[su_right_ad]Mitt Romney, who forgot that he lost to Barack Obama, wants to remind the president that he lost in the midterms.

Romney reiterated his belief that the president has been “inept” on Middle East policy, asserting that it was a mistake to declare “no boots on the ground” in the region. “It is not acceptable for ISIS to present the kind of threat it does to the world,” the former governor said after suggesting the “no boots” remark will necessarily prove contradictory…

As for the possibility of Obama taking executive action to overhaul policy and protect millions of undocumented immigrants currently in the states, Romney said: “The president has got to learn that he lost this last election round.”

Romney stated that the midterm elections were a referendum on Obama policies, and that because the Democrats faced a wave of congressional defeats, it’s time for the president to listen to what the GOP has to say on an issue like immigration.[su_csky_ad]

Obama Needs To Learn That He Lost
    _________

And he should give that just much weight as Republicans did when THEY lost in 2008 and 2012.

As former Sen. George Voinovich goes on record telling … “If Obama
    was
for it, we had to be against it. “He [McConnell] wanted everyone to hold
the fort. All he cared about was making sure Obama could never have a clean victory.”

  2. Suzanne McFly November 16th, 2014 at 2:11 pm

He lost according to 27% of the voting public who also voted to increase the minimum wage and legalization. These people were not voting against Obama and his policies, they were voting against the government which happens to have Obama as the selected leader who was chosen by millions of more voters.

    • FrankenPC . November 16th, 2014 at 2:41 pm

It’s true. Due to congressional obstruction, the approval rating of the entire government has fallen to amazing lows. In a way, the Republicans won because they are losers.

      Only in America.

Any moment the results from Cuyahoga County should be coming in, Mitt!

    • Larry Schmitt November 16th, 2014 at 2:25 pm

Fox hasn’t called it yet, Karl Rove is still holding out hope.

Let’s have Meghan run down and get confirmation that Ohio is still up for grabs!

        • M D Reese November 16th, 2014 at 4:28 pm

I loved that–I had just flipped over to Fox that night to see how they were taking it. Megyn’s long walk down the hall to Fox’s election central–which appeared to be two guys and a bunch of lap tops beating feet out the door—I laughed and laughed.

          • Candide Thirtythree November 17th, 2014 at 9:30 am

The best part is when she asked Rove if that was republican math…she admitted on live TV that republicans do not use real math. Awesome!

          • M D Reese November 17th, 2014 at 2:52 pm

Yes! I’d forgotten about the math–too funny.

You really DO have too much fun, don’t you?
I like to let people know I’m coming up on them as well–and here it’s good to make noise when in the woods so that the black bears can avoid you.
The people who get me are the ones who go out hiking/biking with ear buds on. We had a guy do that up here, went for a walk with his dog while wearing ear buds. A bear ripped his dog to shreds just a few yards away and he never heard a damn thing. I hope he never has another dog.

          • rg9rts November 19th, 2014 at 2:05 pm

I bird so my ears are always open

          • M D Reese November 19th, 2014 at 4:55 pm

I watch the birds too–not professionally–but I enjoy them and identifying them. I live in the woods, 100ft from the beach, and up over a shop so my house is like a tree house. I can watch the birds from my table here, or step out on the deck or go down to the beach for a better look at the marine birds. In fact, a bald eagle just cruised by at eye level. I love it here.

  11. Angelo_Frank November 16th, 2014 at 3:42 pm

Just 36.3 percent of eligible voters cast votes — the worst turnout in 72 years. That doesn’t come close to being a “referendum” Mr. Romney.

    • mea_mark November 16th, 2014 at 5:59 pm

My Dad figured out that because most of the states where they won are mainly low population rural states, that it took less than 15% of the population of the US to hand over control of the Senate to the republicans. It is a damned shame when 15% of the population, that is manipulated by sound bites and misinformation can have more power than 85% of the nation. 15% manipulated by the 1% with their money has given us the government we have just elected. Sobering thought?

      • DaChi Inyourdreams Wakefield November 16th, 2014 at 7:57 pm

Manipulation and soundbites? Where do you get your information? Hopefully not the liberal media that won’t even cover that huge story about Jonathan Gruber who openly admitted in a class setting on video to purposely writing Obamacare deceitfully to get pass the “stupid” and “unsophisticated” American voter, calling the American voter who supported Obamacare “stupid” on at least 4 occasions

        • Candide Thirtythree November 17th, 2014 at 9:24 am

YOU are the stupid and unsophisticated American.

