Santa Clara police are seen on video putting a man in a headlock and beating him with a baton.

the individual who originally uploaded the video said the individual in question (later identified as Oregon man Mark Lydon) had walked down the wrong exit at Levi’s Stadium during the Pac-12 championship game.

One cop was openly brandishing a taser, and the situation went downhill from there. You can hear Lydon in the video saying, “I need you to fucking not touch me!” And within the next minute, you can see officers putting Lydon in a headlock and hitting him with batons.

As this is unfolding and the officers are subduing him, you can hear people chanting, “He’s not fighting back!”

more over reaction and brutality from the cops…you notice how they were just a tad bit more careful, can’t kill a white guy

It’s so much easier to be abusive when you know that you’re not going to be prosecuted.

The sense of entitlement by cops these days is both incredible and frightening.

well, come to think of it, the guy didn’t die, so they would likely be ok with what the cops did.

maybe faux news will say they finally crossed the line. cops are out of control. now you can’t make the mistake of going down the wrong exit w/o getting choked and beat on.

I hope this gets wider media attention.
I’d love to see this, at least, on cable news.

I’m pretty sure mose people don’t even think about it, since it doesn’t affect them personally.
