So, just turn the fire hoses on peaceful protesters is his advise, adding; “They probly need a shower anyway.” as a nice touch to his racist rant.
I’d suggest selecting officers who aren’t bigots and training them to respect the citizenry they police and most importantly don’t kill teenagers when you panic……but that’s just me.

if they didn’t get the training at home, they’re fk’d in that department. i thought aside from being raised to respect others was also a huge part of common sense. if you need training as an adult to understand this, then you need not hold office or be in the police force. but, that’s just me.

“When you put it into context there is nothing sinister,” said Crenier.

    Sure, hon.
Great job of aiding to set us back 50 years.

There is no context that softens her sentiment.

      Exactly!
It’s like we’re back in Selma Alabama again.
Republicans (or should I say Confederates) really do live in the past and want to drag us back with them

When did racists go all politically correct? Being called a “thug lover” just doesn’t have the same panache.

Another chapter in the unending series making it very clear as to why the overwhelming majority of black folks will never support conservatives or the GOP.

Whether this official is a racist or an idiot or both, I don’t care. Anybody in this country who works in politics and is unaware of the ugly history, especially in the south of using firehoses on people exercising their first amendment rights is eminently unqualified for their job.

If any of you right wingers out there think that a token Ben Carson is going convince the black electorate to turn a blind eye to the profound ignorance which permeates the GOP in terms of race, you are in for a big disappointment, not unlike that Romney landslide many of you told us was imminent.

My prediction is that in 2016, the GOP candidate will garner a maximum of 15% of the black vote, and that would be only if Dr. Carson is the nominee. Of course none of the lying right wing hypocrites who alleged that blacks supported President Obama because of race, will raise a peep of protest about blacks who do the same for Dr. Carson.

Black folks vote Democratic. Al Gore got 91% of the black vote. John Kerry got 88% of the black vote. I really don’t know about Mr. Gore, but I am certain that John Kerry is not black.

So, Ms. Crenier, you go right ahead and fly your ignorance flag high. Most black folks already know what the GOP stands for whether they admit it publicly or not. But a timely reminder every now and then is quite useful, please keep it up. Thank you.

Liberal media my ass. If there were truly a Liberal media, they would be hounding this idiot and Elizabeth Lauten until they were fired just like the R.W. media money machine did with Martin Bashir.
