Man Arrested For Pointing Banana At Cops
The Colorado man lives in a town named–wait for it–Fruitvale.
Nathan Channing, 27, was sent to Mesa County Jail after he pointed the piece of fruit at two sheriff’s officers Sunday and pretended it was a gun.
The suspect…told the officers he was a comedian that makes YouTube videos, but the authorities were not laughing…
The officers wrote in the police report they feared for their safety despite observing the supposed weapon was yellow…
“I immediately ducked in my patrol car and accelerated continuing northbound, fearing that it was a weapon,” Officer Joshua Bunch wrote in the report…[su_center_ad]

I was almost arrested once for pointing my finger at a police officer with my thumb up, like a child making a play gun out of their hand. It was stupid then, it is stupid now. Our police are out of control.

Maybe they should be fearing. People are getting tired of beaten, battered and abused by law enforcement. Pretty much every day a new police shooting or act of egregious brutality hits the airwaves. They are not our lords and masters, we are not their subservient slaves.
