The following images are Open Carry activists expressing their support for Kroger after the massive chain store refused to implement a gun policy. The first image was posted on Kroger’s Facebook page by Ladd Everitt, who expressed his displeasure with one of the store’s supporters, who appears to be a gangsta’ with a gun. Kroger responded that the language in the image is considered “malicious” and “inappropriate” yet this man is welcome to shop in their stores with a long gun strapped to his back.

Kroger, if you think that image is offensive, imagine how shoppers feel seeing these armed gangs walking up and down the aisles.

This is Glenn. One of his friends may or may not be an ISIS militant – it’s hard to tell.

Meet Joshua.

Andy thanks you, Kroger.

This is how one Open Carry activist shops for flowers for his wife.

Barry calls gun sense activists ‘thugs’. Spot the irony:

I stopped shopping at Kroger mainly because I’m of the notion that a store should value their customers. Also, I don’t like to feel intimidated while I’m out picking up groceries for the week. It should be a simple process, just like it’s always been, until Open Carry activists decided to invade family-friendly establishments simply to make a political point.

We previously posted images of a message from the NRA and others from its supporters reacting to Kroger disregard for implementing a sensible gun policy. What they really wanted to do is stick it to Moms Demand Action because they see a group of women as a threat.

Big thanks to my friend out there for sending me the images.

All images were obtained on social media, circulated by the group/people, thereby making them fair use. [su_csky_ad]

They have to carry big manly weapons in the supermarket, because you never know when someone is going to come at you in the produce department armed with a piece of fresh fruit.

What’s with Glenn’s knee pads? He’s proud and always ready to serve his gun toting buddies?

    • Larry Schmitt October 13th, 2014 at 8:15 pm

I laughed out loud at that one. (I never lol)

    • Jake October 13th, 2014 at 8:40 pm

      Oddly homophobic of you.

      • tiredoftea October 13th, 2014 at 8:48 pm

        Just acutely observant.

        • Jake October 13th, 2014 at 8:52 pm

          Not exactly.

          • tiredoftea October 13th, 2014 at 9:06 pm

Awww, you wanted them and you’re jealous, how cute!

          • Jake October 13th, 2014 at 9:08 pm

Is all you people do is insult? If not it’s definitely your primary tactic for sure.

          • Carla Akins October 13th, 2014 at 9:14 pm

“Oddly homophobic of you is not an insult? Google – projection.

          • Jake October 13th, 2014 at 9:21 pm

            Nope, that’s called an observation.

          • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 9:27 pm

Well, how is what he said homophobic? The man may be gay and may just like multiple partners.

          • Jake October 13th, 2014 at 9:34 pm

Calling someone gay as an insult would imply that being gay is bad. Therefore homophobic. Pretty simple.

          • Carla Akins October 13th, 2014 at 9:39 pm

Glenn offered the “swat style” manly man picture with his comment. He can take the mocking for his point.

          • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 9:46 pm

What? How was he calling him gay as an insult? You probably would have had an argument if you said he was calling him promiscuous. That’s an insult. But making a comment that the man may be gay is not an insult. Maybe in your world. So, no not that simple.

          • Jake October 13th, 2014 at 10:22 pm

He was clearly using it as an insult.

          • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 10:27 pm

Again, the only insult would be that his insinuation of being promiscuous. The man may very well be gay. “He’s proud and ready to serve his gun toting buddies” Show me how that’s an insult to gays.

          • Jake October 13th, 2014 at 10:32 pm

It’s an insult because he is using it to demean him (and to say otherwise is laughable), which would imply that being gay is demeaning.

          • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 10:33 pm

I disagree. Again, the only insult would be that he’s promiscuous. The man very well may be gay.

          • Jake October 13th, 2014 at 10:35 pm

Fine, I agree to disagree with you. I have nothing more to add.

          • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 10:37 pm

Okay. Nice to meet you Jake. Hope you enjoy it here!

          • Carla Akins October 13th, 2014 at 9:35 pm

Hmm, my observation that is not a truthful statement. Are you here to insult readers or do you have an opposing opinion to offer?

          • Jake October 13th, 2014 at 9:46 pm

I explained my logic below it is sound.

          • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 9:47 pm

Um no. I just tore it up. See below.

            Respond at your own risk.

          • Jake October 13th, 2014 at 9:35 pm

Valid point, not troll bait, although from only knowing about this site for 4 days you stand out as particularly arrogant.

