Congressman Peter King, said Eric Garner’s problem is that he was just too fat, amplified his views on Fox News. He was asked if the police don’t have better things to do than go after people for selling lose cigarettes.

This goes back to the whole “quality of life” thing, that if you allow someone to flagrantly violate the law […] By him standing outside the store, he was disrupting the community, he was preventing customers from coming in, and he was selling cigarettes that people were not able to sell in their convenience stores. If you have a legitimate, legal convenience store, and you’re selling cigarettes in there, and this person’s outside violating the law — this goes back to what started in 1993, with the “quality of life.” You can’t have people spitting on your windshield, and you can’t have people jumping over the turnstiles. As minor as those crimes seem, once you allow that to happen, it’s a breakdown.[su_center_ad]

And what happens when you start allowing the police to kill minorities without having to face consequences. My guess is you have a major breakdown in the ‘quality of life’, especially for those being killed.

Yes, we can’t allow anyone to destroy the integrity of the full pack.

Man, I’ve been playing it dangerous selling those fun-pack M&M bags for a quarter each. They’re clearly labelled “Not packaged for individual resale.”

There not being a whole lot of moonshiners in New York, I guess they had to go after the other taxable vice.

Because he’s right in the middle of that. How do you think most congressmen end up a lot richer coming out than they were going in. It’s not from saving in their 401(k).

How about when he outed the King of Jordan??

  6. Spirit of America December 4th, 2014 at 7:48 pm

King is correct, you don’t let the stuff slide, it harms law abiding people/businesses. If a cop is going by or is called in because of it, make the arrest.

Problem is, this isn’t about that, it is about excessive force for the situation.

This is a case(king’s statements) of misdirection. Say something that sounds close to the topic, say it correctly, and he gets to avoid the real topic. And people who already want to take the cop’s side just because of it being a cop jump up and say “yea, he shouldn’t be selling those cigarettes!”…

Negligent homicide was in my view perpetrated. And the involvement of such was by more than 1 man there.

It sure took an awful large amount of police and lethal force to stop a cig from being sold.

Peter King and others like him (aka Republicans — all Nazis nowadays and agents of the filthy rich) being in Congress is what is destroying not only our quality of life, but all life on earth.
