A bomb threat on an American Airlines flight from Spain to Kennedy Airport is being investigated.

American Airlines flight 67 from Barcelona landed at the Queens airport just after noon and was immediately met by Port Authority police, who brought the plane to a designated hanger to investigate.

A Port Authority spokesman said the threat was phoned in to authorities at around 11:55 a.m. as the plane was approaching the runway.

The plane was cleared of passengers, and firefighters and PAPD K-9 units arrived to conduct a thorough search.[su_csky_ad]
