Cool, next time my boss orders me to do something, I’ll use the Hagel excuse “I’m taking my time. I owe that to the American people, I owe that to you, boss“, and I just won’t do it for six years.

There’s this thing called a cerebral cortex, and if you use it you’ll be able to follow along:
        The President is Hagel’s boss.
Hagel’s boss ordered Hagel to do something.
Hagel didn’t do what his boss ordered.
Someone asks Hagel why he didn’t do what his boss ordered.
Hagel’s excuse is “”I’m taking my time. I owe that to the American people, I owe that to the president.”
        ——cf
        I have a boss.
She orders me to do things.
I don’t do what my boss orders.
See, it’s an exact parallel up till now. But,
        I don’t use Hagel’s excuse.
        I get fired.

Romney’s 47% ‘Uniting and Strengthening America by Providing Appropriate Tools Required to Intercept and Obstruct Terrorism Act’ (USA, USA, USA –
        PATRIOT Act)
makes Guantanamo ever bit as legal as the Gestapo was in France.

-and yet some people in the USA are still old fashioned enough to question the Constitutional Legality of such operations!

        Truman:
“I just keep telling the truth, and they (Romney’s 47%) THINK it’s hell”.

I thought the process was stalled at the Pentagon. Now suddenly it’s Congress’ fault?

Guantanamo has been the greatest tool for anti-western adversaries since the 3rd Reich Gesto was in France.

Fear of releasing those who will go fight with anti-western terrorist? Now why would anyone who was caught up in a foreign instigated civil war in their homeland , lied to, mistreated, tortured, shipped halfway around the world, beaten, falsely accused, broken in body, separated from their families and homelands, prosecuted in makeshift military tribunals, all to get a knowingly false confession want to join up with a resistance force.
Hell, Romney’s 47% made up US History says those that were returned to the colonies ran and hide in fear of the Red Coats! – natural response I suppose?

Too bad we can’t surgically plant tracking chips in them that can’t be removed. It would be nice to release them and if they join a terrorist group, just let them be walking targets.
