[su_center_ad]Drew Walker loves America – his version, anyway. This angry Tea Party zealot has been posting insane rants on Facebook for quite some time, ranting about liberal “f*cking f*ggots” and our Muslim President Barry Soetoro. “Every one of these douchebag motherf*ckers in DC needs to be relieved of their duty immediately, including Obama and that f*cking…

Hey, he qualifies to be a GOP Congressman! What is he saying that is any different from Cruz or any of them?

    • Larry Schmitt October 29th, 2014 at 12:05 pm

He just uses more “colorful” language. What a hateful bastard he is.

  2. tiredoftea October 29th, 2014 at 12:05 pm

Uhh, no, I won’t watch crap like that, thanks anyway! Whoever said that “patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel” would probably amend it to include the morbidly delusional after reading about this guy.

Just another whiney, trash talking loser who couldn’t fight his way out of a wet coffee filter.

Fascinating that this so-called patriot refuses to accept the results of two elections conducted exactly as the Constitution specifies.

Furthermore, it is the job of the Secret Service to investigate possible threats against the President of the United States. During the administration of President Bush, a middle school girl found this out and accepted the consequences.

Why is it not surprising that a child would demonstrate more maturity than this TeaBagging a$$?

LOL that’s the PERFECT place to do it. You wanna get the attention of the Govt? They should have the right to TELL EVERYONE YOU KNOW that you did something that stupid.

I couldn’t watch–just his face and a few quotes raises my blood pressure. Alex “CAN YOU HEAR ME NOW!” Jones has the same effect. The best response I’ve ever seen to Alex Jones was when a host laughed in his face on British TV. Funny as hell!

      • Anomaly 100 October 29th, 2014 at 1:14 pm

It’s hard to watch and I had to go through it a few times in order to write it up. I was bouncing off the walls for an hour after that.

I hope that child goes to a better home.

  9. Republicans_are_Evil October 29th, 2014 at 2:09 pm

The Secret Service needs to stop just visiting these right wing domestic terrorists and start locking them up. We are far too tolerant.

    • SCAarcher October 29th, 2014 at 2:33 pm

Agree. I say MAKE HIM, and everyone who agrees with him, JUST DISAPPEAR.

      • Mike Jolin October 29th, 2014 at 5:31 pm

That would make the Gov the tyrants these NUT JOBS believe it to be. He does need to be put away for mental treatment though.

    • Federalist October 29th, 2014 at 3:18 pm

The problem with that is that they would decide that was justification for their rabid conspiracy delusions and give them more incentive to be even crazier

  10. Taymie October 29th, 2014 at 2:27 pm

Well, now we have proof as to why some of these nut jobs are so opposed to mental health limits on gun ownership.

  11. richard October 29th, 2014 at 2:35 pm

Liberal and progressive citizens have absolutely no problem distinguishing themselves from caricatures like like Walker. On the other hand, it is much more difficult for Tea Party conservatives, Republicans….and even the Koch brothers, not to be lumped together with folks like Walker. That’s because inside every angry Republican, from Reince Preibus, to Mitch McConnell, there is a Drew Walker.

  12. Rus Shore October 29th, 2014 at 2:36 pm

The biggest problem is that the moderates on the Republican side won’t dare to denounce someone like this crazy a-hole, or worse, any of the sitting Republicans on Capitol Hill, and it simply leads people who are inclined to be like this to believe that they speak for all conservatives. It will get worse and worse until someone on that side speaks out against the Limbaugh-like insanity.

    • DD October 29th, 2014 at 4:19 pm

Don’t hold your breath for someone on the Republican side to speak out against this kind of crazy. They made this kind of crazy, it is their base. They just need to own it.

  13. brighteyez October 29th, 2014 at 2:46 pm

This poor piece of rancid trash can continue to ramp up his hatred until his arteries explode….. His demise would be good riddance to bad rubbish.

  14. Terry Miller October 29th, 2014 at 3:01 pm

why does he still have guns..no need for a doctor to deem this idiot unfit to own anything that could cause harm to others…

  15. Bunya October 29th, 2014 at 3:03 pm

I notice the child is holding a simple, run-of-the-mill firearm. That ain’t gonna work. If she wants to take out the president, government officials and all the members of the Muslim Brotherhood, I would suggest she arm herself with an AK-47, or maybe a grenade launcher.

    • Jo Clark October 29th, 2014 at 4:06 pm

Actually, I’m hoping the SS visit is followed up swiftly by a visit from Child Protective Services.

    • whatthe46 October 29th, 2014 at 4:12 pm

that alone should result in a CPS visit and removal of the children. clearly this idiot is a danger to her and anyone else around. i could care less if he’s a danger to himself. and the fact that he’s rasing this child with hatred and ignorance is exactly why racism will forever be alive.

“This video has been removed because it is too utterly batshit – even for YouTube.”
Because THAT is how you know it’s too utterly batshit.
Things I have seen on YouTube: A demons conjured (actually I wish I could find that one again, I’m talkin’ FREAKY), earwax removal, boil lancing, neighbors on meth (tooo funny), dogs that can talk (also funny), and of course all the police brutality vids that are NOT funny.

    • Mike Jolin October 29th, 2014 at 5:23 pm

They actually used the excuse that it was too long.

Remind them of this little fact, Mike…..For 2920 days, these sickos sat and never opened their mouths as Bush Lied us into an illegal invasion he put on a Chinese Credit Card and killed 4600 US troops for. As he bled out 700,000 jobs a month, took a surplus and turned it into largest deficit in history. Created the largest Recession in 60 yrs. Took away our privacy and our rights………….THEN——-56 Days into Obama’s term, they donned their little Ben Franklin costumes, took their misspelled signs and took to the streets, and because they had nothing to blame him for, started on his Birth Certificate and Religion………..Now you ask them to tell you WHY this sudden dislike of government.

        • SteveD October 29th, 2014 at 9:09 pm

Nice fact based rant except for one glaring untruth. There is no Chinese Credit Card. The USA is Monetarily Sovereign. The issuance of federal government debt for anything (even easy profiteering for the “I” portion of the MIC) is completely superfluous. That is, except to satisfy demand for risk-free interest bearing assets. (That is why China wishes to hold US dollars, so they can earn interest on the dollars we send to them for all those Chinese made items that Americans love to purchase at places like Walmart.)

Congress simply authorizes money to be spent, and it is thusly willed into existence.

Here is a mind boggling fact about US debt payments for fiscal 2014: The US Treasury paid off nearly $69 trillion in debt. Redemptions in millions (of millions) equaled: $ 68,727,941 Source: http://www.fms.treas.gov/dts/index.html

          • Peter Naus October 30th, 2014 at 8:36 am

    • Pie Guy October 30th, 2014 at 3:35 am

Judging by the posts I’ve read here, many spew hate just as loudly as the guy you’re talking about. It also seems to me that many of the comments here are racist against white people. As far as realizing sickness, you do realize that most on the right view liberals as the sick ones, don’t you? What is so wrong with following the US Constitution anyhow? You all take advantage of free speech and self-determination every day. At the rate the liberal-progressives are going, we won’t even be able to decide what to eat or how to dress for ourselves. As an intelligent adult citizen, I do not need or want to be told how to live my live. Your rights end where my rights begin.

      • jasperjava October 30th, 2014 at 7:49 am

“many of the comments here are racist against white people”

        Name one, a$$hole.

As a white supremacist, you seem to believe that any comment against racism is “anti-white”.

        • Pie Guy October 31st, 2014 at 1:33 am

You disqualify any points you might have made by calling me a name. You’re such a hater. You also judge me to be a “white supremacist”, which I assure you, I am not.

          • jasperjava October 31st, 2014 at 1:52 am

You don’t even allow Black people to call themselves whatever they want to be called. You complain about the way they have called themselves over the years. It’s pretty obvious that you have nothing but contempt for them.

          • Pie Guy October 31st, 2014 at 2:03 am

Who said I don’t allow them to call themselves what they want? I don’t have any say what they choose to identify as. I am an American. I personally am sick of being called a racist/cracker/kkk’er just because I’m white. You don’t know me from Adam. You just assume I’m racist because I actually am confused about what people with dark skin like to be called? 2 of my five children date black people, I’ll probably be a grandfather of mixed race kids. That’s fine with me, as long as my kids partners treat them well. If you were born here, you’re also an American. Who cares if your ancestors came from Africa? People who insist on being called African-American just keep the division humming right along. By that logic, I am German-Irish-English-Scotch-Dutch-American. Just rolls off the tongue, doesn’t it? How about you just call this guy here an American Citizen. I prefer that, not cracker, or soda cracker, skinhead, or any other names that racists against light skin people like to use. You’re excused for making false assumptions about me.

          • CharlieAdamsInKY November 3rd, 2014 at 10:59 pm

“Skinhead” is what those racists call THEMSELVES, imbecile. Too bad. You were on a roll there until you tried to gild the lily.

      • Um Cara October 30th, 2014 at 7:59 am

“As an intelligent adult citizen, I do not need or want to be told how to live my live.”

        Erm…you…erm…oh well.

