[su_right_ad]Governor-elect Greg Abbott has vowed to sue the president over his executive action on immigration.

After President Barack Obama announced his order Nov. 21 Abbott vowed “swift action,” then suggested last week that a lawsuit was coming soon.

It’s Abbott’s first major issue since his easy victory to succeed Gov. Rick Perry, who’s also clamored for a lawsuit.

Obama’s actions are designed to spare from deportation nearly 5 million people living illegally in the United States. Abbott says Texas has unique standing because of the outsize impact the order would have on it.

Abbott already has sued 30 times since Obama took office.[su_csky_ad]

Texas: “We are suing President Obama because we believe beyond a shadow of a doubt that he is acting as President while black. That is all. No questions. Thank you”

Indiana’s Mike Pence is the GOP douche soon to follow. Because nothing says conserving tax supplies than fraudulent lawsuits.

OK, you have two living Presidents to sue as well. I’m not sure you can sue the estates of the 3 deceased presidents that did the same thing, but good luck

Yes but they are all republicans and . . . . well, various shades of white!

Texas to sue Obama because republicans are dumb. I bet this backfires this time. Wasting money on frivolous lawsuits while Texas major source of revenue, oil, is dropping like a rock in price is going to be just another part of the disaster that is going to be Abbott’s governorship.

The houston Chronicle and several other papers have OP Eds telling abbott to start behaving like a leader instead of a sycophant for the right

He won’t do that. He thinks he has to stay far-right in order to keep getting elected. This is his crowning achievement in life and he is going to prolong it as long as possible, without any regard for what Texans really need.

Oh boy! Just what Texas needs! Another way to waste taxpayer money!

Good for him. As I recall he beat Abortion Barbie by almost 3 touchdowns, so apparently Texans like him!!

In the state with the lower voter turnout in the union.

Guess that’s why Texas is last in everything from healthcare to education.

And 32 times, it’s been kicked out of court because there’s no attorney crazy or stupid enough to actually take them seriously.

Abbott says Texas has unique standing as what? Abbott is one of 5 M undocumented parents of U.S. Citizens? Is that why TX leads the nation in below minimum wage jobs?

When will they learn we are a nation of illegal immigrants? If you want to talk about illegal immigration, just ask the Native Americans their opinion on it.

The only thing this will accomplish will be to deplete the state’s coffers and then Texans will have the privilege of paying state income taxes like most of the rest of us.
