Father Arrested And Charged For Spanking Son
The Warren County, New York man faces abuse charges for spanking his 6-year-old son.
Police say Jeffrey Lamphear, 39, of Queensbury told officers he was spanking the child as punishment, but may have hit them harder than he thought.
The mother later discovered bruising and welts on the child’s buttocks and went to the emergency room. However, the child was not seriously injured.
Lamphear now faces felony assault charges due to the age difference between him and the child. He’s also been ordered to stay away.[su_center_ad]