      • lorimakesquilts November 11th, 2014 at 9:56 am

        1. You can’t be racist against a group that holds power, e.g., white people in the U.S.

        2. The Constitution is always going to be and has always been interpreted and in dispute. However, it is conservatives that routinely choose to parse out the bits they like and ignore the rest. See gun rights, voting rights, religious encroachment on government, etc.

        3. Progressives champion leaving choice to the citizen when it doesn’t infringe on other’s rights. Individual rights to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness are much more important than the right of corporations to befoul and/or steal our water to give just one example.

        4. No progressive is trying to control your life, only trying to ensure the continued healthy, fulfilling, productive lives of everyone. Contrast that with conservatives who are only concerned with the moment, which today means lining the pockets of the wealthy with more gold.

  45. DwaininAztec October 29th, 2014 at 6:44 pm

Wonder how these guys ever got out of junior high, much less high school. What are the odds that this country stays together for much longer or things fall apart in a civil war? It all worries me.

As a French Canadian and one who has fought against our own seperatists , I feel almost embarrassed to say it, but, should the Confederacy secede again, you should let them go, they are beyond saving. (Fortunately, the separatist minority in Quebec, here in Canada, have finally been defeated… for good, I hope)

      • Ronnie Wexler Gabrielli October 29th, 2014 at 11:41 pm

I agree with you. I would LOVE to see them secede – they’re useless, and they suck down a lot of the money made in the blue states.

A message to all my right wing friends

If Obama was a dictator as some of you think he is, then why are you not in jail or dead?
Most of you call him a communist and socialist, but if you knew the definition of the words that would be impossible.
For 6 years you’ve been saying the FEMA camps are going to be opened, and for 6 years I’m still waiting.
His birth certificate has been recognized as legit by every legal authority except right wing nuts.
For 6 years you have been saying he is going to take our guns away, I’m still waiting.
You said Obamacare would bankrupt the country, that has not happened.
You said the deficits would rise to historic levels, they are now down to record low levels and most of you don’t know the difference between debt and deficit.
You say he lacks a foreign policy, whereas in fact he has kept us out of wars because of his foreign policy.
He is widely respected around the world, yet you people think he’s viewed as a a Hitler world wide.

I could go on and on, but what I see is looney tunes on steroids
who would love to tear this great country apart to get the golden ring
that when and if you get it, that ring will bury you.

    • Carolina Gonzalez October 29th, 2014 at 8:07 pm

      Well said; agree 100%

      • Jim Em October 29th, 2014 at 8:09 pm

Share it far and wide, please. I’ve been posting this on right wing blogs, have been kicked out of every one of them, and on liberal blogs and they love it.

    • Dwendt44 October 29th, 2014 at 8:16 pm

The ‘gun grab’ is going to start any day now.

      • Jim Em October 29th, 2014 at 8:39 pm

That is silly, it has been predicted for 6 years now and if anything, the gun lobby has more rights with open carry. Plus, you only addressed one part of the post without any facts to back it up. That is typical right wing crazies response, void of facts, large on crazy opinion.

        • Mike Jolin October 29th, 2014 at 9:29 pm

I’m pretty sure that Dwend’s post was meant to be sarcasm

          • Jim Em October 29th, 2014 at 9:49 pm

I hope so. I have seen posts like his a thousand times in response to things like this.

  48. Jan Jones October 29th, 2014 at 7:21 pm

So many nutbags on the loose nowadays. And, of course, they all want to overthrow the government of the United States, they all want the President of the United States to die, they all hate anyone whose politics don’t align with their own and they’re al GREAT PATRIOTS – and too stupid to see any problem with believing a great patriot would advocate overthrowing the government of their country or pray for the death of their country’s leader.

  49. Patricia Lafayette M Ed October 29th, 2014 at 7:21 pm

Unfortunately this guy isn’t just crazy all by himself. While so many people really want to believe that we live in a post racial society…..we must sadly first accept that this is the type of entrenched hatred that we are up against. This guy is overtly spewing hatred so he is easy to pick out of the crowd. It’s the one’s that disguise themselves in normal settings that do the most harm. And yes, they are totally mainstream America – teachers, lawyers, doctors, bankers, policemen/women, firemen…etc. holding various positions of power. This is why job discrimination, housing, lending, education, and legal encounters are so much more severe for people of color. This is the type of family that can make the lives of people of color pure hell if unfortunate enough to come into contact with them professionally. You hire a plumber and he deliberately destroys your plumbing or walls, teacher over disciplines your child for mundane childish behavior, police profile, harass, suspect you for no reason, doctor does not follow or prescribe evidenced based treatment protocol for your illness. Dear White people, the next time you hear someone of color saying that racism is a real problem in America please try not to sigh, roll your eyes or cry race card. Just remember this guy right here and others like him that can and do make my life a living hell every chance they get….and because White people run every major institution in America that adds up to a whole lot of chances and a whole lot of hell. We are sick and tired of living with this.

    • Mike Jolin October 29th, 2014 at 9:27 pm

We do know Patricia and, we do try to teach them (Our fellow, not so progressive, white acquaintances) how they are wrong, but, when someone has 4 or 5 generations of this crap engrained in them, it isn’t always easy!

  50. Hard Crps October 29th, 2014 at 7:32 pm

Social media have given these nut cases a voice.

  51. Wallace Torbert October 29th, 2014 at 7:46 pm

Can you imagine if he shot the President how many folks would tear his body apart like zombies. I mean foot first in a wood chipper would be so kind. Hoss, you would do well to shut up and leave off Fox News before some people decide to protect the President.

    • Mike Jolin October 29th, 2014 at 9:23 pm

Someone has to, the Secret Service sure aren’t doing the job

  53. Champ86 October 29th, 2014 at 8:04 pm

I wonder why guys on the left got arrested for Anti-Bush bumper stickers and this guy skates away for much worse ,seems like two sets of rules to me. Maybe the answer’s just as clear as the skin on my nose, and I’m missing it.

    • Republicans_are_Evil October 29th, 2014 at 9:04 pm

We are a nation operating outside the rule of law.

    • Mike Jolin October 29th, 2014 at 9:22 pm

I think it’s the colour of the Presidents nose that explains why the secret service has been SO lax, lately. And the events of Whitehouse trespassers the last few weeks seem to bear me out!

      • lorimakesquilts November 11th, 2014 at 9:38 am

Not quite that simple but basically true. Budget cuts are one of the main culprits and we all know who’s responsible for that. They can’t staff up quickly, it’s just not possible for that kind of job.

  54. rossbro October 29th, 2014 at 8:10 pm

  55. Carolina Gonzalez October 29th, 2014 at 8:13 pm

  57. Shelli Bennett October 29th, 2014 at 8:52 pm

And so he should. 20+ years ago during the first George Bushs’ admin, a friend of ours’ sent the White House a letter only mildly critical of the administration, nothing threatening or vile. HE recieved a prompt visit from the Secret Service.

He spends all that time and effort trying to look lie a tough guy and then, when the Secret Service visits, he lets everyone know he’s not a tough guy after all and is no threat to anyone.
NOW his story is he’s a just a lily-livered weenie pretending to be a badass, but it’s just an act, right?

  67. frostbitblue October 29th, 2014 at 11:33 pm

Dirty, filthy, inbred bastard… along with his freedom, his guns and his daughter they should take his nuts so he cannot further contaminate humanity.

  71. AntRodrigues October 30th, 2014 at 12:50 am

Funny how he says it was not a threat and yet he is holding up a double barrel shotgun and referencing Obama.. that’s how dumb this ignorant racist teabag ahole is… He is what is wrong with America.. He is the reason why the Dems will win another term.

I don’t recall a republican president putting US citizens into internment camps. And NO there hasn’t been an “ideological” shift between the parties, that’s BS. The Democrat party has always been racist and still is.

Your school yard bully act is hilarious. Make me to be a whiny brat running home to mommy. That way you don’t have to address the failed policies of the left.
Well I don’t want to waste your time, I’m sure you have to find another uninformed voter so you can tell them how the Democrats freed the slaves, helped Republican Susan B Anthony get the womans vote, and reversed the Jim Crow laws.
I will leave you to your fairy tales.

          • Michael Fremer October 30th, 2014 at 3:41 pm

I will insult you and your intelligence because clearly beyond spewing idiotic Fox News talking points you’ve not much else to contribute. I know many intelligent conservatives. You are not one of them.

          • Bill in Ocala October 30th, 2014 at 8:41 pm

This is all the left can do is push the “Fox News” “Rush Limbaugh” “Glen Beck” talking point. I admire an intelligent conservative by the name of Alfozo Rachel. He is the voice of reason. But you and your ilk will label him a traitor of some kind.

          • TropicDave173 October 30th, 2014 at 3:50 pm

I think we can well debate the facts, but you have yet to present anything that supports the argument. So the Republicans in the mid-60s supported the Civil Rights Act? We already know the current crop (Cruz, Ryan, Paul, McConnell, Bachmann, Santorum, Romney, Huckabee, and all their acolytes like Kincannon, Ernst, King, Gohmert, and so on) are so far to the right there’s no possibility of working with the Democratic (THAT’S how you spell it) party. The CRA wouldn’t pass in 2014, sad to say. Your party is and has been deliberately obstructive and partisan and is rightfully called the “Party of NO”. Until you realize this isn’t and never will be the 1950s again, and the party accepts realities of the 21st century, it WILL be increasingly marginalized and eventually fade away, to lie upon the dustbin of history where it belongs. Or it can get with the times – oh, who am I kidding? Enjoy yourself on your plot of land there in Ocala, where you can be king and president and rule as you see fit…and meanwhile we’ll just give you a wide berth. Have a nice day.

