[su_right_ad]Idaho Republican State Senator Steve Vick says all marriage licenses should be eliminated if gays can get them. He proclaimed, “If we’re not allowed to determine the standards for a marriage license, then maybe we should just not issue them.”

The senator says these are the kind of things states must consider since the will of the voters is being rejected in the federal courts.

“I believe the only way the Supreme Court will hear it is if a different circuit court rules differently. I haven’t seen that yet, but if another circuit ruled that a state could keep on their books a constitutional amendment or a statute that says marriage should be between one man and one woman, then I think the Supreme Court would have to hear it. Other than that, I think these rulings will probably stand,” said Vick, referring to the high court refusing to hear appeals from multiple states after judges struck down voter-approved constitutional amendments establishing traditional marriage as law.

If Iowa State Sinner (R-IA) Steve Vick were accurate he’d opine: ‘I believe the only way the Supreme Court will rehear equal marriage again is if we overturn the 14th Amendment.’ None of these clowns elevators goes to the top floor anymore.

Haters of this extent, take the adage “Cut one’s nose off…”, to new heights. The GOP sure loves promoting the freedom theme of ‘less government’, until it’s not the lesser government they get.

  13. factswonthurtyou2 October 25th, 2014 at 7:27 am

Not for the same reasons as Vick, I do agree with the elimination of ‘marriage licences’ as they are an antique, needless form of control and ownership………

  14. William October 25th, 2014 at 8:48 am

The Government should get out of the relationship business. Marriage is largely an emotional, spiritual thing. People should be recognized as individuals, not couples. What they do in their personal lives is none of uncle Sams business.

  15. Carla Akins October 25th, 2014 at 9:28 am

Gee, that’s fine but currently, there are all kinds of legal and tax implications that would need to be addressed on the federal level.