          • DaChi Inyourdreams Wakefield November 17th, 2014 at 9:29 am

Why call me stupid and unsophisticated? I didn’t support Obamacare. I never called supporters of Obamacare stupid and unsophisticated. The writer of Obamacare did. lol

          • Candide Thirtythree November 17th, 2014 at 9:35 am

LOL, he was calling YOU the stupid and unsophisticated ones that needed to be made to take your medicine. The ones who were for it never needed any coaxing.

          • DaChi Inyourdreams Wakefield November 17th, 2014 at 9:59 am

No. He specifically referenced the voters who believed his deceptive writing of that law. He admitted being deceptive in the writing of it to deceive the gullible into supporting it. They knew all along the numbers did not add up. The only way for ppl to get coverage and for the system to work is to get healthy ppl to pay for the unhealthy. He explained all this in the videos. This was basically a ploy to usher us all into a single payer system that no one would have voted for. He called the supporters of Obamacare “stupid” & “unsophisticated”. YouTube it. It’s like you’re trying hard to score on the wrong side of the basketball court.

        • R.J. Carter November 17th, 2014 at 9:32 am

Five now. Five-and-a-half if you count the video of Nancy Pelosi disavowing knowledge of him abutted with her mentioning him by name during the promotion of the bill pre-signing.

      • DaChi Inyourdreams Wakefield November 16th, 2014 at 8:16 pm

Wow, so the very ppl liberal voters support and defend tooth and nail calls them stupid and unsophisticated. They pretty much see the liberal voter as useful idiots. Why stand for that? Please excuse my blasphemy, but I have to say that only Fox News is covering this story. See ironically, they got your back while the liberal networks are ignoring this because of their bias. They won’t cover stories they don’t like, no matter how significant and important it is. That is the cold hard truth. I wouldn’t waste my time giving them ratings for this very reason. They are not reliable news sources. They are apologists who cover for the very ppl who call you stupid and unsophisticated.

        • Blondie Blue November 17th, 2014 at 6:58 am

NO THE COLD HARD FACTS ARE Faux Fox IS Anything BUT A True News Source. They have Admitted in a court of law that they LIE AND DECISIVE THEIR VIEWERS!
          Faux Fox is PATHETIC!!

        • Candide Thirtythree November 17th, 2014 at 9:23 am

There is NO story, FOX LIES… in 2002 Fox went to court to win the right to LIE to you over the public airwaves and they WON! Fox is the ONLY media outlet to go to court to argue that LYING is free speech. most of the other outlets lie too but they did not get a court decree that allowed them unlimited lies, ONLY Fox did that.

Your leaders call you the stupid party, they know their base, you are the stupid and unsophisticated, even the definition of the word conservative means stupid and unsophisticated!!

        • highpckts November 17th, 2014 at 10:22 am

Oh my God! Obviously you aren’t an educated black man! If you believe the drivel that comes from Faux then you also have no common sense!!

  12. veggiedude November 16th, 2014 at 3:47 pm

Why should there be AMERICAN boots on the ground? It is not our war. Let the Arab nations deal with it, they need to step up, and we can support them with air strikes, drones and advisors. Obama doing the right thing. BTW, Obama won. Twice.

    • DaChi Inyourdreams Wakefield November 16th, 2014 at 7:44 pm

Obama won twice. So…what is better in your life as a result of his being the president for 6 years?

      • veggiedude November 16th, 2014 at 10:40 pm

Obama did not build the system, he just put it back into health. The system is geared to the rich. Corporations are making record profits. The system is broke and upping the min wage would be a good start in peoples lives. In Denmark a McDonalds worker gets US $20 per hr. Bringing affordable health care to millions is a big benefit for all.

      • Blondie Blue November 17th, 2014 at 6:43 am

Folks like me who have pre-existing conditions are able to get health insurance. My son who is under 26 can stay on my insurance, and we didn’t need to break the bank to pay for insurance.
For those that Blame the President for saying “You can keep your insurance” Might want to put the Damn Blame where it belongs. On the Insurance companies, & THEIR employers. They are the one’s that Jacked up their prices, & Dropped folks NOT THE PRESIDENT!!
As usual he gets the blame for EVERYTHING.
The man is So Powerful! He can control everything even the weather!
Robme is a Douche Bag just like the rest of his Do Nothing party!!

