Disgraced former Congressman and medical expert Tom DeLay believes the government is lying to us.

DeLay asserted that the Obama administration “cannot seem to get beyond their liberal leanings” and take the steps necessary to keep the disease from entering the United States.

“We can’t believe everything they’re telling us,” DeLay said. “I’ve got so many questions about Ebola and how it’s contracted.”…

“We know nothing,” DeLay said, “so we can’t believe what they’re telling us and certainly we can’t be confident that they’re doing the right thing”:

I’m guessing it’s a misprint, cuz’ handing ebola would be kinda’ stupid.

Just a poorly thought out headline, with ebola spelled wrong, too!

      • mea_mark October 7th, 2014 at 4:43 pm

        Clearly that was mishandled.

          Clearbly!

“We know nothing,” DeLay said…” An entire political party summed up in three words by one of its leading architects!

“I’ve got so many questions about Ebola and how it’s contracted.”…

Ask a scientist. You’ll get answers just as you would if you asked about climate science and evolution. Oh wait…

Yeah, they get all sciencey on you and stuff.

            That’s the worst part!

This coming from republicans in Texas that don’t want to expand medicaid so more people can get into to see a doctor to help stop the spread of communicable diseases, is nothing but partisan projection of their own faults.

Texas had their shot at doing it right..and then lied to cover up their screwups

It was just one hospital but your basically correct. The whole state isn’t very interested in the problems of its people.

one nurse messed up, but they did lie

Irresponsible GOP defunded HHS, NIH and all other agencies to prevent Government from handling Ebola, or anything else to the best of our abilities. This is just like when repubs voted to defund Embassy security before and after 9/11/12, then crowed about it! GOP Rep Chaffetz (R-UT): I ‘Absolutely’ Voted To Cut Funding For Embassy Security-Again on 10/10/2012. http://thinkprogress.org/security/2012/10/10/985191/chaffetz-absolutely-funding-embassy-security/

Oh, God Save Our Bacon! Is Tom Delay still opining?

One would have thought he’d learned his lesson with that huge conviction for taking Indian Casino money (and giving NOTHING back…), and thinking he would never have to pay for it… but I guess that was just the tip of the iceberg of Tom Delay’s ignorance.

“We can’t believe everything they’re telling us,” DeLay said. I’ve got so many questions about Ebola and how it’s contracted. We know nothing,” DeLay said, so we can’t believe what they’re telling us and certainly we can’t be confident that they’re doing the right thing.”

    “We know nothing.”

But WHOSE FAULT IS THAT, TOM? Clue: YOURS all the way, because the facts are both SIMPLE, and COMMONLY AVAILABLE. If you don’t know the facts, it can ONLY be because you are terminally STU-PID. In fact, you must be MILITANTLY STU-PID, because ONLY someone TRYING to remain ignorant, would be in your shoes today.

This should be lesson one, in how to panic simpletons…