          • Bill in Ocala October 30th, 2014 at 8:20 pm

The Democratic party has not changed in 200 years, they have just moved the black people from the plantation to the public housing in exchange for their votes.

Tell me how much better off the black man is now than 40 or 50 years ago? How has them voting Democrat has improved their quality of life? I shall wait with bated breath your most eloquent response.

          • jasperjava October 30th, 2014 at 8:44 pm

“The black man” (who talks that way anymore, referring to a group of people in the singular? You sound like a Nazi referring to “the Jew”)

“The black man” is intelligent enough to vote for his interests. And his interests are not represented by the Republican Party.

It’s incredibly racist for you to say that you know better how they should vote than they do.

          • Bill in Ocala October 30th, 2014 at 9:12 pm

What “interests” does the Democratic party represent for him?

          • OldLefty October 30th, 2014 at 9:25 pm

What “interests” does the Democratic party represent for him?

            ______

Jobs, equal opportunity, decent education, fair student loans, infrastructure, a safety net when the market fails, decent healthcare, voting rights.. to name a few.

That is why most African Americans vote democratic.

          • jasperjava October 31st, 2014 at 1:46 am

Again referring to African-Americans as if they were a single monolithic entity. That’s racist in itself.

There are many reasons why African-Americans vote Democratic in large numbers. Economics, for one. The Republican Party represents the wealthy few, and the poor gullible saps who lick the boots of the ultra-wealthy. Black people are under-represented in those categories.

Another reason is social. Social conservatives are very often white supremacists. Black people will not vote for a party that treats them with contempt. It’s only natural that folks want to be treated with respect.

          • Bill in Ocala October 31st, 2014 at 9:54 am

“Black people” is an example of the monolithic entity you claim is racist. If we’re all equal under the law then why does the left insist on categorizing everyone with hyphenated names? Why? Because deep down they believe we are not individuals but groups that must be herded into carefully labeled categories. Sad really. As a nation we should be doing everything to lift EVERYONE out of poverty, not creating programs that keep them poor. Or is that the real reason the left is systematically destroying the middle class? To create a 2 class system of just the rich and poor?

          • jasperjava October 31st, 2014 at 10:04 am

You’re delusional if you think “the left” is destroying the middle class. The middle class has been under attack by right-wing “trickle-down” policies, union-busting and outsourcing of well-paid manufacturing jobs. All of which has been imposed by Reagan-style corporate feudalism.

          • Bill in Ocala October 31st, 2014 at 10:19 am

“Well paid manufacturing jobs”? My God, you’re still in the industrial age? Come on over to the digital age we are here waiting for you.
This administration’s attempt to squeeze more money from the corporations has caused them to move their operations overseas, taking the jobs with them. Nice work. So now this administration wants to force these companies to still pay us taxes. I thought he was against colonialism?
He is a failure as a President, he can’t even close Gitmo like he promised. Then he tells us unemployment is at an all-time low by eliminating entire groups of people and fudging the numbers. The condescending rhetoric is growing weary.

          • OldLefty October 31st, 2014 at 10:35 am

This administration’s attempt to squeeze more money from the corporations has caused them to move their operations overseas,

            ______

            What absolute hooey.

What caused them to move their operations overseas was cheap labor and oppressive governments who enforce cheap labor.

            The only time Tom Delay was honest was when he told us the GOP plan for Americans;

When Tom Delay went to the Marianas in 1997 with Jack Abramoff, where workers were forced to live behind barbed wire in squalid rat-infested shacks minus plumbing, work
12 hours a day, often seven days a week, he fully approved of the working and living conditions.
A Department of the Interior report found that “Chinese women were subject to forced abortions and that women and children were subject to forced prostitution in the local sex-tourism industry.”
The Texan’s salute to the owners and Abramoff’s government clients was recorded by ABC-TV News: “You are a shining light for what is happening to the Republican Party, and you
represent everything that is good about what we are trying to do in America and leading the world in the free-market system”

Frank Murkowski, submitted a bill to extend the protection of U.S. minimum-wage labor laws to the workers in the
            CNMI, which passed unanimously.

The bill was then blocked by Tom DeLay in the House.
Jack Abramoff hired Ralph Reed’s Century Strategies to
            “send out a mailer to Alabama conservative Christians;
“The radical left, the Big Labor Union Bosses, and Bill Clinton want to pass a law preventing Chinese from coming to work on the Marianas Islands,” the mailer from Reed’s firm said. The Chinese workers, it added, “are exposed to the teachings of Jesus Christ” while on the islands, and many “are converted to the Christian faith and return to China with Bibles in hand.”

Obama will go down as one of better presidents in one of our worst times with the most infantile toxic Congress.

There is not one issue, when compared side by side that Obama has not done better than Reagan or Bush, and I would include Clinton who signed Graham Leach Bliley, the Commodity Futures Modernization Act, NAFTA and the Telecommunications Act of 1996.

Each member of the Democratic Party is referred to as a Democrat, and groups of them are referred to, in plural, as Democrats, but the Party itself has always been referred to as the Democratic Party, not the Democrat Party, and the latter term has only begun to be applied in the last six years or so, and I have never seen it used by a member of the Democratic Party or by anyone in favor of that party’s policies. It’s really only used in a derogatory sense, and it’s okay to admit that. After all, without hate, we’d just be another species of mammal.

          • jasperjava October 30th, 2014 at 7:55 pm

You’re a moron who doesn’t even know the difference between a noun and an adjective, something that most of us learned in grade school.

John Kennedy was a Democrat: CORRECT
John Kennedy joined the Democratic Party: CORRECT
John Kennedy led the Democrat Party: INCORRECT.

If you can’t even manage basic grammar, how can you make any kind of intelligent contribution? Answer: you can’t.

          • OldLefty October 30th, 2014 at 8:35 pm

You may want to visit their webpage. Even the URL says Democrats.

            _______

A member of the Democratic Party is a Democrat.

One is a noun, one is an adjective.

“Democrat Party” is apolitical epithet used in the United States for the Democratic Party. The term has been used in negative or hostile fashion by conservative commentators and members of the Republican Party in party platforms, partisan speeches and press releases since 1940.

And I wouldn’t talk about “facts” if I were you.

          • Bill in Ocala October 30th, 2014 at 11:15 am

The Democrat party has used and abused black people from the beginning of our republic. In fact they still do, only instead of slaves on a democrat plantation they sell their votes in exchange for food and shelter. What has changed? Absolutely nothing.

        • OldLefty October 30th, 2014 at 10:45 am

The photos were taken at Tea Party Rallies.

          Don’t be silly.

          What is the “Democrat party?

YOU may want to do a little research on the The Civil Rights
          Act of 1964;

          Total Votes;

          The House ;

          Southern Democrats: 7–87
          (7–93%)

          Southern Republicans: 0–10 (0–100%)

          Northern Democrats: 145–9
          (94–6%)

          Northern Republicans: 138–24
          (85–15%)

          The Senate version:

          Southern Democrats: 1–20
          (5–95%)

          Southern Republicans: 0–1
          (0–100%)

          Northern Democrats: 45–1
          (98–2%)

          Northern Republicans: 27–5
          (84–16%)

LBJ told Kennedy aide Ted Sorenson
that “I know the risks are great and we might lose the South, but those
sorts of states may be lost anyway.”

Then the racist Democrats, (who were Democrats because the end of slavery damaged the economy of the south, and FDR’s policies did a lot to restore it), all became Republicans, the “Southern Strategy” was born and the South has been solidly Red ever since.

Sorry, but the party of Lincoln and Union has become the party of Lincoln’s assassin and secession.

          • Bill in Ocala October 30th, 2014 at 11:56 am

Your research is flawed. The Civil Rights Act — which is best known for barring discrimination in public accommodations — passed the House on Feb. 10, 1964 by a margin of 290-130. When broken down by party, 61 percent of Democratic lawmakers voted for the bill (152 yeas and 96 nays), and a full 80 percent of the Republican caucus supported it (138 yeas and 34 nays).

When the Senate passed the measure on June 19, 1964, — nine days after supporters mustered enough votes to end the longest filibuster in Senate history — the margin was 73-27. Better than two-thirds of Senate Democrats supported the measure on final passage (46 yeas, 21 nays), but an even stronger 82 percent of Republicans supported it (27 yeas, 6 nays).

          • OldLefty October 30th, 2014 at 2:14 pm

            Just look at the roll.

Meanwhile you ignore the preponderance of Democrats who were from the South (0% of Southern Republicans v 7% of Southern Democrats for the House, and (0% of Southern Republicans v 5 % of Southern Democrats for the Senate.

There were many, many , many more Democrats in the South period.

Those racist Southern Democrats became Republicans, except for Robert Byrd who renounced his racism.

          • Andy Frobig October 30th, 2014 at 2:20 pm

How is OldLefty’s research flawed? His Democratic vs. Republican numbers match yours perfectly. The only difference is that he then breaks these totals down by region. You haven’t shown any inaccuracies in that breakdown, or any data pertaining to it at all.

