A 3-year-old Ohio girl is listed in critical condition after she was shot in the head Sunday morning by her 4-year-old brother, according to police.

Police deemed the shooting to be accidental.

[su_center_ad]Officers were called about 10:00 a.m. to a residence and found a man holding his daughter, who suffered a gunshot wound to the head.

Cleveland.com reports that police officers on the scene learned that the boy and girl were playing in a room by themselves when the boy got his hands on the gun.

When the boy accidentally pulled the trigger, he and shot his sister, police said.

There were three other people in the home at the time of the shooting. The gun was recovered from the scene, according to police.

The Lorain County Prosecutor is reviewing the incident to determine if charges will be filed, because we all know that guns don’t kill people. It’s the bullets that propel out of them with an extraordinary amount of lethal force. [su_csky_ad]

Hey, c’mon, give the Gun Nuts a break. That girl had 3 whole years of LibburTEA, defended by the All-Mitee Second Amendment, before her brother shot her in the head. Some places in the world, people go their whole lives with nary a day o’ Gawd-fearin’ All-American He-Manly LibburTEA. So 3 years — I mean, that ain’t bad.

Another second Amendment tragedy while the nation is gripped in fear by Ebola.

No charges of reckless endangerment will be filed against the adult owner of the gun. Hurray. Another NRA victory.

Call it what it is: criminal negligence.

“Police deemed the shooting to be accidental.” Unfuckingbelievable! There is nothing accidental about a loaded gun that is easily taken and used by a four year old! This should be criminal negligence and the adult owner arrested and charged with a felony, at least.

My personal preference is for the adult be given a life sentence and forced to read aloud every news article about children killing or injuring other children until their hoped for timely death. Those readings should also be on video’d and emailed to every living NRA member (the dead ones don’t have internet access) and that emailed video should be multiplied by every child death or injury, ever, in a special delivery to the NRA’s management and Board of Director’s, sick fucks that they are.

I can’t remember if I posted this here or not, but it’s as timely today as it was then. This is Archie Bunker pontificating about gun rights–see if you can spot the talking points that were different then. (Trick question–they are exactly the same)

        Good old Archie!

One of the “family” channels here is running All in the Family and Barney Miller–classics!

I loved Archie’s solution to sky-jacking. It’s the same solution that today’s NRA has for school shootings.

If there were Adults in the home, I would not go as far to say this was ‘Accidental’!!! BS, someone must be held accountable!!!!

A child getting their hands on a gun is never an accident.
