[su_right_ad]The Domino’s delivery man,  working in Alabama, was likely set up.

Najeh Masaeid, a father of four, was discovered dead in a hallway at the District at the Summit apartments near the Summit shopping center on Sunday night after he was sent to deliver a pizza to an apartment that turned out to be vacant, reports AL.com.

Police say the man, who was born in Jordan, was killed by a blunt force trauma to the head, but they have not yet revealed what object was used to kill him. His grieving co-workers say the murder was for absolutely no reason, as they didn’t believe Masaeid had more than $20 on him.

“He came here for the American Dream and it was shattered by American greed,” his daughter, Jordan Hosey, told AL.com. “Where’s the justice in that?”[su_csky_ad]

Stories like these can really test my opposition to the death penalty…

i know. but lets assume that they are in their very early 20’s. can you imagine, having to live your life locked in a cage with those much worse than yourself for the rest of your LIFE. (or whatever “life” means in prison) if it were me, i’d want the death penalty and no appeals. that’s a hellava lot easier than being caged. death is not a punishment. its a release to these kinds of people.

The same thing happened a few years ago in New Jersey…an ambush… but they were caught, kids

I’ve read cases, here, Mexico and Central American gangs sometimes stage these types of ambushes to test a wannabe’s cred. They say it gets easier after the first kill… Kids growing into gansters.

true, in areas where the law either has trouble controlling the area, or indeed outright corrupt(like most of mexico sadly), these types of activities are unfortunately a bit common, though stateside most gangs steer away from these kinds of killings since they draw too much attention from authorities and nothing significantly good ever comes of them

While it’s too soon to draw any conclusions in this case, a gang initiation murder is not out of the question. At least based on what we know so far.

America is not immune to corruption, both petty and grand. It is only my opinion, especially with drug law enforcement, that corruption is not uncommon on the local level and goes undetected or ignored. And at the federal level it is institutionalized, (DEA gotta pay to play with the Mexican and Colombian Big Boys). It’s an insidious game that I believe is at the root of so much of the violence and crime in places like Ferguson MO, and in our police departments, jails and prisons.

I’d really like to go to Mexico City one day, it’s a dream of mine. Was there as an exchange student on a government run farm in the early 80’s. A beautiful family, a great culture.

yeah my friend and i went there back in the late 90’s, just sad that it’s gotten exponentially dangerous over there, Mexico City has some relative safety, however there’s still a lot of killings that take place at intersections(basically hits being carried out, but it’s still extremely dangerous for people physically near by the target’s location)

i had wanted to visit the pyramids down there for a long time, but those areas are still as dangerous as ever with a lot of bandits and such

just sickening, if your gonna kill someone, better have a VERY good reason to do so, even most gangs an criminal organizations dislike killings like this since they draw needless attention to their other enterprises, hopefully the lil wastes of life get caught n’ at least get life sentences

    Makes me really sad.
