[su_right_ad]Hey, remember a few months ago, when the media tried desperately to convince you that all that Republican talk of impeachment was all in the Democrats’ heads? Now that Republicans are perched to possibly control both houses of Congress, and make good on the threat, it’s baaaack! On MSNBC’s The Daily Rundown Tuesday morning, fill-in host Ari Melber asked RNC Chairman and Buster Bluth stunt-double Reince Priebus about a new poll that shows 57% of Republicans saying they would carry a protest sign, and the top answer for what those signs would say was “impeach Obama.”

Naturally, since the GOP could take control of the Senate today, Melber asked, “If you do win the Senate, should people be worried about you impeaching Obama? Or is that off the table?”

Priebus’ response was conspicuously not a “yes, it’s off the table,” but not conspicuous enough for Melber, who cluelessly followed up by saying “Impeachment would be off the table? Am I reading you right?”

See if Priebus is clear enough for you…READ MORE[su_csky_ad]

I just posted a comment on DB and figured I’d repeat the point here:

I don’t think Melber was being clueless at all.
He was trying to strengthen it by prodding Reince to say “no, it’s not off the table”.

But he messed up by asking the second question about what bills they would pass, before Reince could answer the first question about impeachment.
Reince was shaking his head “no” and about to deny that impeachment was off the table, but was given an out and he jumped on it.

Zero grounds for impeachment. The Republicans are going to play the same games over and over with no substance or direction and in 2016 they will lose big time and the party will crumble into oblivion…

a good way for the do nothing Republiklans to spend 2 years doing nothing while telling the people what ‘hard work’ that yields zilch they’ve been up to. -oh, and in case the WHITE Southern Conservatives haven’t noticed, POTUS Obama is an ‘Hawaiian’.

If 4 DEAD Americans in Benghazi is an impeachable offense, GW and Crew should have been sent to the Hague for trial and execution a long time ago.

If rebuilding the US Manufacturing Economy one slow pace at a time with GOPs kicking and screaming every step of the way is an impeachable offense, offshore banking needs to be seized and all monies originating from the US Treasury returned with appropriate penalties, interest and fees.

About the only grounds I see available would be being born in Hawaii not pure lily white – which should be cause for national celebration – unless of course, you happen to be a WHITE RACIST REPUBLICAN.

23.8% of voters remain registered Republicans so 57% of GOP is 13.5% of voters saying they would carry a protest sign, and “the top answer” for what those signs would say was “impeach Obama.” is less than 10% who don’t know Issa’s 50 weeks of hearing per year delivered “0 indictments.” Remaining repub voters are the most gullible on Earth and likely in the known universe. Most voters favor an “impeach Issa!” trial.