          • Michael Fremer October 30th, 2014 at 3:40 pm

          • TropicDave173 October 30th, 2014 at 3:42 pm

Again, a better question. Would it pass the House and Senate NOW? If we look to the so-called “voter ID” laws and the actions of the SCOTUS, no. Your sainted conservatives would vote it down in the guise of “fraud” or “bad for business” or some such reason. While you deny it, there has been a very real shift to the right – primarily casued by the religious right – in the Republican party, particularly in the last 15 years. The concept of compromise, to the right, is “do it my way”. If that doesn’t happen, then filibustering and stalling and killing legislation occurs, and nothing gets done – as evidenced by the approval ratings of this current Congress.

And like Romney’s Solyndra; Konarka Technologies.

        • TropicDave173 October 30th, 2014 at 3:32 pm

$500 million is what Solyndra cost. Businesses do fail. And that loan was set up under the Bush administration, by the way. Here’s a better question. How much corporate welfare does a corporation like Walmart get?

$6.2 BILLION. 12x as much. And how many quarters do the oil companies get to have their free handout (about $4 billion a year) given to them by their pals and puppets in Congress? Where’s your righteous indignation about that?

Any talk of Solyndra while the Republicans are giving corporate handouts is disingenuous. If you really looked up facts instead of regurgitating everything Bill, Sean, Glenn and Rush spewed out, you’d already know all of this. Oh, and sorry about the big words.

GOP’s loan guarantee loss reserve still has $9.5 billion remaining! That’s only the 2nd thing GOP or GWB’s admin did correctly this century! (#1 was GWB declassifying DARPA Thin Film Solar used by Solyndra, etc to create solar power on cloudy and rainy days via many wavelengths:)

“Loan guarantees aim to stimulate investment and commercialization of clean energy technologies to reduce our nation’s reliance on foreign sources of energy,” Bush’s energy secretary, Sam Bodman, announced in a press release on Oct. 4, 2007.

Thank you for some sense here.

        • Michael Fremer October 30th, 2014 at 3:33 pm

Wow are you misinformed! The Solyndra loan was made by The Bush administration! Didn’t know that? Of course not. You’ve been had but you don’t know it. The loan was made under a Bush era law too. Did you know that?

FACT: The Energy Department’s loan guarantee program was created as part of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, passed by a Republican-controlled Congress and signed by Bush.

FACT: The Energy Department issued its final rules for the program in 2007, along with a list of 16 companies that made the cut for to apply for its first round of awards, and Solyndra was among them.

FACT: Bush energy officials wanted to get the loan closed on their way out the door — it was listed as the first of their “three highest priorities through January 15.” (Obama took office Jan. 20, 2009.) But the Energy Department’s credit committee held things up for more analysis.

FACT: On Jan. 6, 2009, in remarks on conservation and the environment from the Eisenhower Executive Office Building, he said, “We dedicated more than $18 billion to developing clean and efficient technologies like biofuels, advanced batteries and hydrogen fuel cells, solar and wind power, and clean, safe nuclear power. We’re providing more than $40 billion in loan guarantees to put these technologies to use.”

However, ultimately, the Bush administration program didn’t finalize a single loan guarantee.

When Obama became president that bit of old business (the Solyndra loan) was finalized and the loan deal was signed.

In the interest of full disclosure and honesty (something you will never get from Republicans on this) there was one difference: the original loan guaranty program required the business to pay for the “credit subsidy costs”. The final loan guaranty issued under section 1705 had taxpayers picking up the cost.

Now you could say that was a bad idea (though Solyndra investors included the Wal-Mart family and many other savvy investors) or a good risk given the need to stimulate the economy (one way or another) BUT what that loan NEVER WAS, was ‘crony Obama capitalism’,which is what the very people who passed the law in the first place spewed, and which you swallowed.

The right charged Obama with pushing through this loan to benefit one of his political “bundlers” and that was an outright LIE.

Obama’s greatest flaw is that he’s unwilling to fight back against the lies and smears that have been hurled at him for the better part of a decade.

So when you hurl “Solyndra” it’s a meaningless catch phrase designed by right wing cynics to have folks like you repeat them as if they have some kind of meaning….

WAKE UP. You are being manipulated.

          • Bill in Ocala October 30th, 2014 at 8:53 pm

Fact: Campaign finance records show Kaiser and Solyndra executives and board
members donated $87,050 total to Obama’s election campaign.

          • Michael Fremer October 30th, 2014 at 10:43 pm

Are you so brain dead that you are going to tie every governmental action to campaign contributions? On that basis what act is “clean”? ANSWER: NONE though of course you’ll give a free pass to your side. How dumb. Almost as dumb as SCOTUS decision to equate speech with money. That guarantees that EVERY governmental decision will have your kind of proof of “corruption”. You waste my time with that kind of nonsense though I’m sure you had nothing to say when Cheney awarded no bid contracts to Halliburton. There’s little point discussing anything with mind controlled right wingers

          • BobbyPFalcon November 1st, 2014 at 9:18 am

This – of course – was after the Bush administration submitted the application. So you have no point. And if this and Benghazi are all you sore losers could dream up – no wonder you can’t figure out why you lost to him twice. This ignorance already lost the GOP the next shot at the White House. The country won’t vote for wingnuts, even if they are white…

Campaign finance records show Kaiser and Solyndra executives and board

            _______

            So what?

How much did Konarka Technologies donate to Romney’s campaign for governor?

(And guess what? His giving them a loan WAS a good idea, just as Obama’s loan to Solyndra was).
THAT is the public private partnership that moves ALL innovation.

By the way gas and oil gave 8 X more to Romney than to Obama.
            So what??

          • Duard October 30th, 2014 at 9:00 pm

Wrong wrong wrong. The loan was applied for during the Bush Adminstration but was not granted until August 2009, when The Chosen One was already well-ensconced in the White House. The Bush Adminstration had nothing to do with it, and the folks running the disaster were all Obama donors. Joe Biden, the vice-president, attended the ground-breaking ceremony. The Chosen One himself visited the plant in March 2010, touting how wonderful it was, but nine months later it was in financial trouble, and, despite a financial reorganization at Obama’s behest, was out of business in August 2011.

Source: The Washington Post, of all places.

And by the way, there is absolutely no proof that Drew Walker is associated with The Tea Party. Proof, please, or STFU.

          • Michael Fremer October 30th, 2014 at 10:38 pm

That’s a ridiculous response but not unexpected. The loan originated with Bush administration and went back without prejudice for some paper work fixes. Of course it was completed under Obama. HE WAS PRESIDENT duh but to say Bush had nothing to do with it is absurd as is your RIDICULOUS comment about who was running the “disaster”. THE INVESTORS INCLUDED THE WALTONS AND MANY OTHERS WHO WERE NOT OBAMA SUPPORTERS PERIOD. That is a FACT. Oh and yes almost a year after Obama ( not the chosen one you two year old) visited because the Chinese dumped panels the comany folded. The WALTONS and the others all lost money. I never said that guy was in the Tea Party and I’m not going to shut the eff up but you can go Dick Cheney yourself

          • Allen Santee Summers October 31st, 2014 at 3:54 pm

Tea Party or not, having lived in a nearly 100% conservative state for 10 years (I finally got out of that craphole), I can tell you from personal experience that conservative republican policies of any kind only hurt the US citizens in favor of big money corporations

          • BobbyPFalcon November 1st, 2014 at 9:09 am

The loan you refer to was applied for during the Bush administration. If Bush was against it – why did the application go through? And why can’t you acknowledge this obvious and easily verifiable fact of record? It only makes you look like a sore loser – desperate to hang something, anything, on the guy you could never beat. Walker may not be a Tea Partier but plenty of Tea Party members use the same ignorant rhetoric…

          • Duard November 15th, 2014 at 4:30 pm

The application went through because Bush was no longer president. The loan was not — contrary to your original statement — made or approved by the Bush Administration. Bush was not president when the loan was approved. Obama was. Even your fellow mouth breathing liberal apologists recoginze this. Why can’t you UNDERSTAND this obvious and easily verifiable fact of record?

    • JefferyHaas October 30th, 2014 at 3:43 pm

Bill in Ocala, you sound just like the guys in the pointy white hoods who deny that they are members of the KKK.

May you also live in interesting times.

You mean guys in pointy hoods like Robert Byrd or Harry Truman. Or maybe you meant FDRs buddy Hugo Black who he appointed to the Supreme court. Maybe you meant Dick Gephardt? Drew Walker is an asshole, it was Alan Combs who tried and failed to make the tea party moniker stick.

Bill, You are a citizen but not a “natural born citizen”, that requires having both parents born in the U.S.A., and both being citizens. You must be a “natural born citizen” to qualify for president. Bobby Jindel, Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio does not qualify, to my disappointment. But the Democrats will be the first to remind them that they don’t qualify. They are hypocrites.

      • jkld October 31st, 2014 at 4:20 pm

Uh, no it doesn’t. None of the original founding fathers had parents that were born in the USA. So that is just dumb ignorant stuff. IGNORANT. smh You only need to be BORN in the United States. They have also, as in the case with John McCain, expanded that to include US military bases around the world.