          • Carla Akins October 13th, 2014 at 9:42 pm

We value civil opposing opinion. However, we do not tolerate trolling accompanied by insults to our regular readers. This is a private site and you are allowed to post here at our discretion. You may add something of value, even as an opposing point but you will be gone if you continue to insult other readers.

          • Jake October 13th, 2014 at 10:40 pm

Fair enough, I did not come here to troll, I simply stumbled upon this site by accident and was moved to post from the comments that stereotyped all conservatives and dumb racists. While I don’t identify with the republican party (nor the democrats), I found this categorical casting of roughly half national populous rather offensive.

I have already reviewed his other social media accounts, and as a result he has been warned but he is welcome here to post a civil debate with no name calling.

          • StoneyCurtisll October 13th, 2014 at 9:51 pm

You have a calmness about you that I admire…
            Thanks for being you…:)

          • Carla Akins October 13th, 2014 at 9:54 pm

AH thanks. Just don’t ask any of the other mods about “Angry Carla”. They’re all lying, I never did/said any of those things. πŸ™‚

          • tiredoftea October 13th, 2014 at 10:43 pm

            Oh, Carla!

        • Jake October 13th, 2014 at 10:23 pm

I have nothing to hide. Doesn’t change anything I have said.

          • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 10:30 pm

We check due to bad trolling experiences. Really deranged troll that would write extremely pornographic and violent posts and then stole people’s avatars and profile names to post such things. It just gives a person an idea of the other poster. Cute kid by the way. I leave my profile open but I do not link my social media to my Disqus profile. But you may want to think about not having it linked. There are some really unstable people that do troll the threads.

          • Jake October 13th, 2014 at 10:46 pm

Thanks, I’ve got a younger one not as prominently featured at the moment and 3rd on the way (yes the conservatives are multiplying). And before now I did not realize disqus linked to my facebook, good to know.

          • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 10:51 pm

Congratulations! I’m an indie mom of two and when it comes to internet safety. I’m all over it. I mean, it’s up to you but just from what I’ve experienced … you may not want you fb page where anyone can look at it.

          • jasperjava October 14th, 2014 at 12:16 am

            (yes the conservatives are multiplying)

I hope for your children’s sake that they don’t grow up to be conservative. What a miserable existence, to be ignorant and hateful all the time.

i know from personal experience that it doesn’t have to be that way. My Dad was a typical conservative, an ignorant hateful racist anti-semite. Thankfully, his two sons turned out liberal, and his daughter is an apolitical Christian.

Not all conservatives are that awful, but one look at the kind of clowns represented in the post above, and surely you wouldn’t wish that on your own children.

          • Jake October 14th, 2014 at 6:08 am

That is not a typical conservative.

          • jasperjava October 14th, 2014 at 2:56 pm

Doesn’t matter if shmucks like this are “typical”. Without their support, the conservative movement would collapse, and Republicans would never get elected.

They are the low-IQ low-information voters that the Republican Party depends on for electoral success. They can’t win with just the votes of millionaires and billionaires, so they have to dupe a whole bunch of gullible right-wingers.

          • Jake October 14th, 2014 at 3:21 pm

Don’t pretend there are millions of low information liberal voters too. You know like the ones who thought Obama was going to pay their mortgage. There are morons on both sides.

if kroger isn’t regreting this, they are just as clueless. i hope they lose soooo much money.

    • Jake October 13th, 2014 at 8:45 pm

Most people I don’t think care as much as this group of extremists on this site. Although from previous interactions, you’re not as bad as some others. Personally, I think open carry is a bit tacky, wouldn’t care if they banned open carry (like Walmart). But conceal carry all the way.

      • Anomaly 100 October 13th, 2014 at 9:15 pm

Concealed carry doesn’t’ bother me as much as Open Carry. The latter I take issue with for many reasons.

  4. StoneyCurtisll October 13th, 2014 at 8:29 pm

Is this the right way to Kroger?

  5. Carla Akins October 13th, 2014 at 8:35 pm

Exactly what is wrong with Ladd Everett’s post that violates TOS? Wilheimer John Jacob Jingleheimer Whatshisfuck places a bounty on Obama’s head, but FB has an issue with Everett’s post?

    • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 8:42 pm

      That’s what I couldn’t figure out either. And what images? I don’t understand but I don’t have to worry. We don’t have a Kroger’s.

