Supporters of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, who shot and killed unarmed teenager Michael Brown, are selling t-shirts to wear at the St. Louis Cardinals game.

According to Raw Story, “Go Cards’ is hand-painted on the front and “Darren Wilson 6″ on the back, the latter of which is a military expression meaning “I’ve got your back.”

[su_center_ad]As it happens, Michael Brown was shot 6 times.

The ‘We are Darren Wilson’ Facebook page states:

*GAME SHIRTS* *WRISTBANDS* Pick up a game shirt to support Darren Wilson (thanks for the inspiration Dan Ride!), available Saturday at Barney’s Sports Pub, 6027 Chippewa St, St Louis, MO 63109 (open at 11AM Fri-Sun)! Shirts are $20, local availability only. Wristbands are available NOW for $5 (non-local folks inside the contiguous U.S. states only, mail a check for $10 addressed to Darren Wilson to the same location & put in the memo WEAREDARRENWILSON wristband). Please note: We’re hand-painting the shirts with stencils. If a local supporter has access to a screen printer or shirt company with immediate availability to print these more efficiently, let us know (we already have the shirts)! Please comment below if you know you’ll be coming by for one and tell us what size(s)! If you’re not going to the game, watch with fellow supporters at Barney’s!

Wilson supporters are selling the t-shirts for $10, and wristbands cost $5.00. The checks are to be made payable to ‘Darren Wilson.’

On Monday night, Cardinals fans were caught on video clashing with Ferguson protesters outside Busch Stadium, with some hurling racist rhetoric. [su_csky_ad]

Both the Cardinals and those tacky tee-shirts leave a bad taste in my mouth.

To right-wingers, anybody who kills an unarmed Black teenager is a hero.

They haven’t changed much since the days of lynch mobs.

    • arc99 October 10th, 2014 at 10:26 pm

Excellent observation. Remember Ruby Ridge and Randy Weaver? He chose to use deadly force to resist law enforcement. His wife was killed by law enforcement. Weaver became a hero to right wingers.

Same with David Koresh at Waco. He chose deadly force. Koresh and his followers became martyrs for right wingers.

But when law enforcement kills a black person, the deceased was obviously a criminal who had it coming.

Hard to escape the conclusion that right wingers will condone and justify criminal behavior, as long as the accused has white skin.

thanks for bringing it home. nicely said.

  3. mea_mark October 10th, 2014 at 8:30 pm

What are they doing? It’s like they are celebrating the gunning down of a black teenager. This is getting really sick.

    • whatthe46 October 10th, 2014 at 8:37 pm

here’s wishful thinking. the game should be canceled by the teams and refund everyones money. don’t condone racism and the death of a kid.

      • Mainah October 10th, 2014 at 8:42 pm

        Now that would be awesome!

        • whatthe46 October 10th, 2014 at 9:45 pm

and do it at the last minute.

    • M D Reese October 10th, 2014 at 11:30 pm

That is exactly what they are doing. Back in the 50s it would have been a hanging.

  4. whatthe46 October 10th, 2014 at 8:35 pm

ok conservative, racist, republican (some), christian fk’s, the world is watching. and you are a complete embarrassment to this country.

    • KABoink_after_wingnut_hacker October 10th, 2014 at 9:30 pm

      Wait a minute:….. “republican (some)”?
These well funded hateful bigots get no sympathy from me.
They always want to bomb people and claim they’re pro-life. They restrict voting rights of Americans, they hate minorities, detest immigrants, dismiss people of color, ignore women who need reproductive healthcare and they deny citizens who want affordable healthcare.
It’s not (some)….it’s ALL those who buy into republican the delirium .

      • whatthe46 October 10th, 2014 at 9:38 pm

well, i have a friend, sweetheart, white and republican and delusional most times, but racist, she’s not.

      • Jake October 10th, 2014 at 9:42 pm

Isn’t Oh-bummer bombing people right now?

        • whatthe46 October 10th, 2014 at 10:06 pm

isn’t the president trying to clean up the mess that mr. uneducated started with a lie?

          • Jake October 10th, 2014 at 10:13 pm

In a way I guess. Mainly he is cleaning up for pulling out before Iraq was really ready to take over for itself, they left a vacuum which was filled by ISIS. But I’m not fan of Bush either, so blame them both IMHO. I could have picked out many points of mr. hacker’s bs post to take issue with, this was just the easiest.

          • whatthe46 October 10th, 2014 at 10:36 pm

you do realize we’re still there don’t you.