        • HighPower762 November 1st, 2014 at 3:00 am

Lisa, the requirement of being a natural born citizen was written into Article 1 of the Constitution which went into effect in 1789. So, your point is irrelevant. Also, many of the signers of the Declaration of Independence had actually been here for generations. So, your point is also incorrect.

          • Obewon November 1st, 2014 at 9:40 pm

Did Soviet Orly Taitz tell you John McCain was born in Panama! POTUS Obama is the 7th U.S. president with at least one foreign-born parent. (R) Herbert Hoover had a Canadian-born mother. Woodrow Wilson’s mother was English. Chester Arthur and James Buchanan both had Irish fathers. Thomas Jefferson’s mother was born in England! And Andrew Jackson’s parents were both born in Ireland.

And why are all of these people eligible for the presidency of the United States? Because the Supreme Court, after citing many, many precedents, ultimately decided in US v. WONG KIM ARK (1898) that the 14th Amendment guaranteed citizenship to all persons born in the United States, regardless of their ethnic heritage. http://www.examiner.com/article/obama-is-the-seventh-president-with-a-foreign-born-parent LMAO at birthers for Cruz’16~

          • HighPower762 November 3rd, 2014 at 1:31 pm

I think you misunderstood my post. I was agreeing that having a mother who is an American citizen IS sufficient to qualify for the presidency. I was just pointing out that Jefferson ‘ mother being born in England was irrelevant as he was born here. Therefore, even if Obama was born in Kenya it wouldn’t matter.

        • Charles Francis Lawson Jr November 3rd, 2014 at 2:38 am

        • John E. Conway November 10th, 2014 at 11:30 am

Not quite right, they considered born in the colonies acceptable. but at least you have a stronger grasp that the majority out there. But it isn’t limited to being born in the US, anyone born to an American citizen, either parent, is also a natural born citizen, regardless where they are born.

      • OldLefty October 31st, 2014 at 7:26 pm

Bill, You are a citizen but not a “natural born citizen”, that requires having both parents born in the U.S.A., and both being citizens.

        ________

        From where is that????

      • Obewon November 1st, 2014 at 2:30 am

John Mc’Cain was born in Panama! POTUS Obama is the 7th U.S. president with at least one foreign-born parent. (R) Herbert Hoover had a Canadian-born mother. Woodrow Wilson’s mother was English. Chester Arthur andJames Buchanan both had Irish fathers. Thomas Jefferson’s mother was born in England, and Andrew Jackson’s parents were both born in Ireland.

Along with McCain, presidential contender Mitt Romney’s father was born in Mexico, and Bill Richardson’s parents were both foreign-born, his father from Nicaragua and his mother from Mexico.

And why are all of these people eligible for the presidency of the United States? Because the Supreme Court, after citing many, many precedents, ultimately decided in US v. • CharlieAdamsInKY November 3rd, 2014 at 10:32 pm

You’re as full of shit as the jackass in the video. There is no such requirement for “both parents born in the USA and both citizens” in order to be classified as a “natural born citizen”, nor is there any distinction between “natural born” and any other kind other than “naturalized”. You bagger idiots claim to be “Constitutionalists”, but you don’t know anything about it beyond your own wishful thinking. The Constitution does not define “natural born citizen” AT ALL. And the only thing that Democrats are “reminding” them of is that, if Obama wasn’t eligible, then none of those three would be, either.

      • Dave B. November 4th, 2014 at 10:50 am

Your requirement that a natural born citizen must have “both parents born in the U.S.A., and both being citizens” is even goofier than the standard birther version, which merely requires that the parents bad US citizens. NEITHER version exists in actual US law.

      • John E. Conway November 10th, 2014 at 11:26 am

You are incorrect, there are only two forms of citizenship, natural born, and naturalized. A naturalized citizen is one who does not meet the criteria to be a natural born citizen (one of those being born to an American citizen, just one parent, immediately grants you citizenship), applies for citizenship and is granted such by the government. if they are not Born into it, they are naturalized. Naturalized citizens cannot run for president. Natural born citizens, no matter where they were born, can. That is why McCain could run before, even though he was born overseas.

As you all should know, The Tea Party in not an organized political party with members. It is a grassroots political movement that believes in small government, believes in constitutional government that does not infringe upon the rights of its citizens, believes in a balanced budget and term limits. I will bet if asked, most of you will say that you believe in these same ideas. Anyone can claim to be a Tea Partier, even a potty mouth nut case like some of the commenters below, but we know that they belong to the Democrat Party. Now, If you feel the need to reply, be sure to give facts and not Democrat talking points.

But you couldn’t do that. Instead, you want to talk about Democrats.

      • johnhay November 3rd, 2014 at 1:26 pm

Tea Party is grassroots, my ass. Paid for, every one of the websites, by the Koch Brothers. How can you believe that the constitution should not infringe upon rights, and at the same time believe that the constitution didn’t actually mean separation of church and state? Or, as many teabaggers do, believe in PROLIFE? That’s not small government. That’s big government in my vagina. You probably don’t even know what small government is. The Tea Baggers in Congress think it means blocking infrastructure bills, voting for more tax cuts for the wealthy, and tend to use their own facts when it comes to Climate Change. They are also, judging by the signs they make, illiterate morans. Racist, birther, haters. Mostly racist and scared that we have a black President. NOTHING good has come out of the Tea Party movement. NOTHING.

        • John E. Conway November 10th, 2014 at 11:19 am

Republicans tend to push laws that increase government presence in ones personal life by dictating moral principles best left to the church. By outlawing things like gay marrairge, anti-sodomy laws, weakening rape protection and prosecution laws and victim blaming, and denying equal rights for all sexes and sexual orientations, it increases government overview, far more than what the Democrats tend to be behind.

      • ...and justice for ALL November 7th, 2014 at 5:13 am

        How are they treasonous?

        • John E. Conway November 10th, 2014 at 11:13 am

You read this article, which while it isnt representative of the group as a whole, does represent the views of a large number of its followers, and still need to ask that question?

        • CharlieAdamsInKY November 12th, 2014 at 3:47 pm

If you don’t consider advocating the overthrow of the United States government and the assassination or unlawful seizure of the sitting president treasonous, you’re part of the problem.

          • JSebastian November 16th, 2014 at 5:39 pm

If you don’t consider advocating the overthrow of the United States government and the assassination or unlawful seizure of the sitting president treasonous,

…then you’re correct, because neither of those things constitute treason. Treason has a very narrow and specific legal definition. That isn’t treason – at most its sedition.

          • Virginia Liberal November 16th, 2014 at 6:06 pm

            YESSSSSS!!

          • CharlieAdamsInKY November 17th, 2014 at 11:30 pm

There are legal definitions, and then there are ethical definitions. Betraying your country and your countrymen is TREASON by any rational standard, whether it suits the letter of the law or not.

          • CharlieAdamsInKY November 17th, 2014 at 11:33 pm

Of course, that reply was intended for JSebastian.

    • PhyllisO November 6th, 2014 at 9:49 pm

Except for you know allowing women access to health care or abortion because of religion. Don’t kid yourself, they still want big government.

      • ...and justice for ALL November 7th, 2014 at 4:56 am

Big government is a DEMOCRAT selling point, it’s the Repuublicans that believe in less. government. Do. you understand your partie’s politics…or politics in general?

        • PhyllisO November 7th, 2014 at 10:01 am

It’s obvious you don’t understand it, or just willfully ignorant. Both sides want bigger government and more intrusion. Your side does it under the auspicious “morality” play, which I am positive you don’t see as wrong or on the same playing field. The right, at least the biggest mouths, want to expand laws as well, just different ones then some on of the left. How does it interfere with your life if I get an hypothetical abortion? I’ll tell you; it doesn’t. We are complete strangers. Don’t kid yourself. The GOP doesn’t want you to have more freedom or money. They like you just where you are. They are even more repressive then the democrats could ever dream of.

Actually, even us liberals dont really want big government, but we understand that we cant gut it either, and that government is there to serve and protect the people, not just collect a paycheck.

          • Virginia Liberal November 16th, 2014 at 6:04 pm

Well this Liberal wants a government the size needed to work for all people and not just for a selfish bunch of rich guys. I happen to like my government. It has served us well. However I hate the infestation of people who went to DC with no other mission but to lie, cheat, steal and kill government. They are nothing more than hypocritical opportunists who talk the talk but DONOT walk the walk. If they don’t like Liberals then they need to buck up and work for all of us.

        • Candide Thirtythree December 13th, 2014 at 7:36 am

That is NOT what republicans believe in, they are lying to you with every breathe, they always grow the government the most and mostly because they want huge bureaucracies meddling in people’s private lives. If you looked it up for yourself, you would see what we have been telling you all along, it is the republicans who are for big government and huge tax loopholes for the rich. Liberals are the only ones who vote for less government intrusion in people’s private lives. Always has been that way, even back when the republicans were the liberals, fifty something years ago.

    • lorimakesquilts November 10th, 2014 at 7:15 am

LOL Grassroots movement. You’re funny. The teaparty movement is a creation of the Koch brothers and their pals

    • John E. Conway November 10th, 2014 at 11:14 am

Actually according to a recent study, it was created by the Koch brothers and Big Tobacco. http://www.huffingtonpost.com/brendan-demelle/study-confirms-tea-party-_b_2663125.html

      • JSebastian November 16th, 2014 at 5:35 pm

Except it wasn’t. That movement collected no followers. What caused a groundswell and true movement in 2008 was the candidacy of Ron Paul. Which had nothing to do with the US Tea Party, that website, or the CSE organization. Tea Parties were literally nothing more than meetups for Libertarians and other supporters of RP.