        • DaChi Inyourdreams Wakefield November 17th, 2014 at 8:47 am

No. It’s the president’s signature law and it is imploding right before our very eyes. This law is not what it was sold to be. Those talking points that you bring up is exactly why the architect of Obamacare called you supporters of this law “stupid” & “unsophisticated” after he openly admitted that he wrote the law deceptively to get it passed. But you probably didn’t get that memo because your trusted liberal media networks won’t cover this huge story. While ur supporting them, they are calling you “stupid” and “unsophisticated”. This should anger u that they see u as a useful idiot.

          • Candide Thirtythree November 17th, 2014 at 9:18 am

You are the one with taking point LIES from the GOP, everything they say is a lie and you just parrot it back because you are too stupid to even realize that you are being lied to.

Is Obama perfect? HELL NO! but you baggers are the stupid party according to your OWN GOP leaders, and you are a disaster!

You have already caused enough death and destruction in this country and your politicians cannot win a single election without cheating.

There is NO liberal media, it is all corporate media so that makes it ALL right wing.

If it was liberal, then they would tell the truth and ask your clowns real questions instead of tossing them softballs and not calling them out on all of their lies.

The fact checking sites have checked the facts and they say the republicans LIE 300% more than democrats.

Ergo, you and everyone on your team are nothing but liars.

Imploding right before your eyes???> Please sight your sources. Not what everyone else hears.

          • DaChi Inyourdreams Wakefield November 17th, 2014 at 12:41 pm

Sight my sources? I did. I said YouTube it. The videos of Jonathan Gruber (who wrote Obamacare) called you liberal voters “stupid” & “unsophisticated” on at least 4 occasions. Your beloved liberal media is blackballing the story because they were the fools who stood behind Obama and Obamacare and are liberal apologists. If you ppl are going to disagree with me, do so with valid arguments rather than with just emotion with zero content that does not answer the topic that’s in disagreement.

      • Candide Thirtythree November 17th, 2014 at 9:10 am

Everything, Bush destroyed the whole world’s economy or can’t you even remember back 6 years when your guy put the US in a depression, not a recession, a full blown depression.
My 401k and my daughter’s 401k are back to where it was before Bush wiped out the economy.

Bush started TWO wars just to pad his stock portfolio, my kids were in the military at the time so I never had single decent night’s sleep. I sleep like a baby now.

Six months after 9/11 Bush said that he was not even looking for Bin Laden but Obama took him out, more good sleep.

The premiums on my health insurance went down thanks to Obama.

Unemployment is now the lowest it has been in over a decade, thanks to Obama.

Gas was over $4 a gallon when Bush was in office, it is $2.39 now.

I just bought a couple hundred acres of property in the mountains and starting an organic apple farm, could not have done that while Bush was president because he had the country so screwed up with the housing mess he caused with his reelection stunt that real estate was so unstable that I could not sell they 5 properties that I already owned.

SO EVERYTHING IS BETTER stop asking such a stupid question when you already know that EVERYTHING is better than it was when Bush was in office!

        • DaChi Inyourdreams Wakefield November 17th, 2014 at 1:37 pm

Gas is down because of private domestic drilling. Are you crazy to attribute that to an Obama presidency when he is and always has been starkly against drilling. So, gas prices are going down in spite of, not because of an Obama presidency. His expensive energy policies failed and costs the tax payers millions. Are you using renewable energy? I didn’t think so. As far as UBL, they acted on intelligence they would not have otherwise had if it wasn’t for the intel they gathered from the advanced interrogation techniques in Bush’s Gitmo. Something else Obama ardently opposes. And far as your premiums, you don’t represent everybody. There are many whose premiums have went up. And now this ACA law will appear again to the Supreme Court for a hearing concerning the subsidies that must be there to make Obamacare affordable. And the flaw is in the clear language of the law.

          • Candide Thirtythree November 19th, 2014 at 11:28 am

OH so it was Bush’s credit when gas prices went down under his illegal rule but now that Obama has opened up all those gas leases that corrupt oil companies were sitting on it has nothing to do with Obama?

Your Obama derangement syndrome seems to be terminal.