          • Jake October 10th, 2014 at 10:38 pm

Wikipedia: “President Barack Obama paid tribute to the troops who served in Iraq on 14 December 2011, at the Fort Bragg military base in North Carolina. As the last of the American troops prepared to exit Iraq, he said the United States was leaving behind a “sovereign, stable and self-reliant” Iraq.[37] On 15 December, an American military ceremony was held in Baghdad putting a formal end to the U.S mission in Iraq.[38][39][40] The last 500 soldiers left Iraq on the morning of 18 December 2011.[1][2][3][4][5][6] At the time of withdrawal, the United States had one remaining soldier, Staff Sergeant Ahmed K. Altaie, still missing in Iraq since 23 October 2006, and had offered a $50,000 reward for his recovery.[41] On 26 February 2012, his death was confirmed.[42][43][44]”

          • whatthe46 October 10th, 2014 at 11:21 pm

do you really think that after storming into their country committing murder on the innocent, they would just forget about what was done? none of this, no matter how you try or anyone for that matter, to spend this, this can never be visited upon Obama.

          • Jake October 10th, 2014 at 11:22 pm

Yes, your fearless leader can do no wrong, got it.

          • whatthe46 October 10th, 2014 at 11:56 pm

he’s human and not above making mistakes, but this was not his doing. PERIOD.

          • Jake October 11th, 2014 at 12:01 am

I’m not so sure, but at least you’re not calling me names. So thank you for an intelligent conservation.

          • whatthe46 October 11th, 2014 at 12:33 am

            no problem.

          • M D Reese October 10th, 2014 at 11:28 pm

Actually we pulled out as scheduled by the Bush Admin. Iraq did not want us to stay.

          • Jake October 10th, 2014 at 11:37 pm

After a little bit of goggling, this at least appears half true. Although there are other perspectives.

          • M D Reese October 11th, 2014 at 3:16 pm

Well of course there are other perspectives…Alex Jones and the Aluminati, Pat Robertson and god’s wrath for gay rignts…But the truth is that Bush had scheduled it, and Iraq didn’t want us to stay. It really doesn’t matter what other “perspectives” there might be. Facts are facts–not opinions.

            (“goggling”?)

          • Jake October 11th, 2014 at 3:24 pm

Google-ing obviously, man, you guys pick out typos like your life depends on it. And it also doesn’t mean your perspective is correct.

          • M D Reese October 11th, 2014 at 4:01 pm

So proof-read, why don’t you? And you still don’t get it. Perspectives are not facts. Facts are correct.
By the way, it’s “googling”. You can actually google it.

          • Jake October 11th, 2014 at 4:34 pm

But your not saying facts, your offering a perspective. You can’t verify any of that. I read both sides. I can honestly say, both have points, neither of was conclusive that Iraq wanted us out and wouldn’t take any compromise, or that the 2011 date was set in stone. And grow up, Its an internet comments section, I’m not going to thoroughly proof read every post, and from the many other grammatical and spelling mistakes I see, neither does anyone else.. For example, there is no hyphen in proofread.

          • M D Reese October 11th, 2014 at 5:01 pm

There you go! You used your google!

          • Anomaly 100 October 11th, 2014 at 6:19 pm

If you’re going to correct other people’s grammar, check your own first.

            “You’re. And *It’s

          • Jake October 11th, 2014 at 6:33 pm

OMG, circular logic here, i just said I don’t proofread my messages, why the heck should I really care enough, and I was just pointing out that clearly other people don’t either.

          • Anomaly 100 October 11th, 2014 at 6:19 pm

            Wrong: *Googling

          • Jake October 11th, 2014 at 6:39 pm

            Who cares, really?

          • KABoink_after_wingnut_hacker October 10th, 2014 at 10:58 pm

            In a word…Yes.

          • Jake October 10th, 2014 at 10:44 pm

I’m not a racist, never have been, never will be, thanks for stereotyping (ironically).

          • tracey marie October 10th, 2014 at 10:48 pm

            sure you are, shoo

          • Jake October 10th, 2014 at 10:50 pm

How am I? Is your only argument to insult me? That’s not making much of a point.

          • Skydog2 October 11th, 2014 at 12:00 am

            That’s all she does.

            you lie

          • Jake October 10th, 2014 at 11:12 pm

            Touche, good point.

          • mea_mark October 11th, 2014 at 12:16 pm

Your words make you sound like one though. If you don’t want to be called one, choose your words more carefully.

          • Jake October 11th, 2014 at 12:54 pm

            Really, which ones?