        • John E. Conway November 17th, 2014 at 11:25 am

Small government. Until they don’t like it.
Does not infringe upon the rights of its citizens. Which by citizens they mean straight, white, rich, Christians.
Balanced budget and term limits. As in double the military budget while cutting most everything else.

As a gay man, atheist, and a man of science; They believe in only freedom for themselves and would hang me on the spot if possible. No wonder the rest of the world laughs at the US. I can’t wait to take my soon to be computer science degree and benefit the EU, where they actually give equality and freedoms to everyone. I don’t want to raise my future family in this country.

    • Virginia Liberal November 16th, 2014 at 5:32 pm

Hey Tony. The Tea Party might have started out as you say, but it morphed into something completely different. Those who consider themselves TP, believe in limited government for the rich but are stepping all over everyone elses rights. If they were so righteous in their dogma spouting about freedom, they have proved that freedom is in the eye of the beholder. Small government does not work now. Don’t claim to know what Democrats think because you are not qualified to make that assessment. You have the right to act like a complete ass if you want to as long as you are willing to challenge anything that confronts you about it. I have the same right. I do not dilute myself into thinking that the constitution says one thing when it does not. There has been 200 years since the original document was written and it’s intent was to expand to the times in which we live. You want the government of 1776, then I’d suggest that you take a time machine and go back there. I’m sure you’ll be right at home. It has been modified over time and you have no idea about what those changes were.

So…..they think Obama is a Muslim, but that he married a man???? He wears silk ties, gold rings, eats bacon, and only prays Christian prayers at appropriate functions, but he’s supposed to be a Muslim somehow? His wife doesn’t wear a hijab. He doesn’t observe Ramadan. Funny kind of Muslim. What a bunch of idiots.

There’s no way I’d watch this troglodyte’s videos (I spent a lot of money on my computer and I’d be tempted to hit it with a bat), but from the article, I’d say he’s got an IQ of 2 and it takes 3 to grunt, he’s crazier than a shithouse mouse, got bats in his belfry, he’s proof that evolution can go in reverse, he’s one fry short of a Happy Meal, a taco shy of a combo meal, dumber than a 2-story outhouse, a sack of hair, a bag of hammers and a box of rocks, and if his brains were dynamite, he couldn’t blow his nose. And he’s got a gun. I wish the Secret Service had arrested him and thrown him in jail with some of “those” people he hates and is afraid of so much. See how he likes being Bubba’s bitch.

    • JSebastian November 3rd, 2014 at 6:17 pm

What crime should he have been arrested for?

      • JonesRobynj November 3rd, 2014 at 8:36 pm

Well if you don’t know, I think you should just pass on that question.

        • JSebastian November 16th, 2014 at 3:19 pm

You seem to think you know, so why the obfuscation. What crime do you think he committed that he should have been arrested for?

          • Virginia Liberal November 16th, 2014 at 5:23 pm

Sorry Sebastian, but I wasn’t answering you. I was making a comment to Mike Jolin. The President is nothing more than a whipping post for these Tea Party types. Sometimes it shocks me as to how far they go with the name calling and the racist, irrelevant talk. I just have to think it’s because they have been poisoned by right wing talk for so long, they can’t even get along with anyone. Here especially. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

          • JSebastian November 16th, 2014 at 5:30 pm

Ah…understood. No worries. In any case though, the Tea Party is not some monolithic group composed of one type of people with one set of beliefs. This is really nothing more than guilt by association. Very few of the people who have these conservative views, or have adopted the Tea Party platform are like the guy this article is profiling. Just because he *also* claims to be a patriot, *also* doesn’t like Obama because of what he’s done and how he has done it, does not mean that all Tea Party folk are just like him in manner and belief.

In fact, when the Tea Party movement began as a campaign for Ron Paul, there really weren’t any of these guys associated with it. They jumped on the bandwagon after the GOP started co-opting the Tea Party moniker. Being a constitutional conservative/patriot is a pretty big tent.

          • Virginia Liberal November 16th, 2014 at 5:52 pm

I agree with everything you said and I have no problem with people being conservatives. However the wild cards that have hitched a ride on the TP bandwagon have turned out the most vial, disgusting slugs I’ve ever heard of. I know exactly where they get this garbage they spew all around and wish the old laws of truth in reporting were still in force. I hate that things have degraded to this point. I for one, really like my President. I agree with everything he has done and for things I doubt, I have to wait and make sure it’s a valid point because lets face it, we really don’t know what’s going on behind the scenes. I’m not sure that that being a constitutional conservative/ so called patriot, is not a big tent philosophy as I see it. Maybe it is because those moderates over there are hiding for fear of being ostracized by their own party. Nonetheless, I refuse to listen to anyone who’s first word out of their mouth is Muslim, anti-Christian, non-legitimate person who I remind, is duly elected. I’d be against Democrats doing the same thing to a Republican president as well. I always tell people that I didn’t like George Bush and didn’t vote for him, but I never talked about him in such disgusting terms as these people have talked about Obama. To put it simply, there is no excuse for being so disrespectful of anyone holding that position. I could go on and on but won’t. The president just happens to be my husband’s boss. End of story. Take care.

          • Iamalwaysright01 December 28th, 2014 at 7:56 pm

I think that one of his problems is that he is convinced that Obama wasn’t eligible to be potus making him not duly elected …the last polling I read on this at Politico concluded that only 28% of Americans think he was born in the USA …I think the obviously forged long form BC he posted online may have been the dead giveaway

      • Mike Jolin November 14th, 2014 at 3:02 pm

Treason and making death threats, come to mind, for starters

        • JSebastian November 16th, 2014 at 3:18 pm

Treason has a very specific legal definition. It is clear that you are not aware of what that definition is I read the article twice. I don’t see any threats.

  106. johnhay November 3rd, 2014 at 12:29 pm

This is great. One picture, and apparently it’s collective guilt for an entire group. Yet let some Muslim go out and commit terrorism, and you all run to defend all Muslims. Rightly so, yet let it be a group you dislike, and you’re all over them. Really so forward thinking.

    • arc99 November 3rd, 2014 at 12:38 pm

So you object to treating right wingers in the exact same manner, they want to treat Muslims?

      • johnhay November 3rd, 2014 at 1:06 pm

You need to slow down and work on reading comprehension. You just used more collective guilt right there. I’m saying it’s wrong to blame all groups for one person who’s unhinged. Fred Phelps of the God Hates F–gs infamy was a friend of Al Gore’s. Did that mean all of us are homophobic asses?

Besides, even if that were true that all of X things Y, if you object to that, then police your own house and don’t engage in the same behavior. You’re setting up a straw dog and lying about people you hate to excuse your own hate, just like the Klan used to justify their treatment of African-Americans by claiming all sorts of lies about their behavior.

If that’s still confusing, go back and listen to the president’s Tuscon speech. We can disagree without being disagreeable. Let the change start with me. You can go right on hating, but I’m not going to join you. Sorry.

    • CharlieAdamsInKY November 3rd, 2014 at 10:18 pm

Shove it up your ass, you ignorant FAKE-“patriot” LIAR.

    • John E. Conway November 10th, 2014 at 11:09 am

Except its not just one guy and one picture. a LARGE number of so called “Patriots” (most of whom who never served a day in their life in service to this country) feel exactly the same way and use the same speech, they just arent quite stupid enough to put memes up threatening the president with their guns. Close, but not quite.

Now I will concede that you cannot generalize about the group based on the actions of one many, or even a small number of its members who are in the extreme, but when the majority of vocal tea partiers espouse these beliefs, that isn’t a generalization anymore. If it isnt representative of the tea party (created by the Kochs and Big Tobacco BTW, if the study is correct) then the tea party needs to do something to reign these nut jobs in. Until then, if it walks, quacks, and swims like a duck, its a duck.

      • Iamalwaysright01 December 28th, 2014 at 7:46 pm

I would venture to guess that there are more current and former military who identify with Tea Party ideals than with progressive cloud thinking

        • John E. Conway December 28th, 2014 at 9:25 pm

Well you are talking to a liberal Army veteran (desert Storm/Shied Era) so take that as you will. And I wouldn’t consider it “cloud thinking” considering the majority of the rest of the world that is advanced is progressive and the majority that are third world and repressed are conservative. I mean, we are the only industrialized nation left without universal healthcare.