    • Larry Schmitt October 13th, 2014 at 8:43 pm

This is good for a real laugh. Michael Hollingsworth, the clown who showed the money he will be spending at Kroger because they let him carry his toys, objected to Everett posting his picture because he’s “defamating” his character. And for the record, it was Kroger, not facebook, that objected to Everett’s post.

      • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 8:47 pm

Is it the picture of the guy with a long rifle? I don’t get what image their referring to and what language? I can only speculate by what the Hollingsworth guy posts stating that’s his pic and is whining he doesn’t want it posted. (Well, by posting it to his own page … derp.) I don’t know how that’s defamation but I am finding that people don’t understand the law and how it works quite often.

        • StoneyCurtisll October 13th, 2014 at 9:04 pm

          Rule number one…
Don’t post pictures of yourself on the internet if you dont want people to see you on the internet~!
Even if it takes a couple of clicks to find it!

          • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 9:11 pm

Exactly. I just love it when people are newbie trolls and they have all their social media linked to their profile. 3:)

    • StoneyCurtisll October 13th, 2014 at 8:59 pm

I think what Ladd Everett did was post a picture from Michael Hollinsworth Facebook page.. and expose the fool he, (Hollinsworth) is with his own publicly posted link..

The same thing got me booted from MMfA..
Idiot trolls would post nasty comments, under the assumption they were anonymous individuals..(except some of their profiles had a link to Facebook)
I posted the link to Facebook that they provided in their profile.
After years of being a regular there, they booted me.. (but not the nasty trolls)
      Go figure..

      • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 9:07 pm

Oh, you busted Filth Troll? That was a nasty piece of work that one was. Stealing other people’s avatars too!
Yeah, well … I got booted too, but I have no idea why. All my comments disappear and I will see Spam on my feed next to my comments. So, either I’m booted or someone is just flagging me. I sent them a message but never heard back. I won’t be going back. I won’t play the sock puppet game. I’ll watch the muppets but I don’t want to become one. πŸ™‚

        • StoneyCurtisll October 13th, 2014 at 9:10 pm

He was just one of them..(filth troll)
          AKA Andy..
Lets wear our “boot” like a badge of honor..
And be thankful he dont have to deal with the foolishness anymore.

          • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 9:16 pm

Indeed! I found Conegro. He got booted too for defending himself against a racist. He had great posts. Shame really. But I’m happy here. I also go over to Mediaite sometimes and Crooks and Liars. It seems like anytime Mediaite posts something on the President they get swamped with those suffering from Obama/Democrat derangement syndrome.

          • StoneyCurtisll October 13th, 2014 at 9:21 pm

            I remember brother Con..(Conegro)
He had the Bootsie Collins avatar..
A lot of good people used to be there, some left on their own. others were run off by trolls..
            I have settled in here..
Good people and the pace is slower..
And the best part is, they have moderators on duty~!

          • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 9:25 pm

He’s around! And still uses his name! There are indeed and I like the interaction with the mods. Highrightnow told me about Freak Out Nation and they merged here. I am glad he told me. I was ready to give up. I just want to discuss the issues without being harassed constantly. Good to see you Stoney!

Miss both you and Mainah over there.

Hope all is well with you.

The biggest problem at MMfA are the troll enablers…if they’d quit responding to them, the attention wh*res would go eventually go away.

ps…who’s that in your avatar? ya know I always ask…

          • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 9:37 pm

          • Mainah October 14th, 2014 at 12:31 pm

They have fb pages to attack them? I guess we know whose worried then.

I just found this site today because someone put a link on Raw Story. If you like Mediaite, you would probably like Raw Story. I now spend almost all my time online there. I check the headlines on Mediaite, and will post occasionally, but find it raises my blood pressure too much. Raw Story is very mellow and has smart, funny posters. A lot of them seem to know each other and are “clannish”, but maybe they will like me too, someday! Anyway, I will be back here too. I prefer the liberal point of view you all seem to have. πŸ™‚

          • Mainah October 14th, 2014 at 12:20 pm

Oh yeah, I have Raw Story on my feed. We all aren’t liberals here, though. I’m an indie, there are conservatives, progressives and I’m sure other parts of the political spectrum. Nice to meet you Julie! I think you’ll like it here and the people are nice and funny. Opposing opinions are kept decent which adds to a great discussion and mods that are active in the community!

