I hope Bush is reading the report.
He was bamboozled by Cheney and Addington, but he’s still responsible and can’t deny it any more.
I hope that in the future, as he begins to be more and more available to journalists, that he sees this will never go away and he’ll have to explain it. He’s stubbornly loyal to his subordinates, which is an admirable quality to have, but I hope he also sees how they lied to him and the stain this is on his legacy.
I’m not counting on it, but, shoot, he may surprise us….

We all knew it was happening, we all knew WHY it was happening, big fat stock portfolios in Halliburton and other military industries. We knew some of where it was happening but what was anyone going to do about any of it, It is not like the media was going to shine a light on it in any real way and the stupid people outnumber the smart people so they kept voting for the same thing over and over.