        • jasperjava October 11th, 2014 at 12:05 am

Calling the President “Oh-bummer”, but you’re not a racist. Right.

As for “leaving a vacuum”, that was done when Dubya deposed Saddam and Rumsfeld decided to demobilize the Iraqi army, instead of using them to maintain order. Not all army units were hardcore Ba’athists, but Rumsfeld didn’t know or care. Instead, he released thousands of armed men without a job or hope of a job, bitter at losing their role. No wonder the decade-long insurrection started immediately after.

          • Jake October 11th, 2014 at 4:37 pm

That’s in no way racist. How dumb are you.

          • jasperjava October 11th, 2014 at 8:28 pm

It shows a lack of respect for the duly-elected President of the United States. I can only assume that your hatred is based on something ignorant and irrational, since that’s all conservatives are capable of.

          • Jake October 11th, 2014 at 8:32 pm

Like liberals ever showed Bush respect, and there you go stereotyping again, hypocrite, on both accounts.

          • jasperjava October 11th, 2014 at 8:45 pm

            As if B*$h deserves respect.

            I did specify “duly-elected”.

          • Jake October 11th, 2014 at 8:59 pm

Ok, hypocrite. So you can say whatever you want about the president you don’t like, but I make mild joke about the one you like, and I’m a racist. Even though the joke had nothing to do with his race.

          • jasperjava October 11th, 2014 at 9:02 pm

In my experience, people who hate President Obama do so out of hate, ignorance, and fear.

You should thank me for helping you understand yourself better.

          • Jake October 11th, 2014 at 9:07 pm

Wow, you’re an idiot. Basically anyone who doesn’t have the same opinion as you must be filled with hate, ignorance and fear. Because your opinion is obviously the gold standard for opinions. How’s that god complex treating you?

          • jasperjava October 11th, 2014 at 10:08 pm

I’m quite sure I’m right about what I believe, and your immature reaction confirms it. Thank you.

          • Jake October 11th, 2014 at 10:16 pm

            Ok, whatever floats your boat.

        • Mainah October 11th, 2014 at 10:04 am

Isn’t that what the Republican’s in the House wanted? I recall them all screeching how we should’ve bombed Syria, armed Syrian rebels when the uprising first started. So, what’s your point?
The ‘faux’ cowboy President created this mess by going into Iraq. Iraq being the natural enemy of Iran. You know that whole Sunni-Shiite control thing. Now, the ones who practice Sharia law have no one to keep them in check. It’s not our job to tell other people what to do with their countries. If the world, as a whole, wish to help these people because they asked for it, great. Other than that, it makes us look like we are forcing our will onto a sovereign Nation.

  5. M D Reese October 10th, 2014 at 8:38 pm

I’ll bet that the teams are just tickled pink to be in the middle of this.

    • whatthe46 October 10th, 2014 at 8:55 pm

sad part is you’re likely spot on.

  6. Mainah October 10th, 2014 at 8:39 pm

That’s really disgusting. Why are they raising money for this guy? I mean, he’s union. I’m sure he has a union rep. What about the family who had to bury their boy? What about healing the wounds in your own community? Where has common sense and decency gone and when will they be back?

    • tracey marie October 10th, 2014 at 10:41 pm

This is a white supremacists behavior, taunt, enflame a situation, subtly threaten violence then feign innocence when things escalate.

      • whatthe46 October 10th, 2014 at 11:18 pm

and to think, they are raising more of them.

      • Mainah October 11th, 2014 at 9:42 am

I don’t really see a lot of racism where I live. I’ve seen one instance when I went back to college where a woman, older than me, was attempting to intimidate a young girl who was muslim. She was from Somalia and was very sweet. I followed that woman when she went out for a smoke and I “educated” her. (non violently but let’s just say I’ve been told that when I’m angry … I frighten people. That came from a guy. It’s an Irish gift/curse) She decided she needed to switch classes and I enjoyed my time learning about a different culture and the struggles they faced. 3:)

  7. tiredoftea October 10th, 2014 at 8:57 pm

I guess there is another version of white that I was unaware of.

  8. searambler October 10th, 2014 at 10:16 pm

And still, NO ONE has seen or heard from Wilson since the killing. Why is that? And why no updates from the Ferguson PD on their “investigation” into the killing? It’s been what, two months now? Do those idiots in Ferguson think this will all blow away if they just stay silent and keep Wilson hidden (with pay, I’m sure)?

  9. Snick1946 October 10th, 2014 at 11:18 pm

I am no longer wearing my Cardinals cap or jacket these days. I think this is disgusting and the Cards front office needs to distance themselves from these racists. But, they won’t.

