[su_right_ad]Duck Dynasty patriarch Phil Robertson is campaigning for his nephew, Zach Dasher, who is running for congress.

Dasher — the Duck Dynasty clansman who blamed the Sandy Hook massacre on Richard Dawkins and claimed “YOLO” was an atheist conspiracy — released a campaign advertisement featuring his famous uncle…

In the short video, “Duck Commander” Phil Robertson can be seen sporting an assault rifle in one hand and a tattered copy of the Bible in the other.

“Hey Louisiana,” he begins. “Bibles and guns brought us here, and Bibles and guns will keep us here. Zach Dasher believes in both, that’s why I’m voting for him.”

….if the Duck Dynasty looks good to you, you might be a goober.

      • Ralph October 30th, 2014 at 2:05 pm

No God in Tennessee Urban Legends say this is the real deal. In fact, the principal of the high school has been asked for “reprints” of his speech.

        At a Tennessee Football Game—not a joke.

Christianity is now the target of persecution…

THIS IS AS GOOD AS IT GETS!

GOD BLESS EVERYONE WHO READS THIS AND PASSES IT ON.

I FIND IT INTERESTING THAT A HIGH SCHOOL PRINCIPAL CAN SEE THE PROBLEM, BUT OUR SOCIETY CANNOT.

        Tennessee Football

This is a statement that was read over the PA system at the football game at Roane County High School, Kingston,

Tennessee, by school principal, Jody McLeod

“It has always been the custom at Roane County High School football games, to say a prayer and play the National Anthem, to honor God and Country.”

Due to a recent ruling by the Supreme Court, I am told that saying a Prayer is a violation of Federal Case Law. As I understand the law at
this time, I can use this public facility to approve of sexual perversion and call it “an alternate life style,”and, if someone is offended, that’s OK.

I can use it to condone sexual promiscuity, by dispensing condoms and calling it, “safe sex.”

If someone is offended, that’s OK.

I can even use this public facility to present the merits of killing an unborn baby as a “viable” means of birth control.”

If someone is offended, no problem…

I can designate a school day as “Earth Day” and involve students in activities to worship religiously and praise the goddess, “Mother Earth”, and call it “ecology..”

I can use literature, videos and presentations in the classroom that depicts people with strong, traditional Christian convictions as “simple minded” and “ignorant” and call it “enlightenment..”

However, if anyone uses this facility to honor GOD and to ask HIM to bless this event with safety and good sportsmanship, then Federal Case Law is violated.

This appears to be inconsistent at best, and at worst, diabolical.

Apparently, we are to be tolerant of everything and anyone, except GOD and HIS Commandments.

Nevertheless, as a school principal, I frequently ask staff and students to abide by rules with which they do not necessarily agree.

For me to do otherwise would be inconsistent at best, and at worst, hypocritical.

I suffer from that affliction enough unintentionally.

I certainly do not need to add an intentional transgression.

For this reason, I shall “Render unto Caesar that which is Caesar’s,”
and refrain from praying at this time.

“However, if you feel inspired to honor, praise and thank GOD and ask HIM, in the name of JESUS, to bless this event, please feel free to do so..

As far as I know, that’s not against the law–yet.”

One by one, the people in the stands bowed their heads, held hands with one another and began to pray.

        They prayed in the stands.

They prayed in the team huddles.

They prayed at the concession stand and they prayed in the Announcer’s Box!

The only place they didn’t pray was in the Supreme Court of the United States of America-the Seat of “Justice” in the “one nation, under GOD.”

Somehow, Kingston, Tennessee, remembered what so many have forgotten.

We are given the Freedom OF Religion, not the Freedom FROM
Religion Praise GOD that HIS remnant remains!

JESUS said,”If you are ashamed of ME before men, then I will
be ashamed of you before MY FATHER..”

If you are not ashamed, pass this on I’m not one bit ashamed to pass this on, are you?

You may call yourself a christian, but by the self imposed standards they set, you fail. You are NOT a ‘good’ christian. You a lair and a deceiver. and the truth is not in you.

          • Ralph October 30th, 2014 at 4:04 pm

As I recall strike the log out of your eye, only God can Judge another; Satan will only Deceive and destroy…

          • CMathues October 30th, 2014 at 5:31 pm

Just so you know Ralph….the cast of Duck Dynasty are members of the Church of Christ….unless you are a member of said church….you are going to Hell in a handbasket, so tell me, which version of Christianity is right?
I really want to know because I am a spiritual person who loves God, Jesus, Allah, The Universe, My Higher Power….but still can’t find the “right” church….they all keep tellig me I’m going to hell!

          • mea_mark October 30th, 2014 at 6:31 pm

Like you are trying to deceive us? You said … White House with 7 Muslim Brotherhood Cabinet Members. That is not true. Are you in league with Satan? Are you the wolf in sheep’s clothing spreading deceptions and lies in an effort to stir up fear and hate? Question your own soul and judge yourself before you expect anyone here to take as anything more than a hypocrite.

