11-Year-Old Steals 10 Grand So She Can Visit Boy 800 Miles Away
Alexis Weller stole the money from her grandmother and then spent $1300 for a cab to take her from Arkansas to Florida.

The cab company claims Alexis wore a lot of makeup, thus making herself look older than she was. Nevermind the fact a young girl asked them to drive to Florida, 800 miles away. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills.
“He didn’t really ask anything, he just asked me where I needed to go,” Alexis told KARK. “I said, ‘I need to go to Jacksonville, Florida’. He’s like, ‘do you have money’ and I’m like ‘yes’.”
The driver said the ride would cost about $2,500. Alexis gave him about $1,300 upfront, and promised the rest when they got to Florida…
As for the boy she was going to see, well, the 16-year-old said they had been talking for two years after meeting on vacation but knew nothing of her great escape.[su_csky_ad]
