[su_right_ad]When conservatives next blame President Obama for not cooperating with Congress, pull out this one.

House Speaker John A. Boehner (R-Ohio) is considering expanding a proposed federal lawsuit over President Obama’s executive orders to include action on immigration. Filing a separate lawsuit over the president’s authority to protect millions of undocumented immigrants from deportation is another option that gained traction Thursday during talks among party leaders.

The idea to use the courts as an initial means of dissent, should the president move forward in the coming weeks to protect millions from deportation, moved to the front of the House GOP’s playbook after the leadership reviewed it. Boehner reportedly wants to respond forcefully and quickly should the president act and believes a lawsuit would do that, as well as signal to conservatives in his conference that he shares their frustrations about the president’s use of executive power.[su_csky_ad]

Has anyone told him that he’s the Speaker of the House of Representatives and he can introduce, debate and vote on legislation? Anybody?

    • Tommy6860 November 13th, 2014 at 8:45 pm

Why should he, the result of this past election doesn’t give him any pause to ponder his position, though the obvious unwillingness of the masses to vote in a change?

I am disgusted by this country allowing and encouraging such racism and disrespt toward the President

its quite an embarrassment that’s for sure.

        • fahvel November 14th, 2014 at 4:31 am

the president? what about the deeply instilled racism that has never left your country’s social milieu?

        • Wayout November 14th, 2014 at 8:08 am

See, you like this dictatorship, don’t you? The man has no respect because he has lied to us time and time again. And it is not racism, but his leftist ideology that we hate. Put someone like NYC mayor Bill DeBlasio as president and I can guarantee you we patriots would feel the same way. So get off this racist charge, it makes you look childish.

See, you like this dictatorship, don’t you? …

            ______

EXACTLY what WE have BEEN saying about the Republicans and their authoritarianism.

From WaterGate to Iran-Contra, to the “Unitary Executive” the the Super legislators in black robes, we on the left have been warning you for decades about the encroaching right wing dictatorship.

Either you didn’t know, or you didn’t care.

It’s the old IOKIYAR; It’s OK If You’re A Republican
But why let facts get in the way?

  3. searambler November 13th, 2014 at 9:10 pm

John Boehner. A man who is really bad at his job…..

  4. Obewon November 13th, 2014 at 9:16 pm

The Boehner suit is so empty two legal teams refused to file GOP’s Frivolous fantasy.

  5. Budda November 13th, 2014 at 10:23 pm

Still waving the law suit threat around John?

  6. crc3 November 14th, 2014 at 12:05 am

Well…what’s it gonna be Mr Boner…lawsuit or impeachment? Spending more taxpayers money on worthless grandstanding and the Teapubs fall from grace at the same time. Looking better all the time for a Dem sweep in ’16!

    • whatthe46 November 14th, 2014 at 12:24 am

      it sure is looking better.

    • cattnipp November 17th, 2014 at 11:47 pm

he has tried to hire 2 different major law-firms, but they just look at the claims and the complete lack of any credible wrongdoing and refuse to take Boehner’s case

    A big yawn here.

  8. Allan Kim Harrison November 14th, 2014 at 7:38 am

Apparently Obama thinks he’s a dictator.

    • cattnipp November 17th, 2014 at 11:45 pm

if he was a dictator….. would folks be allowed to say he was??? why don’t you go over to North Korea and call their leader a dictator…… Obama just ignores you fools, a real dictator would have a televised broadcast of you being fed to the dogs…. to help others remember to stay in line

  9. Wayout November 14th, 2014 at 8:05 am

And this is happening because Obama is taking the first shot. But really, the problem goes back to when Barry was a little and only child and his leftist mother and grandparents never said no to him. Now little Barry is president and he will not take no for an answer, even from the U.S. Constitution, the great document that he swore to uphold.

    • OldLefty November 14th, 2014 at 8:28 am

And this is happening because Obama is taking the first shot.

      _____

The first shot was when the GOP decided that their only strategy was to deny the president who was elected by the majority of Americans any bi-partisan victories and to block any and all legislation in the midst of the greatest financial crisis we experienced since 1929, counting on the voters blaming the Democrats for their unprecedented obstruction.

As former Sen. George Voinovich goes on record telling … “If Obama was

for it, we had to be against it. “He [McConnell] wanted everyone to hold the
fort. All he cared about was making sure Obama could never have a clean victory.”

And
they had a meeting at the Caucus Room , Frank Luntz, and senior GOP members
worked out a plan on Inauguration day, 2009, to repeatedly block Obama over the
coming four years to try to ensure he would not be re-elected.

And after little Georgie and his wet brain syndrome, I would hardly tout your fictional Obama.
Either you didn’t know or you didn’t care.

    • OldLefty November 14th, 2014 at 8:33 am

Barry was a little and only child and his leftist mother and grandparents never said no to him.

      _______

      Wow!!
That’s amazing that you were there while Obama was growing up.
      Were you a neighbor?

Funny how between Clinton and Obama, you guys really are dripping with contempt for those who actually DID what you claim to admire; came up from nothing with hard work and perseverance as opposed to YOUR silver spoon candidates.
