Joan Rivers’ Daughter Melissa Filing Multi-Million Dollar Lawsuit
[su_right_ad]Melissa Rivers is filing a wrongful death lawsuit against the clinic Joan Rivers visited and the doctors involved before she passed away.
Melissa Rivers is finalizing paperwork with the Financial District firm Gair, Gair, Conason, Steigman, Mackauf, Bloom & Rubinowitz, the sources said.
The boutique firm, founded in 1919 making it one of the oldest in the city, is highly selective about its caseload and has a reputation for meticulous trial prep.
A rep for Gair declined to comment.
Medical malpractice lawyer Robert Vilensky, who is not involved in the pending Rivers litigation, said he expects Gair to charge the Yorkville Endoscopy clinic and all the doctors involved in treating Joan with not properly monitoring her Propofol, a sedative administered before the procedure. It is the same potent drug that Michael Jackson overdosed on.
Rivers’ official cause of death is “anoxic encephalopathy due to hypoxic arrest during laryngoscopy and upper gastrointestinal endoscopy with propofol sedation.”[su_csky_ad]

I can understand the grief that Mellisa Rivers is going through with the death of here mother Joan at 81 years old…(RIP Joan)
Both Joan and her daughter are multimillionaires.
So I wonder…
What does she stand to gain from the lawsuit?
Mellisa is not going to get her mother back..
And she doesn’t need the money..
And there seems to be no malfeasance on the part of the doctor or the anesthesiologist..
Joan was 81 when she signed the papers to allow her doctor to preform this “elective” procedure.
She knew the risks..
Non of us are going to live forever.

My Mom passed away a couple of years ago. I didn’t like Joan Rivers (because of her hatred toward the Palestinian people) but if I was her daughter, regardless of my net worth, if I thought someone was complicit in her death, I go after them with vigor.
We only get one Mom.
