[su_right_ad]Add P. J. Masten to the list of those who say Bill Cosby raped them. And, Masten tells CNN, he did the same to 12 other Playboy bunnies.

Masten told CNN that Cosby sexually assaulted her back in the 1970s when she was working as a cocktail waitress for the Playboy club in Chicago. Masten claims Cosby slipped something into a glass of Grand Marnier that he served her during a gathering inside his room at the Whitehall Hotel.

“The next thing I knew, it was 4 o’clock in the morning,” she told CNN, for a segment that aired Friday. “I woke up in a bed naked, bruised. He was laying next to me, and I slithered out of the bed …. I got myself together; I went downstairs; I got in a cab, and I went home.”

“There were bruise marks all over me,” she claimed. “I knew I was raped.”

The former bunny said she decided to speak up after hearing that southern California resident Judy Huth filed a lawsuit in Los Angeles on Tuesday that accused Cosby of sexually assaulting her inside the Playboy Mansion in 1974, when Huth was just 15 years-old.

Masten said several former Playboy gals were victimized by Cosby but remain too scared to step out from the shadows.[su_csky_ad]

ok, now i’m starting to not buy into this. mean to tell me that not 1 of 13 bunnies went to Hef? b.s.

    • ExPFCWintergreen December 5th, 2014 at 10:08 pm

Unlikely. Hef was totally enthralled by celebrity and basically gave the famous carte blanche. They might well have gone to the Bunny “house mother,” but given the era it’s more than likely she would just have counseled them to stay silent.

but, 13. i’m surprised that the headlines aren’t reading: BILL COSBY, SERIAL RAPIST? i saw that someone wrote RAPIST on his hollywood star.

you need to understand money and power as well as fear

          • whatthe46 December 6th, 2014 at 12:17 am

i understand completely. i also understand some may be looking for a payday. notice i said “some.”

      • KABoink_after_wingnut_hacker December 5th, 2014 at 10:32 pm

Agreed. The whole industry is based on profiting from pretty young naïve girls and the last thing proprietors/pimps want is for their customers to be unhappy.
Young girls mingling with wealthy Hollywood elite is where this shit has happened for decades.

      • tiredoftea December 5th, 2014 at 10:38 pm

Mostly, because she was raped herself!

    • tracey marie December 5th, 2014 at 10:42 pm

you need to understand the culture of rape, power and the 50-70’s before you make such a declarative sentence. Haviung babies in the suburbs does not prepare you for the reality of life outside that bubble

      • ExPFCWintergreen December 5th, 2014 at 11:27 pm

I would suggest that the following newspaper column clearly shows how and why the Teflon Playboy empire and its A-list clientele could get away with murder.

Bill Granger, “Take the Target Off Hugh Hefner,” Chicago Tribune, April 8, 1985.

“Bashing Hugh Hefner is getting to be a profitable sideline in the entertainment business. Earlier this year, the bashing came from commercial television. Hefner may have his faults but getting bashed by a sanctimonious slut like commercial television is really not fitting punishment. In this case, a network dug up a 20-year-old magazine story by a reporter named Gloria Steinem.

“Gloria Steinem became a Playboy Bunny, did several weeks of this and then jumped out of her Bunny costume, put on her aviator sunglasses we have all come to know and love and decided to expose the whole sordid story of the world of Playboy Bunnies. The story was an example of pious pornography of the sort perfected by Rev. Andrew Greeley…

“Gloria Steinem… was destined to go on to raise the consciousness of a generation of women who wear sunglasses in their hair. …

“Hefner, naturally, is the villain behind this evil empire of sexually exploited Bunnies and hedonistic voyeurs paging through Playboy each month to ogle pretty girls and going to Playboy clubs to do much the same thing. …

“Hefner has been a good pal to Chicago. He keeps his magazine empire here when everyone knows it would be cool to move it all to one of the coasts. He had his start here, and he wanted to stay here. He tried out his Playboy Club idea here first. He seems like a guy who is very into party-party-party without necessarily hurting anyone else. He likes his daughter and gave her a good job, just like any dad would do. …

“Why is Hefner such a target to everyone? I mean, you want to attack sleaze, take a look at Bob Guccione and his Penthouse publications sometime. You want to attack the idea of women as sex objects? I may be with you on that one, but it’s a matter of choice, isn’t it? Hefner hasn’t been accused of violating the Mann Act, has he? These ladies who want to dress as Bunnies or undress as Playmates are grown up, aren’t they?

“I guess I’m just getting tired of cheap-shot artists beating the same old dead horse. … Hugh Hefner is 59, and he has given thousands and thousands to good causes; he has supported serious struggling writers through the general article payments from his magazines; he has glossed up some of Chicago’s stodginess; and, mostly he doesn’t bother anyone. If you don’t like Hefner, don’t invite him to preach in your church.

“But let’s lay off the guy. After all, Gloria Steinem, where would you be today without him?”

  2. ExPFCWintergreen December 5th, 2014 at 10:09 pm

Let’s see if I can recall: There’s Fat Albert. There’s Mushmouth. There’s Dumb Donald. Um, I think there was Sleepy, Grumpy, and, uh, either Moe or Curly. Now which was one was Rapey?

    • StoneyCurtisll December 6th, 2014 at 3:02 am

DNA analysis will determine which one is ‘Rapey’..

  3. KABoink_after_wingnut_hacker December 5th, 2014 at 10:10 pm

It’s amazing what privilege, wealth and power can cover up.
And it’s also shocking that our entire democracy has been high jacked by men of privilege, wealth and power to do whatever they can buy.

  4. searambler December 5th, 2014 at 10:20 pm

This is starting to strain credulity….