    • Skydog2 October 11th, 2014 at 3:02 am

Have the Cardinals organization supported or endorsed this movement?

      • Snick1946 October 11th, 2014 at 9:53 am

No- but they sure haven’t discouraged it, have they? All they need to do is issue a press release disavowing any connection between their organization and these local groups supporting Wilson. The silence on their part is deafening and to my mind implies they’ve decided not to offend the white bigots in their fan base.

        • Carla Akins October 11th, 2014 at 10:19 am

As a MO resident and a die-hard Royals fan I’d be burning my Cards gear anyway – but the Cards did make a statement by forcing the group to remove the Cards name and logo as well as the “6” from the shirt. I really dislike Dewitt but I would not expect him to make a public statement on Ferguson, his responsibility is to the team.

          • Snick1946 October 11th, 2014 at 10:29 am

OK you may be ahead of me here, that is at least something. What I dislike is what looks like an attempt to tie in support for the team in the playoffs to some sort of statement of support for the police and Wilson. That is clearly not Cardinal corporate policy- I was just saying they need to maybe be a little more proactive in distancing from it. I have to hope they bomb in the rest of the playoffs, St Louis is really not ready for all the attention a World Series slot would bring the city.

          • Carla Akins October 11th, 2014 at 10:35 am

One would hope, but there is no way the head office, or even anyone on the team could make a public statement either way without it becoming a nightmare. Right now the economics of bringing more pennant games and hopefully the World Series to the city and the team are their biggest priority.

  10. Skydog2 October 10th, 2014 at 11:59 pm

So much vile racism below. Wilson has neither been charged or convicted.

    • jasperjava October 11th, 2014 at 12:14 am

“Wilson has neither been charged or convicted.”
And that in itself is evidence of racism.

You have some nerve calling other people racists, after all the bigoted white supremacist posts you have made here. You even went so far as to make White Power declarations of being proud of being white. You never miss an opportunity to express your contempt towards African-Americans.

Your bigotry extends towards women, gays, and old people. Basically you’re just another hateful ignorant right-winger.

      • whatthe46 October 11th, 2014 at 12:23 am

all of that went over his ignorant head.

        • Obewon October 11th, 2014 at 3:39 am

You can say that again! Woosh——^!

      • Skydog2 October 11th, 2014 at 2:11 am

I’m proud of my heritage but never said anything about white power, superiority, or anything negative about other races.

I don’t have contempt towards African-Americans, I have contempt towards you and your constant, ignorant cries of racism.

        • Obewon October 11th, 2014 at 3:17 am

Skydog2 feigns ignorance of his racist posts including ‘White people built America. Enjoy it.’ As a Native American you’re full of crap. You’re ignorant of the many African American Slaves kidnapped, raped, beaten, tortured & murdered for merely being caught reading a Bible! Not to mention Jim Crow Voter Disenfranchisement. Are you from the South? Where? Do you pledge allegiance to the Dixie Swastika?

        • jasperjava October 11th, 2014 at 9:17 am

You said that America was built by whites but that other people “helped”. At best, that shows a distorted understanding of history; at worst, a white supremacist tendency.

    • jasperjava October 11th, 2014 at 12:47 am

Even if you have such a narrow view of the facts that you think there may have been some justifiable reason for Wilson to shoot Brown (though you have to be pretty prejudiced to think that you need six bullets to stop a teenager), that doesn’t make Wilson a hero. This is a tragedy. Michael Brown died from Wilson emptying his weapon into him. It’s not something to celebrate. Only white supremacist Klansmen would be happy of the outcome of that day in Ferguson. Yet here you have all these racists celebrating Micheal Brown’s death, and treating Wilson like a hero.

Of course, you see nothing wrong with that. If Black people are shot in the street like dogs, you take pleasure and satisfaction from that. That much is obvious.

      • Skydog2 October 11th, 2014 at 2:12 am

I don’t know claim to know the facts; I only want justice.

You “think” you know the facts and have determined the white man is guilty. You call anyone who disagrees with your delusion a racist.

        • whatthe46 October 11th, 2014 at 3:24 am

because you are. not once did you disagree with what they are doing. its because you condone stupidiy.

    • Candide Thirtythree October 11th, 2014 at 3:32 am

You are the only racist that I have seen on this thread…are you getting your jollies off trolling this site? Keep both hands on the keyboard at all times!!!

