Some people don’t take rejection well. A Kentucky man set a woman’s house on fire after she rejected him on Facebook, according to authorities.

37-year-old James Graham is facing charges of arson and burglary charges.

[su_center_ad]“She had some comments posted by this individual on her Facebook page about some pictures she had. She rebuffed those and it’s kind of what set this all in motion,” said Major Robert Warfel, Frankfort Police Department.

“This is one of those tragic situations where somebody is now without a home and for such a minor reason. it’s disturbing,” Warfel said.

“It got to the point that she was very aggravated,” Samantha Beagle, the victim’s sister said.

Beagle explained that Graham was an acquaintance but Joanie Yount was not interested in a relationship, according to WTVR.

“She doesn’t want a relationship, she just wants people to leave her alone. When it comes to stuff like that, either be decent or don’t bother her at all,” she said.

According to police, Graham found an unlocked door, let himself inside and started a fire in Yount’s bedroom.

Yount and her 3-year-old son were not home at the time.

The home sustained a good deal of damage including smoke and water damage, which destroyed the floors and ceilings in some of the rooms.

Yount and her son were forced to find another place to stay.

Yount, a single mother, had to take in a second job to help replace her son’s Christmas presents after they were destroyed in the fire.

Pretty sure social media doesn’t go around burning down people’s houses, nor is it a tool for arson. No one “made” this guy do what he did, except his own giant sense of entitlement.

I bet the three year old is more mature. This is just tragic, but people will help with his Christmas, though it won’t do much good if they no longer have a home to store is clothes and toys. As for the nut job, he will probably get his just desserts in jail.

How long before MRA’S start sending this woman rape threats and lamenting the state of society, where a mere BROAD (and a single mother!) can just decide not to have sex with a perfectly nice guy, like she’s s person or something, thereby forcing this nice guy to set fire to her house?

One of the reasons I’m thrilled I left Kentucky years ago – they always tried to warn me about city people being dangerous when they’re 20X unstable, untreated and many have the mind and behavior of a 1st grader. As much as I’d love to get into KY politics and clean that garbage up, that state is a lost cause. I can’t work with entitled do-nothing’s.
