California Official: It’s Not Racist That I Keep Saying ‘N*gger Babies’
An elected official with the sanitary district’s board of directors in California has been censured for racial slurs and sexist remarks he made to district employees.
[su_center_ad]“Mr. Landis has made sexist comments to our female district staff. And it’s becoming more and more of a pattern of behavior,” board president Tim Becker told KPIX
Landis, a board member for 42 years, remarked “It looks like it’s going to rain cats and dogs and n*gger babies today,” during a construction committee meeting.
“It’s a saying that’s been around for years — I’ve said it many times,” Landis said. “I probably offended a few who take offense to the word.”

Landis, 88, says he’s sorry if anyone is offended when he says “n*gger babies” but he’s not a racist. Even though Landis said the slur again during an interview with WPIX, he says he won’t say it anymore.
If he can’t stop the n-word from pouring out of his mouth, then perhaps he should just resign, but he refuses to step down.

If he doesn’t know it’s racist to say that word, then he’s so clueless he has no business being an elected official. I would lodge a complaint every time this man said any racist or sexist mumblings, if I worked for or with him. Every damn time.

I was laid off a month away from my 61st birthday which also meant that I lost my medical benefits just when I needed them and therefore had to use my unemployment and extended unemployment benefits and afterwards was forced into filing for early social security benefits.