          • Budda October 30th, 2014 at 4:03 pm

            That’s what I said.

The Muslim Brotherhood has enjoyed a comfortable position in the thick of White House Policy, being directly involved in policy making and privy to classified information sitting even on the Presidential Cabinet as a Department of Homeland Security adviser. As of September 4th, the Muslim Brotherhood was down one cabinet position as one of the most outspoken Muslim Brotherhood members on Twitter, Mohammed Elibiary, resigned his position.

The closest you get to a cabinet member is Ms. Abedin. The lady’s been vetted 8 ways from Sunday and is loved and respected by noted peacenik and brotherhood member John McCain. The rest, uh-uh. Some govm’t employees, the rest private citizens. You know, it’s not only old white guys that get to work in or participate in the government.

    • Ralph October 30th, 2014 at 1:52 pm

      • Khary A October 30th, 2014 at 2:03 pm

Oh good you stuck around, I was hoping you would. If there were no guns or bibles chances are slim that we would be speaking German. ( stupidest statement of the day award) First of all the American Natives would most likely still be in control of this continent. Second without that fiction you call the bible we would probably all be a lot happier without the notion of superiority and scraping for the pissed out gifts of a usurper deity. If your looking to be rude, delusional and small while you wave that blood drenched banner for your corpse god then be ready to reap the weight of the hate it truly deserves.

I agree with him. Blind belief in christianity has created a class of bigots and haters, and blind belief in guns has created a dangerous, deadly society. Both have gotten us where we are today; steeped in ignorance and fear, and with 30,000 people a year killed by guns.

      “…us where we are today,,,”
Would that be the greatest nation on earth, in all it’s history… the nation that is first to send help to other nations, be it a natural disaster or freeing an occupied nation(s)…the nation that landed on the moon… the nation that gives more in charity per capita than any other nation as well as its government?
Nothing, no person, no nation, no man-made thing is perfect but this nation is w/out a doubt the best thing going.

Perhaps you mean the nation that brutally displaced an entire race of indigenous people. Maybe you are talking about the nation that
enslaved an entire race of people that didn’t even ask to be here. Oh I get it…you mean the nation founded on equality, oh wait that was equality for white males only. Where is this great nation you speak of?
This nation is the best thing going? Geeze, you don’t get out much do you?

Oh good lord, what drivel. Keep those actions in context of when just a bit, ok?

          • Roctuna October 30th, 2014 at 7:12 pm

So genocide and slavery are OK if it’s the right time? You’re sick. My view.

          • Spirit of America October 30th, 2014 at 7:16 pm

Nope, according to today’s standard, neither is right(nor did I say so), I said put it into context of the time, which you seem to judge by today’s standard, even while leaving out sooooo many other nations did same and even more. You want to hate the usa so much you give up using common sense.
            My view.

          • Roctuna October 30th, 2014 at 8:05 pm

So moral issues are contextual? That’s the kind of relativism that liberals are accused of.

          • Spirit of America October 31st, 2014 at 3:06 am

I see part of the problem. Actually, when I said “in all it’s history”, I was referring to earth’s history.
Maybe my fault, improper use of comma?

      • Roctuna October 30th, 2014 at 5:48 pm

“the nation first to send help to other nations” It seems you’ve forgotten that we’d still be speaking the kings english were it not for the money, arms, supplies, navy and officers provided by the French. I suggest you read something besides a compilation of fairy tales, such as a book of US history.

        • Spirit of America October 30th, 2014 at 6:29 pm

LOL LOL, um, yea… we weren’t a nation but a few years total… I suggest you use common sense.

          • Roctuna October 30th, 2014 at 7:02 pm

As expected, you totally miss the point.

          • Spirit of America October 30th, 2014 at 7:14 pm

I didn’t miss it, you didn’t state it. What you did state was history of how we received help(and thus exist), not addressing modern history pertaining to my statement.

read his books they aren’t racially biased and the make believe stuff is actually attainable.

Mark Twain said something similar–to the effect that the best cure for christianity was to read the bible. “Bible Study” is one of the word’s greatest oxymorons–emphasis on the “moron” part.

Louisiana, right? The David Vitter crowd. Connects with hookers and gets re-elected.
This candidate is endorsed by an admitted pedophile and will no doubt win his election.

Who is this idiot??? Why is he getting coverage ??? Looks like an escaped buffalo hunter in dire need of a bath and delousing

No matter how hard they try, inbreeding simply doesn’t work. The genetic damage almost always produces failed organisms such as the Duck Commander. Incapable of rational thought and recognizing reality they would perish in a world not geared to reward complete and total incompetence. A perfect example of the Peter Principal when applied to fame and fortune.
