You need to realize that rape is not about the sex, it’s about control and violence. If it were about sex, 90 year old women and 9 year old girls wouldn’t be getting raped.

Modern conservatism is defined by its lickspittle obedience to power and authority — all in the guise of “tradition,” “American Exceptionalism,” and the rest of the Encyclopedia of Conservative Cant — and anything that challenges, questions, undermines, or otherwise invalidates the power and authority status quo must, by definition, be attacked.