    • Mainah October 11th, 2014 at 9:46 am

Racism would be saying he’s inferior because of his color. What people are saying is “Where is the justice?” There’s a huge difference. Super huge

      Here, this will help you:

      rac·ism

      ˈrāˌsizəm/

      noun

      noun: racism

the belief that all members of each race possess characteristics or abilities specific to that race, especially so as to distinguish it as inferior or superior to another race or races.

prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race based on the belief that one’s own race is superior.

      “a program to combat racism”

synonyms:racial discrimination, racialism, racial prejudice, xenophobia, chauvinism, bigotry, casteism

“Aborigines are the main victims of racism in Australia”

    • Mainah October 11th, 2014 at 9:53 am

OH, and that’s because the Prosecutor is presenting it to a grand jury. The FBI is still in the process of finishing their investigation. So, that would be a “not yet charged.”

We just bought a farm in Pueblo county. Our daughter is an epidemiologist and she will be working in Pueblo when she is done at the NIH so we all decided to move so our family can stay together. Kinda had to choose according to her commute since the rest of us can work just about anywhere.

What is it like down that way? I haven’t been yet, hubby and son-in-law went, the rest of us directed from satellite lol!

            Aw, thanks a bunch.

My husband’s grandmother was Blackfoot, her family were farmers, she married a farmer, my husband lived on the farm with them when he was little so our son is totally engrossed with his Indian and farming heritage. I will be sure to pass on that information to him.

I am NOT happy about the GOP rep but I guess it could not be as bad as having Diaper Dave Vitter for a senator LOL!

The Ku Klux Klan raised $1,000+ for Summary Executioner Darren Wilson’s 11 shots killing unarmed teenage jaywalker Michael Brown. Hours of video, etc displayed 00.00% evidence of any injury to the Ferguson police officer, who has a racially tainted past.

    • Skydog2 October 11th, 2014 at 2:27 am

You and Malik Shabazz don’t need a trial and a fair review of the evidence, you’ve already determined Wilson is guilty.

      “Summary Executioner?”
      Careful, your non-bias is showing.

      • Obewon October 11th, 2014 at 8:52 pm

What do you call killing an unarmed teenage jaywalker R.J? I have a great respect for you & your opinions:)

        1. Why no PD report filed as required?
        2. Why did the Wilson’s ‘Friend’ claim injuries that he couldn’t backup?
Strike 3. Why do hours of video, etc prove 00.00% injuries to Wilson?

All good points. Which makes a good case for having a beef against the department, for mishandling the situation. It’s been too long, people have been allowed to speculate, and now there are entrenched factions. When a court makes a decision now, rational people will say, “Okay, so that’s what happened.” But no matter the decision, the losing side (whoever that is) will claim tampering, falsification, and anything else they have to to continue to support the position they adopted while being in the same state we’re all in: That we don’t know anything.
Meanwhile, now police can’t even fight back against armed criminals, in violation of parole and house arrest, without people setting the streets on fire.

That’s rather extreme. It isn’t just the department as you put it, because all cops of that precinct make up that department. Not to mention the issue of racism in his career in Missouri. The fact that this boy was shot that many times when people saw his hand up … is an execution. There was no evidence of a beating. And as you summarily put it “it’s been too long that people have been allowed to speculate” … really? Look at Trayvon Martin, he was a victim of speculation. Speculation that somehow a teenager was associated with MMA style fighting and that somehow warranted a full grown man to stalk him then shoot the boy who did what any child would .. defend themselves only to be shot. Look at the way they bashed the only witness right before his death because she’s Creole. Your argument stinks. Mod or not, you’re wrong.

I’m wrong for choosing to wait for the grand jury’s decision? Or because I choose to use the word “department” as shorthand for the Ferguson PD chief?

          • Mainah October 12th, 2014 at 8:10 pm

I think you’re wrong in saying that people “have speculated for far too long” as if they don’t have a right to do so and when he has a track record. As for you stating that was shorthand for the Chief, how am I suppose to know that? You said people have a right to have a beef with the department but not the cop and
that’s wrong. People are entitled to have a beef with both and do. As for police now being unable to do their jobs because of protestors? That sounds rather extreme. Of course, being met with a militarized police force was a bit much and certainly wasn’t trying to deescalate anything.

          • Obewon October 11th, 2014 at 9:59 pm

It has been too long: Aug-Nov will be 4 months. ‘Their Grand Jury’ refuses to rule until November! It appears they’re unwilling to indict and prosecute Wilson. Midterm election woes? I’ll rest my case when AG Holder’s DOJ/FBI Justice Department rests both of their cases.

Of course all right wingers will support a white cop murdering a black man in cold blood.