    • ExPFCWintergreen December 5th, 2014 at 11:07 pm

And John Wayne Gacy was just a birthday party clown. No way did he rape and kill 33 boys and young men. And buried them all in his own house? C’mon, who would do that?

      • whatthe46 December 6th, 2014 at 12:16 am

remember he killed them all. they were unable to come forward. they were boys that no one would miss. either run aways or they were gay.

  5. Aielyn December 5th, 2014 at 11:07 pm

This is definitely falling into the category of “suspect”, this claim.

Are we really to believe that she not only was raped by him and failed to come forward, but that she knew of 12 others who had also been raped by him and she didn’t go to the police, even though there was no apparent risk of direct retribution? It’s not like Cosby was there every week, or something, for the last 40 years.

The early claims… especially the anonymous ones… are plausible. As searambler has already said (or rather, intended to say), these new claims are starting to strain credibility.

  6. Foundryman December 5th, 2014 at 11:32 pm

After watching the first or main accuser, today on Ronan Farrow, the former super model, I have to say, I no longer believe her. The lady came unhinged, completely lost it, screaming, calling him names it was really kind of disturbing to watch. She definitely has some mental issues.
20 others and now this, 13 playboy bunnies, none came forward? If these accusations are true, Cosby will soon become the most proliferate serial rapist in history without any victims ever reporting it at the time. The more they come out, the less credibility they have. Gloria Allred would be wise if she pulled the plug on the cameras and built the case before it’s no longer believable at all.

    • Kick Frenzy December 6th, 2014 at 12:47 am

That super model, Janice Dickinson, has a long history of exaggerated expression.
Look up some video of her from reality shows, like America’s Next Top Model.
She ALWAYS flies off the hook.
So, while it seemed overly dramatic (it made me stop and wonder too), I remembered that that’s just the way she acts normally.

As for the number of bunnies, sure it sounds like a lot… but we don’t have any info to go on really, so for me… I can’t say one way or the other, but I certainly am not going to off-handedly dismiss reports of rape.

      • raincheck December 6th, 2014 at 8:58 am

I can’t “dismiss reports of rape” either… but there sure is a lot that bothers me about this..

        • allison1050 December 6th, 2014 at 10:36 am

          It ‘s the timing.

        • Kick Frenzy December 6th, 2014 at 10:32 pm

If it were all completely out of the blue, with all new people joining in one after the other, I’d probably share those reservations.
BUT, knowing that this has been reported by comedians and reporters alike, also that there was a group lawsuit that was settled out of court and anything else that might be a recurrence of some kind… it has an air of credibility.

All that being said, I really can’t pass judgement one way or another.
I don’t know enough facts to have a solid opinion of what I think happened, but it doesn’t look good to me.

    • allison1050 December 6th, 2014 at 10:28 am

That was dear old Angie the still sky high person that can’t remember what she ate for dinner last night.

  7. StoneyCurtisll December 6th, 2014 at 12:28 am

    Bill Cosby…
    1970’s-80’s..
    Quaaludes..
    Cocaine..
    Alcohol..
    Celebrity..

Do the math, (it all adds up)

    • whatthe46 December 6th, 2014 at 12:56 am

are you saying against him? because they (the women) were running in that same circle as well. could they have been so high and loaded, they don’t remember the events. could it just be buyers remorse? for the record, i’m not taking sides.

      • StoneyCurtisll December 6th, 2014 at 2:08 am

        Not saying for or against..
        Math doesn’t take sides..
But it does figure…(if ya get my drift)

It’s not so much that Cosby was a big time star and had an endless supply of beautiful young women that wanted to become famous actresses/ models and whatever…
Or that Cosby could simply have coerced them into having sex with in in lieu of fame…(I’m sure he did that many times)

It’s the part that he drugged them first, then had sex with them I find even more offensive than taking advantage of them…

        • raincheck December 6th, 2014 at 9:05 am

The whole scenario is offensive… This last one sounds a little fishy if you ask me… “There were bruise marks all over me,” she claimed. “I knew I was raped.” What did he do, beat her up while she was unconscious? Is he THAT big of a Monster?
Usually where there’s smoke there’s fire.. just not sure about this one…

    • allison1050 December 6th, 2014 at 10:30 am

And you didn’t do drugs back then? I don’t believe you and what’s this crap about “do the math” stuff…never mind ’cause I don’t really want to know your supposed theory on your math stuff.

  8. rg9rts December 6th, 2014 at 6:16 am

Wilt !!! Your record is being challenged

  9. searambler December 6th, 2014 at 8:43 am

How does an invesigator prove an allegation like this 30 or 40 years later? I assume there is no forensic or dna evidence. Is it strictly based on the testimony of the accusers? Eyewitness accounts three or four decades old? Anything else?

  10. allison1050 December 6th, 2014 at 10:33 am

These women have become like a rash..they’re all coming out at once!

    • R.J. Carter December 6th, 2014 at 2:25 pm

I was just thinking that the more people come out, the less likely it’s starting to sound — simply because if there were that many, it couldn’t have been kept silent that long.

      • allison1050 December 6th, 2014 at 4:17 pm

Timing Timing Timing, everyone seems to be stepping forward every single day. Janice Dickinson is the cream of the crop, she’s been a well known and documented drug addict most of her adult life. I can understand some of them being reluctant to come forward 40 yrs. ago but all of them NOW?? Go online and you might be able to see her interview on Ronan’s show, it was unreal.

Released in May of 1971: I Am Woman (Helen Reddy)

I am woman, hear me roar
In numbers too big to ignore
And I know too much to go back an’ pretend
‘Cause I’ve heard it all before
And I’ve been down there on the floor
No one’s ever gonna keep me down again

If I have to, I can face anything
I am strong, I am invincible, I am woman

    Food for thought?
