Open Carry Groups In Texas Are Having An Epic Girl Fight

Open Carry Texas has had it with the fedora-wearing leader of Open Carry Tarrant County. C.J. Grisham, the leader of Open Carry Texas, penned a letter on his Facebook account to Kory Watkins but he didn’t link to him, so I suppose he’s supposed to get the message through some of his supporters, or maybe an Open Carry mind meld.

[su_center_ad]In the letter to hipster Kory, which lacks factual content, C.J. writes of his love for law enforcement (he doesn’t love the police) and explains that he has the personal cell phone number of the chief of police and Kory doesn’t so he’s cooler than him.

C.J. mentions Kory’s plans of an armed insurrection. Noticeably absent is any reference to the Open Carry activist, who was in both groups, who recently shot two of her family members to death.

C.J. Grisham writes:

Kory,

I’ve largely refrained from publicly criticizing you or even your organization. I have much better ways to spend my time. But, since you want to start a flame war, I’ll crank up the grill.

Your antics are going to get someone hurt, or worse, killed. People are distancing themselves from you in greater numbers because you are a loose cannon. I’m just glad we did so early on. What did you do to get HB195 filed? Oh, nothing. What have you done to gather cosponsors? Oh, nothing. Besides pissing people off, what are your accomplishments?

Our relationship with Houston PD – and nearly all PDs – is great. They’re officers treat us well 99.9% of the time. Our interactions with them are always positive. They may have issues in other areas, but not open carry. In fact, I have the personal cell phone of the chief because he respects how we conduct ourselves (not that our existence depends on his approval). We communicate often about the recent detention and illegal actions of his cop and they are currently dealing with it. Unlike you, I’m giving them time to do the right thing instead of being a derp about it and calling for armed insurrection all over the place. There was no arrest as you claim. The HPD recognizes their officer was way out of line. I’ve even gotten several emails from HPD officers begging me not to label the entire force because of this one ignorant, bully cop. I bet they didn’t email you, did they, Kory? Why not?

Even though I’m sure you’ll continue your petty personal attacks against me, you’re not important enough to me to address or even mention you further. Quote this, since you like to troll me now. Oh, and integrity goes a long way, bro. It’s the only thing that can’t be taken from you. It has to be given away.

You were a good man once and got power hungry…or something. Now, it’s the Kory Show. And I’m changing the channel.

We’ll put aside the fact that C.J. Grisham has mocked the police on more than one occasion – even to the point of dressing as an abusive police officer on Halloween. C.J.’s wife dressed as the victim. C.j. held a gun to her head and smiled for the picture. But we’ll put all of that aside so that we can enjoy the girl fight, where Kory and C.J. start pulling each other’s hair and scratching each other’s eyes out for freedom.

Maybe Kory’s Mom can help her persecuted son out again.