          • Iamalwaysright01 December 28th, 2014 at 11:22 pm

I have had the advantage of living most of my life abroad and in some of those countries whose healthcare systems you jealously refer to including Switzerland and what you think is universal healthcare is anything but. The reason the term cloud thinking is more appropriate is because progressive ideas are ones that have been tried and failed and their success requires us to ignore history and endorse the definition of crazy. Trust me when I tell you that the majority of the rest of the world that is advanced isn’t progressive and the degree to which they might be they are also swimming in debt incurred in trying to support programs that just don’t pencil out. The answer to our healthcare issues in this country isn’t to have the government deal themselves in to the tune of 18 new taxes and to intrude into the middle of the Dr – Patient relationship any more than importing and granting amnesty to 10 million illegal aliens is the answer to wage stagnation and unemployment

          • John E. Conway December 29th, 2014 at 10:18 am

Trust you instead of statistics and facts? oh ok. And I have been to those other countries too, like France, Germany, the UK, and Canada to name a few, and the systems work great. Progressives eded slavery, brought womens suffrage, brough the civil rights movement, the 40 day work week, 5 day work week, workers compensation, workplace safety laws, child labor laws, and even the United States (it was a very progressive idea at the time).

And stop your whining about the amnesty crap, its the same thing every president has done since Regan, who was the biggest criminal we have seen in a long time in that office (over 80 people in his officer were indicted or arrested).

But your screen name ells me a lot, I probably am not going to get anywhere debating with you because like most conservatives, facts dont matter, you are always right.

  107. JSebastian November 3rd, 2014 at 6:22 pm

Nope. Tony is correct. It is true that the actual Tea Party as a registered political organization (PAC) has those affiliations, but the movement, which predated that corporation, the “Tea Party Movement” was nothing more than social gatherings of Libertarians in support of Ron Paul. Somehow (but unsurprisingly) that grass roots momentum (and the conveniently effective branding) found its way into less ideologically pure hands.

    • OldLefty November 3rd, 2014 at 9:03 pm

Because that is not what we saw 3 months after a new government.

The original Tea Party was the antithesis of this crowd.

It was rebelling against taxation without representation. (this crowd was whining because they did not like the representation)

The original Tea Party was protesting the tax cuts to the east India Tea Company (the tax was passed on to the little guys), this crowd was defending the corporate giants.

The original Tea Party destroyed private property.

Hatred isn’t always a bad thing. It depends on what you hate. I personally hate injustice, cruelty and lying to convince people of lies that will give one group of people unfair advantage. Righteous anger is what saves us. Now, it comes down to what someone would define righteous anger to be. Since we are all looking to either keep our lives the way they are or we are looking to make it better. Living in a society demands that we not put ourselves first at all times, but demands that we work together as one entity to achieve that goal for everyone. Not stepping on others to do it. We go nowhere unless we take others with us. How dare anyone like this man, demoralize the rest of us for his own selfish fantasy.

Based on your little picture there, How many chopper pilots do you think would blindly follow a treasonous order and fire on american citizens????That’s right, Not very Many. Bring it???I stand with the American people and the constitution.
Which side are you on? Sounds like your more for tyranny than freedom.

        • OldLefty January 27th, 2015 at 6:45 pm

That’s what THEY say about YOUR ignorance.

We are more worried about the tyranny from YOU guys who think you are the exemplars of law and the Constitution.

By the way, so of us remember Kent State.

          • LongbeardFTW13 January 27th, 2015 at 7:07 pm

First off, I’m a libertarian. I’m not a republican or democrat. Both parties are corrupt and have failed to uphold the constitution. I’m not for tyranny in any form. The constitution is VERY clear and should be the ONLY law of the land, regardless of party affiliation. As far as Kent State goes I didn’t agree with that either!

          • OldLefty January 27th, 2015 at 7:51 pm

[irst off, I’m a libertarian. I’m not a republican or democrat.]
            ________
            So?

[The constitution is VERY clear and should be the ONLY law of the land, regardless of party affiliation.]

            ________

EVERYBODY says, even when they disagree on the interpretation.

        • William January 27th, 2015 at 7:13 pm

          Blah Blah Blah
So what else did Levine and Hannity dump into your empty Fox fed skull today? You apparently don’t know that Jefferson fathered kids with his 14 year old slave huh? Didn’t hear that on the bipolar drunk guy Beck show huh? The founding fathers were for the most part rich white guys that didn’t want to pay taxes. They also owned slaves. Things change, deal with it.
So far you haven’t listed one single solidary thing that this administration has done contrary to the Constitution you know so little about. All you have done here is display your ignorance.
Taxes haven’t been this low since Eisenhower, The President hasn’t signed one single bill into law that in any way interferes with my second amendment rights (OMG Obama is coming for your guns)
Suddenly policies, laws and executive orders that were perfectly acceptable under a white president are unacceptable under a black president.
So tell me cupcake, just what “freedoms” have you lost lately?
          I’ll wait.

          • LongbeardFTW13 January 27th, 2015 at 9:23 pm

First off I don’t give a damn if had 100 kids with a slave. slavery was the order of the day,Its a tough world, I know that tears at your bleeding heart, But every race has suffered at different times throughout history. An Einstein like you should know that. Do I condone slavery? NO. I had nothing to do with it. No one alive today knows a damn thing about it or suffered under it, That’s black or white. I’ve always heard you get wiser with age, but you missed the boat some how, so i’ll educate you like the second grader you are………I guess you some how missed the 23 executive orders on gun control, which all infringe on the second amendment. How about the signing of the United Nations small arms treaty, I guess you missed that too? Executive order 13524, Gives INTERPOL jurisdiction on American soil beyond law enforcement agencies including the FBI. How about the executive order over riding congress on immigration? Article 1, Section 1, states ALL LEGISLATIVE POWER TO BE HELD BY CONGRESS.. Stay with with Einstein. NDAA-Section 1021. Due process rights negated. Violation of 3rd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th amendments. I can go on and on but I don’t have the desire to continue to educate your school boy ass. Your gonna have to open your eyes to whats going on around you or else your grandchildren will be calling each other comrade, But don’t take my word for it, look it up, its all public record!!!!!

          • William January 27th, 2015 at 11:02 pm

Yeah I looked at the 23 so called executive orders on gun control.

Not a single one interferes with a law abiding sane person from owning a gun.

Of course you don’t care about slavery.

No response on the COMPLETE oath (just as I thought, another chickenhawk blathering on and on about freedom).

So the most investigated events in the history of our nation, IE Benghazi, IRS ect. and no indictments, nothing.
Executive orders are not legislative actions. (hence the name dummy)

            Executive order 13524

..Holy sh*t you’re stupid. Have you ever read the order and what it means?

The EO does not automatically place the United States under the authority of INTERPOL. It does not automatically make the U.S. subject to the International Criminal Court. The restrictions can be re-imposed by this, or subsequent presidents – or Congress could amend the original law, if necessary

            http://www.crossroad.to/articles2/010/sovereignty/1-interpol.htm

Do you ever wonder why people roll their eyes and smirk when you pretend to know something about our Government?
BTW, my grandchildren our fine. Comrade? Really, you don’t know anything about Russian history pre or post Potemkin it seems.
Thanks to the efforts of my President, the ruble is in the toilet once again, and my country is doing just fine.
Try reading something once in a while, ignorance isn’t patriotism.

        • William January 27th, 2015 at 7:17 pm

How many chopper pilots do you think would blindly follow a treasonous order and fire on American
When a group of people threaten armed insurrection. I would say all of them.
          Talk about not knowing history.
See Appomattox 1865. (That sh*t was tried once before).

        • William January 27th, 2015 at 8:02 pm

Just one more little item. You can’t cherry pick the oath I took. You need to understand the WHOLE oath.

Here let me help you out.

“I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me”

That would be the orders from the duly and legally elected President in accordance with our Constitution.
Get back to me when you learn something about Democracy.

          • Paul Higley January 29th, 2015 at 2:10 am

It’s not a Democracy. It is a Republic.

  118. Imahippyburning May 11th, 2015 at 9:21 am

Under Barak The HUSSEIN it is becoming Mob Rule!

    • OldLefty May 11th, 2015 at 10:01 am

That’s what WE said about Bush and Reagan too.
You guys said the same thing about Eisenhower and John FITZGERALD Kennedy.

      Come up some original schtick.

  119. Imahippyburning May 11th, 2015 at 9:28 am

“Living in a society demands that we not put ourselves first at all times, but demands that we work together as one entity to achieve that goal for everyone”

Eloquent words, but please show me where the Democratic electorate lives up to any of it? I do not condone any of what this man states but please try to look at what is happening to your own Country and specifically the Democrat party before trying to paint such a rosy and unrealistic picture.

    • OldLefty May 11th, 2015 at 10:04 am

      What’s the “Democrat Party”?

But the Democratic electorate lives up to as much as the money in politics allows.

That is why many are willing to have their taxes raised to invest in the nation.

  120. Imahippyburning May 11th, 2015 at 9:31 am

Lies and Distortions – He is right you are wrong! Created by the Koch’s That’s hysterical! I’m sure you readily call out the corruption when George Soros spends 30 million on hiring professional protesters right? I mean I am sure you are not a hypocrite or anything?

    • John E. Conway May 11th, 2015 at 9:52 am

Pretty sure I provided a link to the article that has a link to the study. If you dont want to educate yourself, that’s fine, the choice is yours. but coming in months after the fact to try to put in your two cents (that are nonsense), is just ridiculous unless you can back your words. My statements are neither lies, nor distortions, and I challenge you to show otherwise.

But yes, if you can provide evidence, real evidence not tinfoil hat crap, that another is doing something corrupt, I will be against it. But if not, sit down and shut your mouth, as you are not doing anything but rabble rousing.

