The overwhelming majority of violent crime across America is conducted by young, black males who, sadly, are on the self-inflicted expressway to prison or an early grave – or more often than not, both.
A plague of black violence has infested our inner cities, yet our national propaganda ministry has chosen to ignore the gory details of this plague, as do so many of our politicians. Instead, they focus on “gun-related” violence…
Liberalism and their insane cult of denial is the root cause of this plague of violence.
It is liberalism that engineered and created the very conditions that have decimated and destroyed black American families and their communities. Astonishingly and regretfully, the overwhelming majority of black Americans continue to vote for the very political party that has destroyed them.
It is the big lie of liberalism that has enslaved and destroyed so many black families and their communities…

what would be even more cogent would be to stop parroting fairy tales about black men walking out so their wives could get more welfare money.
I know a fair number of black people, starting with my parents so that would be two. However they are unfortunately deceased. But when I add in siblings, cousins, in-laws, friends etc. I quickly lose count of how many black people I know.
But I can say that in my own unscientific survey sampling, this Great Society myth about aid to the poor splitting up families is the biggest load of horsesh*t since the Bigfoot sighting.

Well, your personal experiences don’t address the overall statistics about single mothers (let alone dispel any specific cause for it).
But since we’re comparing personal experiences: I went through a bout of unemployment about 3 years ago. My wife has cerebral palsy, so we figured this was a good time to have her apply for the disability that everyone told her she should have been receiving all these years.
The Social Security office took her application, then called her back in after reviewing it. Everything about her application “screamed” (their words) approval — except for the fact that she was married. Even though I was unemployed, the fact that I had an earnings potential and that I was still actively looking for work disqualified her.
The agent then shut off his recorder.
He then explained to her that if she got divorced from me, she would receive the full disability benefit. What’s more, because we had a child, she would receive additional benefits. I just couldn’t live there.
The total estimated benefits he calculated were in excess of my prior monthly income. (In fact, they’re slightly ahead of my current monthly income.)
We didn’t split up, so there’s an argument there to be made that it doesn’t cause families to split. But I can’t be convinced otherwise, given what we witnessed in person, that the enticement isn’t there.

If you have statistics showing how many single mothers there are because of an explicit decision for the man to leave to increase benefits, then please share them.
Otherwise, while my personal experiences do not address overall statistics, neither do hypotheticals about what people find enticing.
Given what I have witnessed in person, I cannot be convinced that men leaving their families so that women can maximize their benefits is anything other than a convenient talking point for those who want to cut social programs.

There are a number of studies online showing the anticipated effects of PRWORA on marriage and divorce (increasing the former, decreasing the latter). Why would they be aiming toward these goals if the prior standing of the welfare programs didn’t disincentivize marriage?

The facts show;
Although crack and cocaine are virtually the same thing, Congress has assigned far
harsher penalties to crimes involving crack, a drug primarily associated with
people of color. In 1988, Congress passed a law that created a 100:1 quantity
ratio between the amount of crack and powder cocaine needed to produce certain
mandatory minimum sentences for trafficking and created mandatory minimum
penalties for simple possession.
Crack is the only drug with a mandatory prison sentence for a first offense simple
possession. The maximum sentence someone can receive for simple possession of
powder cocaine is one year.
Not
only are crack and powder cocaine simply different forms of the same drug, but
crack is primarily thought of as a drug used in Black, urban areas. Powder
cocaine, on the other hand, is far more expensive than crack and is associated
with wealthy White users.
Roughly
two-thirds of crack cocaine users are White or Hispanic, but 84.5% of
defendants convicted of crack possession in 1994 were Black, while 10.3% were
White and 5.2% were Hispanic.The majority of persons charged with crack
trafficking offenses in the federal system have also been African American
(88.3%).
In
1998-1999, Black Americans consisted of only 15% of all U.S. drug users, yet
they were 36.8% of those arrested for drug violations.In 2000, Blacks were 53%
of those convicted by state courts for drug offenses.

were 8.4% of drivers stopped by police, but 11.7% of those arrested. Whites, on
the other hand, are 77% of stopped drivers but only 66.3% of drivers arrested.
People of color face harsher treatment in court.
Blacks are more likely to be
sentenced to prison for the same crime than Whites. One third of people of
color sentenced to prison would have received a shorter or non-incarcerative
sentence if they had been treated in court the same way as White defendants
facing similar charges.
