A good guy with a gun has been cited after accidentally shooting another good guy with a gun at a firearm shop in Jacksonville, North Carolina over the weekend, according to police.

[su_center_ad]35-year-old Jeremy Snyder received a citation for discharging a firearm within city limits, according to the Jacksonville Police Department.

According to WCTI 12, the shooting, which was determined to be accidental, happened at Guerrilla Armament, police said. Officers responded at about 3:35 p.m. on Sunday.

Investigators say that Snyder and 28-year-old Douglas Clapp, of Jacksonville, were both handling a weapon when the gun was discharged, with a bullet hitting Mr. Clapp.

Clapp was transported to a hospital and was initially listed in serious condition.

Investigators on Monday morning said the victim is now listed in good condition.

The location of the bullet wound has not been revealed.

Pointing out the ‘exception’ doesn’t make it ‘the rule.’

How many people were shot with illegal guns in Chicago this past week?

Been watching the NRA channel, were you?

      Gun loons: Noun, verb, Chicago!

How many? No, really, how many? Give me the numbers you apparently know.

Oh wait, you don’t, because you don’t honestly care. Gang violence is a prop for you to use as a shield. You don’t actually see it as a problem; you don’t actually give a fuck about their lives, and it doesn’t take a genius to guess why.

Wow, you’re good, and that was like only one application.

It’s a damn shame that your brains ran for the exit before your mouth realized that it was gone! This article happens to be highlighting the hypocrisy and stupidity of so called law abiding responsible gun owners that seem to be having this or similar issues on a daily or hourly basis! As a proud gun owner that totally understand that this can not continue to happen and that something has to give and one of the first things that needs to take place is for all responsible gun owners to start demanding that gun owners be responsible! To not recognize there is a problem and deflect to a totally unrelated situation does not change the facts that a large number of gun owners are not responsible and are endangering themselves and society as a whole!

Yes, indeed. Another example of responsible gun zealots in a gun store! Giving new meaning to the infinite monkey theory!

Why were they both fondling the weapon at the same time? Menage a trois?

  5. NW10 September 29th, 2014 at 1:34 pm

More “responsible” gun ownership in action!

  6. Stevojax September 29th, 2014 at 2:19 pm

The location of the bullet was not disclosed. Could this possible be a gun fetish accident .
