Man Files To Get Strippers’ Addresses So He Can Pray For Them

David Van Vleet filed a request to obtain information about the strippers working at DreamGirls at Fox’s. He explained, “I would pray for those dancers by name. I’m a Christian… We have a right to pray for people.”
And something about trying to “do something for the public good.” Oh, and his assertion that he’s a citizen and he’s entitled to this information under the Constitution.
Van Vleet used the Public Records Act to request the licenses, but an attorney for the strip club said releasing that information would be a violation of employee rights. And a district court judge agreed, issuing a preliminary injunction this week prohibiting the disclosures of the strippers’ personal information.[su_csky_ad]

All the places that I’ve ever worked for had a policy of not giving out employee information. This guy is something else. I wonder if it would be OK with him if we asked the pastor of his church for the names, phone numbers and addresses of all the members of his church.

I never really cared for John Voight, only liked him in a couple of movies, Deliverance and Midnight Cowboy..(I dont like his politics)

If he really prays for them, and there really is a god, and that god actually listens to the prayers, and that god really wants to help them, from everything I learned about god when I was a kid, god doesn’t need their addresses. That’s a lot of ifs.
