[su_right_ad]To Congressman Peter King, if you wanted the torture report released you hate America.

In an appearance today on Newsmax, Rep. Peter King claimed that the CIA didn’t torture anyone — calling their enhanced interrogation techniques “mild” — and decried torture critics for having a “‘hate America first’ attitude that is self-loathing, self-hatred.”

The New York Republican then told host J.D. Hayworth that the report came to light as a way to deflect attention from Jonathan Gruber’s testimony to the House Oversight Committee on Obamacare.

Why would anyone want to distract from Obamacare when it’s working so well?

    • Bunya December 10th, 2014 at 5:13 pm

Then maybe it’s Peter King distracting us with the torture report. Lord knows he wants to distract us from the wildly successful Obamacare.

  5. tiredoftea December 10th, 2014 at 5:07 pm

Yes, let’s keep doing immoral, illegal and ineffective things just because we’re “exceptional”.

  6. Denise December 10th, 2014 at 6:29 pm

I cannot believe these morons were re-elected! why would the president want to draw distraction from a program that enabled citizens to have access to quality, healthcare? that makes about as much sense as Bachmann saying the white immigrants w from Europe were American, even they are undocumented illegals from another country. All this, from the race of people in which many claim they are superior to everybody else. If King, Bachmann, Gohmert, Palin..are examples of superiority, this explains why the country is going backwards!

You want to understand it all?
      Hmmm…well, OK. Do the following:
Hit yourself in the head with a 5 pound sledge repeatedly, whilst listening to Limbaugh and watching a D’Souza film, for about 2 hours.
Then give yourself a home lobotomy.
Repeat (including the lobotomy) as often as it takes until you start to think “This kinda makes sense!”.
Then get drunk on cheap wine.
      That should get you close.

Peter King has always had his eye on the Oval Office, and it looks as if he’s making an early move to get ahead of other contenders for the GOP nomination with this bit of idiocy. It’s not as juicy as some of his previous idiocy, but it worth moving up one place in the Right Wing Dunce Contest.

Let’s go to the leaderboard for the current rankings!

    2) Michele Bachmann

Actually, he is. I looked up the requirements, his mother was a citizen, that makes him a citizen from birth.

            So he SAYS!!!!
I want to see multiple copies of the BC, an announcement in a rural Mid-West American newspaper, and a full bio of his biological father.

Never saw the movie, but once you’ve seen Sean Connery in a red diaper, you never forget it.

Only if you read the 14th Amendment, not according to Orlie and the birth certificate crowd.By their definition, he doesn’t qualify.

Don’t forget Governor Crispy Creme, who was totally exonerated in the Bridge-gazi scandal a week ago. Thereby giving him a mandate to run for POTUS…..

  8. Foundryman December 10th, 2014 at 8:36 pm

The call for the arrest and trial of Bush/ Cheney and company should be loud and endless. These right wing wack jobs who want to yell ‘impeach Obama’ in every breath, should be met with war crimes and human right charges for their little liars. Then we’ll see who really hates America, the right who gave us war and torture, or the left who tried to get us out of it.

  9. Jimmy Smith December 10th, 2014 at 8:47 pm

I thought Obamacare issues were only to deflect attention from Benghazi but now I find out that torture information is only there to deflect attention from Obamacare which, by extension, is deflecting attention from Benghazi …
Why didn’t he miss the middle step and say that the torture information is there to deflect attention from Benghazi?