People will leave and start shopping even more at HEB stores. I know I have informed my store that if they allow open carry like this I will no longer shop there. I spend a minimum of 600 monthly and I am considered an elite customer with many perks and discounts.

      • forpeace October 13th, 2014 at 9:02 pm

Good for you, tracey, you are doing the right thing.

      • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 9:09 pm

You get perks? Oh my word! I spend more than that! My teen has a bottomless pit for a stomach. Sadness but at least I never see anyone toting guns in the store.

        • tracey marie October 13th, 2014 at 9:15 pm

I have not at the store I go to. Did you sign up for their discount card? I shop for 2 adults, If i had a teen kid I would have twice the bill.

          • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 9:21 pm

No. I don’t know if they have one. I guess I should ask. My youngest consumes fruit like there’s no tomorrow. I guess I should be glad about that but I could only imagine going in to the store with him, and have some nuts shopping with AR-15’s. My boy is on the Autism Spectrum, PDD-NOS. I know what he would say, “Mommy? What is wrong with that man? It isn’t a hunting rifle and it isn’t hunting season yet? Maybe you should tell him so he doesn’t get anyone hurt.” He’s very observant and straight to the point.
I don’t have an issue with people having guns but I shouldn’t have to be concerned if “Rambo” is stable. Or, if there is a situation, they don’t shoot up the place.

          • tracey marie October 13th, 2014 at 9:30 pm

All krogers have the kroger card. They run weekly specials that card holders get discounts on. They send coupons for discounts and free items that match your shopping habits. your son sounds like a smart young man.

          • Mainah October 13th, 2014 at 9:36 pm

For a nine year old, he amazes me often. We don’t have a Kroger’s here but I wouldn’t want one knowing that they are ok with people shopping for food armed to the teeth. Why can’t they conceal carry? What is wrong with that? Carrying your gun on your hip isn’t real smart. You don’t want a perp to follow you, pop you in the back off the head and take the really expensive sidearm from the holster. It’s just stupid. It’s like the people from away who drive their really fancy low setting cars up here in the spring which is frost heave season. BAAHAAHAAHAAAHAA!!!!!

To conceal carry, they would have to pass a test and a background check in most states. I think that tells me all I need to know about “open carry”…

They don’t even have Kroger stores around here and I still want to boycott them!

These guys could save a ton of money by simply walking around Kroger wearing signs that say “Hung Like A Gnat And Proud Of It!”

    • tracey marie October 13th, 2014 at 9:03 pm

      good one sea

  8. searambler October 13th, 2014 at 9:01 pm

Where is the Kroger that these guys shop in? Somalia?

    • forpeace October 13th, 2014 at 9:02 pm

      Good one! LOL

    • arggggg! October 13th, 2014 at 11:02 pm

That is exactly what they WANT! Saw one of the pics from Iraq, just play out the logical conclusions … separate armed factions. Media that never tells the truth (or let’s you decide).

Andy Eff has the most unintelligent and ignorant post!!

Andy Eff it’s funny how people want to restrict the law abiding citizens in this country that take responsibility for their safety and the safety of people around them. People need to wake up and realize it’s not the open carry citizen that shoots up a public place. I truly hope Kroger stands firm in their policies.

I’m proud of NOT having a Facebook account, but this is my message for Mr. Eff:

No Andy, you are delusional, these people are Domestic Terrorist because they are terrorizing others. You need to wake up and get a clue.

I hear (not really FFS), when you sign up to be a “valued customer” or receive email sales notifications at the ammosexual stores, you sign away your rights to recourse if one of their favorite customers shoots you!

      Ah, arbitration. πŸ™‚

    • Mainah October 14th, 2014 at 12:28 pm

But your only valued if you’re alive and spending money. πŸ˜‰

I tend to dress more casually than those chaps and go about my business unarmed, confident in my ability to take care of myself.

    • Serious Starsider October 14th, 2014 at 9:08 am

LOL really? I always pronounce it that way too and thought I was the only one hahaha. Drives my wife crazy but I like it πŸ˜‰

    • Carla Akins October 14th, 2014 at 9:44 am

I shop pretty casually, but I go between 4-5 am. Armed only with a very large coffee.

Poor Laddy Boy Everritt and his minions are really getting desperate.

If you can’t feel safe going grocery shopping without being armed, you don’t need a gun — you need psychiatric help and medication. And maybe one of those Swedish vacuum pumps.
