Man Fatally Shoots Granddaughter, Daughter, Himself In Front Of 10-Year-Old Boy
Stop me if you’ve heard this one before. Seattle police say a man fatally shot his adult daughter and a teenage granddaughter on Monday night at a Seattle home, then killed himself, KOMO News reports.
[su_center_ad]This all too place in front of a 10-year-old boy who was able to call 911 and report the shooting. The boy was not physically injured.
Shortly after 8:00 p.m., the boy called police to say his grandfather had waved a handgun at the two victims before shooting them, according to police.
The boy went on to say his grandfather then turned the gun on himself.
None of the victims were identified but police described the gunman as in his 60s.
Police officials and Mayor Ed Murray rushed to the scene on South Fountain Street, according to KOMO.
Assistant Police Chief Nick Metz said the boy was “shaken up” but unhurt.
The 10-year-old boy was placed in the care of his extended family. It appeared there were just four people in the house at the time, Metz said.
The motive for the shooting isn’t clear yet. Medics arrived on the scene and pronounced all three people dead.
The mayor said the shooting appears to be “a family tragedy.”
“One thing I would say is the neighborhood itself is safe,” Murray added.

Just curious if we would still be thanking the NRA or anybody else, if this story was similiar to any of these. Where the family member killed their children by drowning, strangulation, knife, fire, smashing with a rock, spear gun, etc….
