[su_right_ad]In other words, what Obama did was good and will work, but it’s wrong because Obama did it.

“If you notice President Nixon, when he was in charge, went to China and was considered weak,” he said. “I remember as a young man reading about this and I said, why are we going to China? We’re America. They didn’t have human rights. They were very, very abusive to their people. But it cracked open the doors.”

“I think once Cubans on the street get a taste of American life and the idea that free economy and capitalism actually works and that you too can rise from squalor and rise to the ladder of success — I think we’re going to win even though it’s a weak political stance. Crack the door open, bring America in there, bring Twitter, Facebook. We’ll win. The people will rise up from within.”[su_csky_ad]

Ahh me, Chaim Witz making with public idiocy, again. As his competency is extremely limited, and his judgement worse (just look at his hair!), this kind of thing is going to happen.

LOL! Political analysis from Gene Simmons! Bwahahahahahahahaha!

That’s like listening to marital advice from Rush Limbaugh…

“I think we’re going to win even though it’s a weak political stance.”

Why is it a weak political stance, douchebag?

Can’t tell you, but I’m sure a right winger could explain it to you. Not.

I don’t get it. Back in the 70s everybody in the music biz knew Simmons was a jerk. He is still a jerk. Yet for some reason I cannot fathom he is given press on political issues. He’s not even a decent bass player for dog’s sake!. Very very strange.

I was eight years old when Nixon went to China, and even *I* remember that it was considered a foreign policy masterstroke. It brought the Chinese out of the cold, and isolated the Soviets to the point that they became more open to détente and arms control negotiations.

Only farshtinkener alter kicker shmucks like Gene Simmons would consider that “weak”.

If what we are offering is the American brand of capitalism, the Cubans may want to stay isolated.