        • DaChi Inyourdreams Wakefield November 17th, 2014 at 2:04 pm

So, wait til next year when this healthcare law process to be unaffordable when there are no subsidies for it to keep it affordable. It’s a timebomb just waiting to go off. Oh, and those 2 wars were not without Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid’s House and Senate. Bush had Congressional approval, while Obama rules by executive order as some sort of autocrat. I didn’t agree with Bush’s 2 wars, but at least he respected checks and balances. Name any of Obama’s policies that were directly the cause for gas prices going down. What U.S. president bows to a Saudi King? Obama did. What U.S. president released 5 high ranking jihadist leaders in exchange for 1 AWOL U.S. soldier who snuck out of his barracks to go have a good time? Obama did. What U.S. president’s administration outed classified information and only the classified information that would make the president look good? Only Obama’s. Which U.S. president’s administration outed the Pakistani doctor that gave us UBS’s whereabouts and got him incriminated and did not come to his rescue and probably destroyed any possibility of ever getting such help again? Obama’s. Which U.S. president is viewed as the weakest U.S. president on the world’s stage in the history of the United States? You guessed it. President Obama.

        • DaChi Inyourdreams Wakefield November 17th, 2014 at 1:11 pm

The mess was caused by Nancy Pelosi and Harry Reid’s House and Senate in Bush’s 2nd term. And can you be specific as to how your life is better because of an Obama presidency?

ROFL!! Where in God’s name do you get your facts?? Check any non partisan site and find the true facts. As to how we are better off, we own a small business and are doing just fine! Obamacare did not hurt us nor anything else that you say was just horrible. Again, get some real facts.

          • tracey marie November 17th, 2014 at 5:27 pm

do you ever blame bush for anything in his 2 terms? Bush caused the economic crashes and allowed 9-11 to happen. Period

Even when they don’t vote Romney still lost

    • DaChi Inyourdreams Wakefield November 16th, 2014 at 7:38 pm

It doesn’t matter that he lost to Barack Obama. Obama is f’n up on foreign and domestic policy. And seeing that this is the case, it’s a shame that Romney lost to him. But this doesn’t negate the fact that Mitt Romney is telling the truth.

      • fancypants November 16th, 2014 at 9:35 pm

unless your in Romney’s circle of trust ? may I suggest you take a hard look at your net worth to see if you fall somewhere in between the bottom 47%

        • DaChi Inyourdreams Wakefield November 17th, 2014 at 1:04 pm

What’s with the victim mentality? Obama has been president for 6 years now and what has he done to fix anything? All this class warfare is by design to keep ppl dependent on government. Your life can’t be that bad seeing that you have internet access and many other things ppl take for granted. So what somebody has more money than you. Go start a business. And the fact that ppl here aren’t even talking about Romney’s comments but are instead spewing out class hatred rhetoric against him when money wasn’t even the topic reeks of liberal zombieism.

Romney and job creation were never in the same sentence when it came to asking the middle class. Oh yea start a business ? Ive thought of that several time Except I keep noticing walmarts and home Depot’s popping up everywhere I look. Did you ever notice in your local newspaper how many small businesses they gobble up after their silver shovel / ribbon cutting ceremonies ? 18. Tommy6860 November 16th, 2014 at 5:14 pm

“Midterm Elections”, the ones where GOPer fantasies have them thinking they’ve won the presidency. If the GOP had their way, they’d have no congressional elections during the presidential runs.

Oh please! You don’t think we know black people are racists also?? I don’t care if you are a purple man, every race discriminates.

    • DaChi Inyourdreams Wakefield November 17th, 2014 at 12:28 pm

How can I be racist against the president when I’m blacker than he is? I was called racist just because I agreed that Mitt Romney told the truth on the issue discussed. It’s presumptuous to call someone a racist just because they disagree with you. I never made any racist claims nor even mentioned anything about race. Yet because I agreed with a particular thing Mitt Romney said, it was assumed that I was a racist. I revealed that I am a black man because it was assumed that I was a racist non black. Both of my parents are black. So, assuming that I am racist against president Obama’s yellow skin is foolish, seeing that my brown skin is blacker literally. Your purple man comment is not relevant to me.

  27. P_Arthur November 17th, 2014 at 11:15 am

The GOP says that the U.S. should give amnesty to 47% of the illegal immigrants.

  28. LynnAtHome November 17th, 2014 at 11:31 am

So says the single term Governor who lost a senate race and a presidential race. The arrogant ass just can’t help himself.

    • M D Reese November 17th, 2014 at 3:17 pm

He’s like some sort of weird version of Kardashian–famous for being a famous loser.

  29. AnnSanity November 17th, 2014 at 1:16 pm

Let’s clear something up right now. By definition, Racist “a person who believes that a particular race is superior to another,” African Americans cannot be racist. Bigoted, yes, but not racist.

