A Georgia man is in a lot of trouble after accidentally texting his probation officer and asking, “You have some weed?”

[su_center_ad]The Probation officer did not answer his question as far as we know, although, we cannot confirm or deny whether he smokes a blunt now and then.

Alvin Cross Junior is going back to prison. He plead guilty Monday to possession of cocaine and was sentenced to one year in prison, according to WALB.

He was also sentenced to serve another year for violating his probation.

Probation officers and drug agents raided Cross’ home and found a bag of cocaine.

You see, if you’re trying to buy weed, that’s exactly what you’re not supposed to do.

As if we needed more proof that very few Nobel Prize candidates come from the ranks of those on probation.

Come on, who among us hasn’t accidently texted our probation officer looking to score some blow, hookers, or clean urine?

Not a probation officer but 1 out of 3 isn’t bad

Strange and so sad. This video really whacked my frame of reference.

Have you seen the movie Frozen? I have a couple of granddaughters ergo I have seen the movie, heard the music, purchased the merchandising, and watched my poor wife make quilts based upon the movie. This parody as well as others fuel my weird inner desire for revenge.

            Revenge how?

Haven’t seen the movie, just read the wiki, it’s a powerful story. I guess this parody sort of brings it up to date. An even more powerful story… still reeling.:)

“No, really Your Honor, I was only asking to see if he did or not. See, if he did, I was going to ask for another probation officer so I would have a better chance at staying away from the stuff…”

With all the stress these pro-drug war cops can put on a person, this young man should appeal for a medical exemption.

Asking someone if they have “weed” isn’t and shouldn’t be a crime….however.
Generally speaking, folks on probation are subject to random search of their person and residence.
That’s when the Duh-oh factor kicked in.

Seems to me Alvin Cross Junior is yet another victim of our Drug War Police State! that targets all young black men.

Probation officers and drug agents raided Cross’ home

At least they didn’t shoot him.

Well… they want to keep those “Private” prisons full… so they are set up to fail. What this guy did wasn’t smart… but even if he hadn’t done that, he still stood a good chance of “violating” his probation somehow… I saw a man being strip searched ‘out in public’ one evening by the Los Gatos Police department… is that even legal?
