[su_right_ad]A dispatcher at a Brooklyn, NY 911 call center allegedly said the two police who were shot, Raphael Ramos and Wenjian Liu, “deserved it.”

The remarks were allegedly made by a couple of the 911 operators who handle NYPD calls — and two Fire Department dispatchers in earshot got heated in response, sources said.

The alleged comment that created the most friction was when one said the cops had “deserved it,” said a law enforcement source.

That started a shouting match with two FDNY dispatchers.

The comments made one of them “sick to his stomach” and he moved to another desk to avoid getting into a bigger fight, sources said.[su_csky_ad]

I disagree with the comment, we do not know if these guys were killers….but it is hard to feel sympathy for cops while they continue to murder black men and boys without consequences and then have parties with songs making fun of the death of Micheal and wearing shirts that say…I can breathe

    • tiredoftea December 23rd, 2014 at 7:08 pm

That all may be true, but that was the wrong place and wrong time for that comment.

      • tracey marie December 23rd, 2014 at 7:13 pm

absolutely, there is never a right time for such a comment.

It’s not hard to feel sympathy for the cops or any innocent man shot down in cold blood and what their families are going through.,
Most do their jobs as best as possible and put their life on the line everyday.
The kids come home to a house that is cold with grief just like anyone wrongly shot down, regardless of color or why it happens killing innocent people on either sides of the issue out of revenge is never justified, and deserves sympathy.

Still hard…Erics daughter brought a wreath to the memorial, cops wore “i can breathe shirts” so yeah, it is hard to feel sympathy

        • Sam December 23rd, 2014 at 10:23 pm

Erics daughter said she not anti cops and had many good things to say about law enforcement,
But it’s not about her are you…
Only a cold hearted SOB could not feel sympathy for a innocent humanbeing shoot down in cold blood. ,

“Most do their jobs as best as possible and put their life on the line everyday”
I’m not so sure MOST of them do… I would have to say, at least some do.
I can’t condone the cold blooded murder of ANYONE on either side of this. The violence appears to be increasing among the men in blue, and if they aren’t violent, they stand back, and too often, do NOTHING to stop the police brutality from their fellow officers, and will even lie for them… corruption runs deep in the police departments across the Country… They have become “Militarized” under the guise of being prepared for “terrorism” but it seems clear, it is about “crowd control” over the citizenry of our country…. IMHO

This is sad.Whether they did deserve it, or not, this is insensitive of them.

    • tracey marie December 23rd, 2014 at 7:08 pm

They do not deserve it, but it is hard to feel sympathy

I’ve heard nothing detrimental about either of the Officers that were gunned down in NY or Nevada. Chances are in their favor they were good officers doing a good job. I agree with mea_mark though. The thin blue line brotherhood needs to let their fellow officers know they will no longer be silent about those who hide behind their badge to further the cause of the WHITE RACIST. Same with the US Military.

  3. mea_mark December 23rd, 2014 at 7:46 pm

Maybe if the judicial system wasn’t so corrupt this wouldn’t happen. Law enforcement people need to police themselves and quit covering up their mistakes.

    • Tommy6860 December 23rd, 2014 at 7:47 pm

Yep, it really makes the system look bad when prosecutors treat criminal cops like they are their defense lawyers.

  4. Tommy6860 December 23rd, 2014 at 7:46 pm

What these dispatchers said was wrong on all levels. No matter anyone, no one person deserves death just because of the current atmosphere of police brutality. Individuals should held to their merits, good or bad. Having said that, I understand why those sentiments arise and it is the ugliness of racism. If cops would protest cops inflicting injustices upon minorities, the view would be much different.

    • raincheck December 24th, 2014 at 5:34 am

” No matter anyone, no one person deserves death just because of the current atmosphere of police brutality”
I agree with much of what you are saying… however, linking the killings to the current atmosphere may not be exactly right… There is some evidence, the two Officers who were killed, were killed by someone who has mental problems…
I think we need to be careful to not link it to the protesters… just saying

  5. fancypants December 23rd, 2014 at 8:35 pm

NYC is getting uglier by the day even 1 week before xmas, I saw protesters on the nyc street today on the news shouting F*** fox news the reporter couldn’t be heard it was so loud
well at least they are somewhat correct

  6. greenfloyd December 23rd, 2014 at 10:35 pm

Further evidence of the break-down in the command and control of NYPD and the festering conflict between civil (elected) authority and police (union) authority. Another blow to the already battered de Blasio who finds his popularity is scant protection from entrenched power like the “Boys in Blue.”

And a Nazi like Lynch to lead the insurrection

  7. granpa.usthai December 24th, 2014 at 1:25 am

I was under the assumption that 911 dispatchers primary function was to assist the caller in a time of crisis?

  8. rg9rts December 24th, 2014 at 2:58 am

Morons rule even in 911 land
