Pastor James David Manning, who is totally not a scientist, offers his thoughts on the Ebola virus. Manning really hates Obama but there’s one thing he hates even more: gay people. He’s the Harlem pastor who believes “Obama has released the homo demons.”

[su_center_ad]In the “Manning Report,” the pastor who heads the ATLAH Worldwide Church in New York City, blamed Ebola on the gays, and of course he pointed to their headquarters, Starbucks.

In a video titled “Stay Away From Starbucks,” he deems the chain store as “ground zero” for the spread of Ebola in the United States.

It’s all your fault, Starbola!

He explains, “Starbucks coffee stores are indeed ground zero for spreading Ebola and other diseases, because of the clientele of Starbucks.”

Oh, and also bowling.

AddictingInfo reports, “In case you weren’t already disgusted enough with Manning, he goes on to claim that Dr. Craig Spencer, who contacted Ebola while working with Doctors Without Borders in New Guinea, took his fiance’ to a bowling alley in Brooklyn because it’s also place where ‘sodomites’ congregate.”

Watch:

I don’t want to be a know-it-all but you cannot catch Ebola from walking into Starbucks. Or by going to a gay bar. Or by bowling. You have to swap fluids in order to catch it. In the U.K., they treat nurses who are suspected of being infected by the Ebola virus as heroes. Here, they are demonized.

Sometimes a coffee shop is just a coffee shop.

The worst case scenario, as presented by actual scientists, suggests only 130 potential cases in the U.S. There is nothing in that report about Starbucks or gay people. But if you want to freak out and run around the room with your hands in the air screaming, ‘The Ebolas are gonna get me!” then be our guest. Just be sure to tape it and send us a link to the video. [su_csky_ad]

So I made a comment using a quote from the story and it went to moderation, then got deleted. I assume it was the h*** demons. What’s up with that?

    • KABoink_after_wingnut_hacker November 2nd, 2014 at 9:29 am

Sometimes it just takes a little while.

    • mea_mark November 2nd, 2014 at 9:30 am

It is not in pending or deleted folder. It just got lost for some unknown inexplicable reason.

I’ve heard elsewhere that Disqus is misbehaving today.

Disqus is often a mess but it does no moderating.

  6. William November 2nd, 2014 at 9:52 am

These so called “clergy” ran out of Gods words long ago, and now simply make up their own to fit whatever self contradictory paranoia that occupies the festering waste dump located between their ears.

    • Larry Schmitt November 2nd, 2014 at 10:10 am

Jebus wasn’t even alive then. That was old school. I mean old testament.

      • Linda1961 November 2nd, 2014 at 10:55 am

And when Jesus was alive, he never mentioned homosexuals, which means he didn’t consider them particularly evil. Maybe he just thought of them as people. Strange concept, right?

        • M D Reese November 2nd, 2014 at 4:03 pm

A lot of folks think that he may have been gay.

    • M D Reese November 2nd, 2014 at 4:02 pm

What’s really funnier than all get out is that the whole sodom and gomorrah thing was about a man who pimped out his daughters to a gang of angels. How they came up with a hatred for gay people due to the disgusting behavior of straight people and supernatural beings is beyond me.

  7. Jake November 2nd, 2014 at 10:05 am

1 person dead from ebola in the US in 300 years – 3 people dead in the US from guns every hour – hmmmm – way to tackle the important issues you tax-dodging moron!

    TAX the CHURCHES!

  8. Larry Schmitt November 2nd, 2014 at 10:05 am

I’ll try again. “H**o demons”? Is that a new branch of our family tree? From h**o sapiens to “h**o demons.” The stoopid keeps getting stoopider.

    • tiredoftea November 2nd, 2014 at 10:08 am

It does have a nice ring to it, though. I’ll think about at Starbucks.

  9. tiredoftea November 2nd, 2014 at 10:11 am

Is he going to be pissed when he finds out about the first Starbucks inside the soon to be open Harlem Bowling Lounge!

This man is obviously mentally ill. He shouldn’t be allowed to ‘preach’ much less walk the streets.

as stupid as he is, I have to say people like my neighbor who struggles to make it and believes in climate change, sees his union is what got him his benefits, counts on his retirement pension, and several other things the Republicans oppose, but then he turns around and votes for them because his daddy was a Republican and he has always voted Republican. He even takes great pride in the fact he will not be a Democrat. So which is more stupid, this preacher or those like my neighbor who vote against their own best interest?

    • allison1050 November 2nd, 2014 at 1:02 pm

      It’s a draw for stupid.

  13. AnthonyLook November 2nd, 2014 at 1:49 pm

President Obama’s African American heritage, sure exposed and shed light on how deep racism continues its existence in America.
