the low.

Just last month he said that he wasn’t “all that aggrieved” that thousands of US troops needlessly died in useless wars. And yet he’s a coward who refuses to fight in wars he supports.

Wayout is the worst scum there is.

      • forpeace September 28th, 2014 at 6:29 pm

I have been posting on this side for few days only, you are the first troll I’ve seen here, and I hope you are the last one. It seems you have difficulty to read the article or post relevant comments that are related to the articles, as you are on this thread talking about IRS!!

This is what you’ve posted on “Justice Department Tells Ferguson Police To Stop Wearing Darren Wilson Bracelets”:
        Wayout • a day ago
I bet the Justice Dept. wouldn’t have said a thing if the bracelets said Allahu Akbar.

        WTH is wrong with you?

        • whatthe46 September 28th, 2014 at 7:39 pm

that’s what happens when you have no valid arguments. you change the subject no matter how stupid.

          • Hirightnow September 28th, 2014 at 7:41 pm

            Plus, Benghazi.

          • forpeace September 28th, 2014 at 7:57 pm

That is very true, spot on!

        • Hirightnow September 28th, 2014 at 7:39 pm

forpeace, forgive me for not saying “Hi, right now!” sooner, and welcome to alan.com (I’m one of the newer weirdos, having come here from freakoutnation, which merged with this site…but for some reason they let me stay…)
As for “Wayout”, well, trolls gotta troll…like having a baby, you have to expect to put up with some sh!t now and then.
The mods here (Carla, Anomoly, etc.) don’t always purge the idiocy, possibly because, like salt on chocolate, it helps you appreciate the good stuff more.
Anyways, welcome aboard, and please keep your hands and feet inside the windows at all times.

          • forpeace September 28th, 2014 at 7:56 pm

Hello there Hirightnow, and thank you for the nice welcome. I will make sure to keep my hands and feet inside the window! 😉

I don’t mind having posters with different opinions on every site, posters that I can have a civilized discussion with. And, I do understand this is a public site, and everyone can post here including that “Wayout.”

I also have the right to put those who are here for trolling in their place by providing the facts and exposing who they are, I’m fine with that. I’ve noticed few moderators on this site, and they all seem very nice and reasonable.

Nowadays, trolls are everywhere, they are just like “Visa” and “Mastercards!” Have a great Sunday evening.

          • Hirightnow September 28th, 2014 at 8:08 pm

Same to you, vis-a-vis the Sunday.
I actually found this site through Mediamatters.org. But lately, the trolls there are just ridiculous…at least here there is some moderation to keep things civil.
As for putting the trolls in their place, well….good luck with that; I am of the opinion that the most obtuse of them are paid to read from a script, and the rest of them are (mostly) just parrots; i.e. they can’t be convinced that Fox and Fiends aren’t playing them, because “Look at Laura! She’s wearin’ a cross!”…and “That Hannity feller has a charity fer veterans!”.
            Meh. I’m not perfect, either.

R.J. Carter (a frequent RW poster here) is one of the few conservatives who keep “debate” at an interesting level….sadly, there are few others.

      • William September 28th, 2014 at 6:42 pm

Obama as his own IRS went after the political opposition and his AG stands idly by.
Please post a link to your credible evidence so we can all read it.

        • Red Mann September 28th, 2014 at 11:08 pm

There is none, just another RW lying point.

          • William September 28th, 2014 at 11:55 pm

Yeah…..but if they say it on the radio it must be true right?

          • Red Mann September 28th, 2014 at 11:59 pm

Yep, in the RW planet of Wingnuttia.

Jesus! You forgot to mention Benghazi… asshole!

      • Shades September 28th, 2014 at 10:41 pm

That’s all you’ve got? Some scuzzy tabloid trashes a newborn baby and this is your response? No wonder no one can stand you. You’re a schmuck.

“schmuck.” you’re nicer than i am that’s for sure.

I didn’t know there were still some people who are stupid and gullible enough to believe in that “IRS scandal” fairy tale.

You are the ideal voter for the Republicans: ignorant, low-IQ, and proud of it.

If Valve were to release Half-Life 3
      etc.

  11. Dwendt44 September 28th, 2014 at 6:18 pm

Certainly no way to talk about a future president of the United States.

    • forpeace September 28th, 2014 at 6:22 pm

It is shameful that those on the right react this way, or talk trash about a new born baby, it really doesn’t matter whose baby that is, a baby is just a bay.
