[su_right_ad]Attorney for Bill Cosby, John P. Schmitt, says his client won’t dignify rape allegations that are “decades old” and “discredited.”

“The fact that they are being repeated does not make them true,” Schmitt said in a statement. “Mr. Cosby does not intend to dignify these allegations with any comment.”

That statement came one day after NPR broadcast an awkward interview with Cosby — awkward because Cosby did not utter one word when repeatedly asked about the charges against him…

Cosby, the iconic star of the classic TV sitcom “The Cosby Show,” has never been charged with a crime, and his representatives have steadfastly denied the accusations in the past.

But the allegations have resurfaced with momentum this month amid new news accounts, comments from comedians, and reactions on social networking websites. One of Cosby’s accusers, Barbara Bowman, spoke out in a number of interviews on CNN this week.[su_csky_ad]

    The silence is deafening …
A simple denial or “my attorney told me not to comment” would go a long way…

Must be nice to afford an attorney to speak for you..
I hope the Cos is innocent..
Then I wonder about settlements he has paid to keep his accusers silent…

I think there has to be something to this story, and Silence is not always Golden… Suxz to see him going through this, but it only holds merit if he never says anything about it???

I’m going to leave this to the Cos’s attorneys…
        and take their advise…(no comment)..;)

I would rather talk about music than Bill Cos..
My mistake was commenting about Cosby..
should have been sweeping the snow off the sidewalk…

Hard telling if there was a Crime committed, it could have been a one night stand he does not want to admit…

        • StoneyCurtisll November 16th, 2014 at 4:22 pm

Could have been a lot of things…
I’m not even sure why this is making the 24 hour news cycle..
What Cosby did 30 years ago means little to me..:)