    • Marvin Buddy Threatt Wilson November 17th, 2014 at 2:05 pm

This is a lame argument. Anyone who is unable to view another person without regards to race is a racist. I hope that you don’t think that you are helping African Americans by telling them that they are immune to the failings of racism.

    • R.J. Carter November 19th, 2014 at 11:47 am

I strongly disagree with your assertion. It implies that African American’s cannot believe something that Caucasians can believe, an argument which is inherently racist because it argues that, as a race, African Americans are superior in their belief capabilities.

      • AnnSanity November 19th, 2014 at 1:10 pm

It’s okay wtih me that you disagree. I am not, however, a racist, since I do not believe that any race is superior to another. So we have come full circle.

        • Dash Riprock December 17th, 2014 at 6:15 am

          You’re a racist alright.

    • mmaynard119 November 21st, 2014 at 10:22 am

There are/were black racists by your definition. The parts of the Muslim Black Power movement which considered caucasians to be fleas on sands of time were racist.

      • AnnSanity November 21st, 2014 at 10:55 am

Nope, that won’t cut it either, but you guys keep trying. I find your responses intriguing. It’s almost like Holocaust deniers. We are not talklng about the political point of view.

  30. AnnSanity November 17th, 2014 at 3:33 pm

I didn’t offer an argument, I merely provided the definition of the word racist. Are you trying to tell me that you want to change the definition of “racist” so that it can include African Americans?
The idea that one race is “born” superior to another has it’s modern roots in British Imperialism and has historically been the basis for conquest.
In Biblical times, and before, slaves were generally conquered people. Racism (and the system of slavery that developed under it) in America is based on a deep rooted belief that Whites are preternaturally superior not just to People of Color, but pretty much everyone.
No one set of beliefs are held universally by all members of any race, there will always be dissent, but here most of us speak in generalities.
Just think about it. How would you go about earning equality with a race you believe was born superior to your own? How wouldd you close that gap? The racist says equity is impossible, the gap can never be bridged.
Further, I do want people to view me with regard to my race. I LOVE being black. I am proud of my natural hair, the color of my skin, and my history. I want my race to be regarded because it has been a vital element in forming the person I’ve become and I LIKE ME! I want to be free to discuss my history with out being accused of playing “the race card.”

  31. R.J. Carter November 19th, 2014 at 11:43 am

“Rove paid millions to have those voting machines rigged”

You have proof of this, right? What am I saying, of course you do!

    • Candide Thirtythree November 19th, 2014 at 11:53 am

I have more proof that he did than you have proof that he didn’t.

      • R.J. Carter November 19th, 2014 at 11:54 am

That’s not how proof works. But it confirms what I thought.

        • Candide Thirtythree November 19th, 2014 at 11:56 am

          http://www.forbes.com/sites/rickungar/2012/10/20/romney-family-investment-ties-to-voting-machine-company-that-could-decide-the-election-causes-concern/

          • R.J. Carter November 19th, 2014 at 12:04 pm

So Romney was partial owner of one of several companies that provided machines that could be tampered with in testing.

            1. Romney isn’t Rove, despite sharing the same first consonant.
            2. Did the machines actually fail during the election?
            3. Did any of the machines actually “flip vote” like happened just two weeks ago?

It’s a nice basis off of which to build a political thriller novel, but it’s not a smoking gun. It’s not even a water gun.

          • Candide Thirtythree November 19th, 2014 at 12:12 pm

Only for the people on the side of the enemy, Rove would not have freaked out like that unless he was sure that the game was rigged in his favor in that state. But what does it matter, they have caught republicans red handed and still do nothing to them because anyone who could do something is on the take in the republican party or will just scream Benghazi

        • Candide Thirtythree November 19th, 2014 at 12:07 pm

Confirms that you are a RWNJ modding a site called Liberaland? Isn’t that a conflict of interest?

          • R.J. Carter November 19th, 2014 at 12:10 pm

It confirms that I’m willing to listen to the other side, and that both sides can have open-minded people — as well as their share of entrenched conspiracy addicts.

          • Candide Thirtythree November 19th, 2014 at 12:20 pm

The dictionary begs to differ since it says the meaning of the word conservative is …close minded, rigid, unwilling or unable to change, supports the status quo.

  32. Anomaly 100 November 19th, 2014 at 12:05 pm

Except this post did not bring up racism, you did. What does that say about you?

    • R.J. Carter November 19th, 2014 at 12:07 pm

The deleted post prior to it called him racist.

      • Anomaly 100 November 19th, 2014 at 12:38 pm
