    This is an attempt to keep what trained iraqi soldiers there are close to the baghdad perimeter to help ensure the t.w.i.t.’s holds don’t get attacked, siphoning off troops from kobani as well as making the t.w.i.t.s travel to the attacked sites(reinforce), exposing them to air hits. If you notice, every time iraqi troops leave to take back something, they get repelled and baghdad bombings go up for a week or so.
