Sadly, there was violence, looting and shots fired in Ferguson after the announcement that Officer Darren Wilson would not be indicted.

[su_center_ad]

As news of the “no bill” made its way through the streets of Ferguson, violence began erupting and a police officer was hit with “something.” Also, the St. Louis Police Department reported minutes after the announcement police were called to South Florissant, just south of the Ferguson Police Department, on reports of looting. At 9:03 p.m., SLPD confirmed shots were fired across the street from Ferguson police and a police car has had its back window shattered.

Police also confirmed a molotov cocktail was thrown at officers. Officials on scene deployed pepper spray and smoke in an effort to dispense an unruly crowd.[su_csky_ad]

Attention Christmas shoppers. Stores remain open all night for your dream holiday gifts.

As usual, theft and mayhem are the things of the day. You just can’t civilize certain parts of society.

      • Obewon November 25th, 2014 at 2:58 am

Your Klansman Wilson is the farthest thing from civilized society on Earth.

          thank you.

        • mcalleyboy November 25th, 2014 at 5:38 am

Unarmed but still dangerous, this poor kid almost got the officers weapon, gave the officer a thrashing and then decided he could keep charging the officer, when’s enough for you? This young man 6 foot plus infant, wasn’t jay walking but walking down the center of the road.

Unfortunately, not matter what the truth was, with conflicting evidence and wounds that lend themselves to multiple versions of events, we can have no confidence that that is true.

That, plus the fact that the prosecutor conducted the investigation in a friendly way, even inviting Wilson into testify was a bad sign from the beginning.

They conducted this entire thing in way that was guaranteed to be viewed as fishy.

          • R.J. Carter November 25th, 2014 at 9:07 am

The big difference in the way this GJ was conducted as opposed to other GJs was that they were given an over-abundance of evidence, which included conflicting testimonies. If they’d done this the usual, shorter way, the hew and cry would be that McCulloch withheld evidence from the GJ.

          • OldLefty November 25th, 2014 at 10:38 am

We only know what McCulloch told us.

We don’t know what evidence they were given.

            It is secret.

And we don’t know if this prosecutor conducted this grand jury as a defense for Wilson.

McCulloch’s decision to present the grand jury with all of the evidence, rather than build a clear case for indictment, was unusual and suggested he may not have pursued the case as vigorously as he could have. McCulloch has close ties to police, including through his family, and is the son of a former police officer who was shot in the line of duty by an African-American assailant, which is why the bar association called on him to recuse himself.

        Like corrupt police departments.

        • Bob Cronos November 27th, 2014 at 12:33 am

Call your local “police departments” and tell them you no longer need their services and to not respond if you call for help…

          • mea_mark November 27th, 2014 at 9:37 am

I live in the middle of nowhere, there is no local police department.

Get real. The Tea Klux Klan enticed and threatened to “shoot” protesters. Here’s 24+ Tea Party ‘Patriot movement, sovereign citizen, Christian identity’ domestic terrorist attacks against liberals and government from 2008-2011. http://crooksandliars.com/david-neiwert/violence-directed-liberal-and-govern <-FBI crime data is linked within each report.

And once again we see how the liberal leftist anarchists react when the legal system plays itself out and they don’t get the result they wanted. These are your people resorting to violence Obe and there is not one TP member amongst them.

        • Obewon November 25th, 2014 at 2:48 am

Klansman Darren Wilson isn’t done with the civil justice system or AG Holder’s DOJ yet! Wayout’s Ku Klux Klan is inevitably decimated by their Wilson escapades impaling their Klan.

          • R.J. Carter November 25th, 2014 at 9:02 am

Ah, yes, the old “Double Jeopardy? We can work around that” plan. Good luck with that.

        • OldLefty November 25th, 2014 at 6:36 am

          1) What is a liberal leftist anarchist compared to a conservative rightist anarchist?

          2) We have yet to see the justice system play out, (which is why many prosecutors and the The Mound City Bar Association called for McCulloch to recuse himself.

You have the right to defend your business and personal property, apparently it’s okay with you to destroy an entire community? Over what a thug that can’t control his behavior.

Is that why those who participated in the Boston Tea Party disguised themselves as Indians?

      • R.J. Carter November 25th, 2014 at 9:00 am

Curiously, I didn’t see any white hoods in the crowd last night.

    • tiredoftea November 25th, 2014 at 12:26 am

I’d say DA McCullough and Gov. Nixon did a pretty good job of orchestrating this.

    • R.J. Carter November 25th, 2014 at 9:00 am

Orchestrating is a good word. One local reporter talked this morning that as he was leaving one area, he saw a car pull over, a man get out of the back seat who then fired four to five shots into the air, then jumped back into the car and sped off. Why?

I have it on in the background while watching Twitter feed come through. I am absolutely disgusted with what I hear. I am waiting for the resident to start taking up an armed resistance.

This is FUCKING disgusting and they have lost all sympathy..

It’s not the greatest news but one way to look at it is that it could be worse– it could be another article about Taylor Swift.

It was out of towners right?

    • R.J. Carter November 25th, 2014 at 8:57 am

On the off chance this question wasn’t rhetorical: No. This was almost 100% local.

  7. mea_mark November 25th, 2014 at 9:53 am

If police officers weren’t above the law and were held accountable for their actions this would not be happening. The rules and laws that the police have to abide by, need to be changed. What happened last night was an indictment of the the rules and laws that law officers are governed by. The rules and laws are charged with allowing racial profiling and murder by law officers.