      • Imahippyburning May 11th, 2015 at 11:13 am

Rabble rousing? Is that what you call the Knock out Game! You’re not worthy of another retort!

Liberalism is and always has led to the decay of society! Nuff Said

        • John E. Conway May 13th, 2015 at 10:04 am

You aren’t even replying to what I was talking about. you are so lost it isn’t even funny. Go troll elsewhere, You are way out of your depth.

You were the one rabble rousing, BTW.

  121. Imahippyburning May 11th, 2015 at 9:38 am

Yeah, it is such a wonderful Progressive Cloud isn’t it? I would venture to guess that there are more current Democrats who identify with Progressive Haters than Conservatives as was on full display in Baltimore and Ferguson! Oh, that’s right those type of Mob Rule activities are just a frustrated, well intentioned gathering by a group of like minded Progressives…

I’m sure you are 100% intellectually honest and non hypocritical when you come out vehemently against Muslims when they are busy attacking those violent Christians aren’t you? Your Progressivism is working wonders for the Country, and Foreign Policy? Wow! That is turning out to be a smashing success don’t you think? The next Progressive Cloud will take shape somewhere in the Middle East!

    Bravo!

    • John E. Conway May 11th, 2015 at 9:56 am

You have no idea what was happening in Batlimore and Ferguson if you think it had anything to do with liberals and progressives.

You say a lot, but provide no evidence for anything, because the evidence doesn’t exist. Just like only a small portion of Christians are violent, only a small portion of Muslims are violent. Hating their religion is exactly what the founding fathers wanted to prevent but putting freedom of religion in the constitution.

The funny thing is that you are trolling your own right wing side here.

      • Imahippyburning May 11th, 2015 at 11:12 am

Only a small portion of Muslims are violent? Is that what you call the Middle East and ISIS as we speak? Only a small portion? You’re an ideologue unable to see this for what it is Case Closed The Science is settled. Enjoy The SUCK!

        • John E. Conway May 13th, 2015 at 10:06 am

Yes, only a small portion, just like only a small portion of Christians are. I guess you have never heard of Indonesia and Turkey, and all the other Islamic nations out there not killing people. Extremists in any form are bad, including you.

    • OldLefty May 11th, 2015 at 10:35 am

Yeah, it is such a wonderful Progressive Cloud isn’t it?

      _______

Certainly better than the REGRESSIVE cloud.

      Baltimore?

Look to the war on drugs, the for profit prison system and the fact that Blacks are more likely to be sentenced to prison for the same crime than Whites. One third of people of color sentenced to prison would have received a shorter or non-incarcerative sentence if they had been treated in court the same way as White defendants facing similar charges

Although Black Americans make up only 12.7% of the U.S. population, they make up 48.2% of adults in federal, state, or local prisons and jails. According to the 1998 federal National Household Survey on Drug Abuse (NHSDA), 72% of users were
      White and 15% were Blacks.

Latinos represent just 11.1% of the U.S. population and only 10% of U.S. drug users, yet are 18.6% of the U.S. prison population and 22.5% of those convicted for drug offenses.

On average, 1 in 25 adult American Indians is under the jurisdiction of the nation’s criminal justice system – more than twice the number of White adults in the system.

42.5% of prisoners on Death Row are Black, more than three times the percentage of Black Americans in the national population.

In 2003, in the United States, White people were imprisoned at a rate of 376 perevery 100,000 in the population, compared to 709 per 100,000 American Indians,
997 per 100,000 Latinos and 2,526 per 100,000 Blacks in the population.

      Black males have a 32% chance of serving time in prison at some point in their lives;
Hispanic males have a 17% chance; White males have a 6% chance. If current rates of incarceration continue, about 1 in 3 Black males, 1 in 6 Hispanic males and 1 in 17 White males are expected to go to prison at some point during their lives.

Black youth are more likely to be detained than White
youth. Moreover, Black youth with no prior admissions were six times more likely to be incarcerated in a juvenile facility than a White youth with a similar history. Latino youth were three times more likely to be imprisoned.

Among persons over age 24, Blacks (11.2%) were
significantly more likely to be pulled over while driving than Whites (8.9%).

Among drivers stopped for speeding, Blacks (75.7%)
and Hispanics (79.4%) were more likely than Whites (66.6%) to be ticketed

Police were more likely to conduct a search of the
vehicle and/or driver in traffic stops involving Black male drivers (15.9%) or Hispanic male drivers (14.2%), compared to White male drivers (7.9%).

Liberals and progressives actually are, and they were when they warned YOU not to support radical Islam over the last 70 years, from Pakistan over India, to The Muslim Brotherhood over Nasser, to the Sauds to the BCCI, to Reagan creating al Qaeda, (Remember Remember Pakistani President Benazir Bhutto, telling George H. W. Bush, “You are creating a jihadi Frankenstein.”???)

      Betcha don’t.

      Remember when Osama bin Ladin said;
“We have seen in the last decade the decline of the American government and the weakness of the American soldier. He is ready to wage cold wars but unprepared to fight hot wars. This was proven in Beirut when the Marines fled after two explosions, showing they can run in less than twenty-four hours.”

And when “Bandar bin Sultan said :
“This is ironic. In the mid-’80s, if you remember, we and the United – Saudi Arabia and the United States were supporting the Mujahideen to liberate Afghanistan from the Soviets. He [Osama bin Laden] came to thank me for my efforts to bring the Americans, our friends, to help us against the atheists, he said the
      communists. Isn’t it ironic?”

      Bravo, indeed.

MMMMmmm Yeah, sure, whatever! Never mind what is in front of your eyes, only what is placed inside your head!

          _____

More what I’ve been observing for 40 years, backed up with numbers.

And you didn’t HAVE to mention Blacks or Whites to show us who you are.

          • Imahippyburning May 11th, 2015 at 12:22 pm

Backed up with numbers? Sure, that makes it all official. Just like the “Stats” proving to the world Global Warming is real huh? Remember when you were a teenager and they told you the next Ice Age was coming! Those stats right?

Please spare me and the rest of the free thinking Americans who do not succumb to Political Correctness or the Mob Rule mentality driven by Conformists Lemmings! You immediately jumped into the race card leaving you with one and only one agenda! Too bad Your President’s actions weren’t so transparent!

          • OldLefty May 11th, 2015 at 12:48 pm

Backed up with numbers? Sure, that makes it all official. Just like the “Stats” proving to the world Global Warming is real huh? Remember when you were a teenager and they told you the next Ice Age was coming! Those stats right?

            ______

The realization that very long cycles in earth’s orbit could cause the waxing and waning of ice ages, coupled with the fact that our soot and aerosols were already causing cooling, led some scientists to conclude that we may be headed for another ice age. Exactly when was still a little unclear. However, the warming effects of CO2 had been known for over a century, and new research in the 1970s was showing that CO2 warming would more than compensate for the cooling caused by aerosols, resulting in net warming.

            As far back as the 1970’s;

Climatologists still disagree on whether earth’s long-range outlook is another ice age, which could bring mass starvation and fuel shortages, or a warming trend, which could melt the polar…

            http://content.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,914494,00.html

But things have changed since then, and the predictions are coming true.

Climate science was never my field, but I would certainly trust the scientists funded by the NAS and the NSF, etc over those who are funded by the oil and gas industry (many were previous smoking/health risks deniers funded by the tobacco industry).

Sorry, but you sound EXACTLY like the ilk who who DOES succumb to Political Correctness or the Mob Rule mentality driven by Conformists Lemmings!
That’s what drives the entire right wing, right down to the obedient use of the Pavlovian words from Newt Gingrich’s 1996 GOPAC memo, Language; A Key Mechanism of Control.

No one who reads your post thinks it is anything BUT the race card. Don’t be silly.

And I wouldn’t talk about ANY president’s actions if I were you.

            Don’t be such a sucker.

No I don’t think an AR will protect me from Military gone rouge or from the full might of the Federal Government. But it does not have to. Do you think that the Military with all its marvelous weapon systems and man power can protect the pilots of these to helicopters families? Or do you think the pilots can protect themselves when they are not hunting down American citizens? Do you think you can protect yourself from an AR in the hands of a committed citizen bent on protecting the Constitution and Constitutional governance? Anyone who believes that the US military with all its might can stand in the face of American Citizens and still live among them is mistaken. Either they will have to retreat to the safety of military bases along with their families or they will have to refuse orders to fire on Citizens. There can be no other alternative. The American people (most of us anyway, not you of course because you are a coward and a sympathizer) will not allow a occupation even if it is the US Army. While they can never defeat the Army in battle, neither can the Army protect the soldiers while shopping, dropping their kids off at school, while eating dinner with the wife, while shopping for shoes or spending the evening out at the movies, let alone while sleeping in their beds. And if you think it can, now that is cute.

So no, citizens can never defeat the military. Citizen can, and have repeatedly throughout history defeat the will to occupy. And while we are discussing that little chestnut let me ask you if you know what usually happens to those citizens who support, defend and sympathize with the occupier? Care to take a guess.

Now I am not advocating anything here, just giving you a view from the other side. It is my belief that this type of insurrection will not come to pass. I pray that it does not since violence is abhorrent to me. But rather that than to be shackled with a soft tyranny. It is important to remember that too many laws are every bit as bad as too few. We are fast approaching too many laws.
