_79955330_79955228[su_right_ad]The BBC reports:

An AirAsia flight travelling from the Indonesian city of Surabaya to Singapore has lost contact with air traffic control, the company has said.

Indonesian media say more than 160 people were on board the Airbus A320-200.

The aircraft, flight number QZ8501, lost contact with air traffic control at 07:24 (00:24 GMT), AirAsia tweeted.

The company said that search and rescue operations were under way for the missing plane.

An official with the transport ministry, Hadi Mustofa, told local media the plane lost contact over the Java Sea, which lies between Surabaya and Singapore.

He said the plane had asked for an unusual route before it lost contact.

AirAsia have given few other details.

While I offer my best hopes for the crew and passengers, I cannot help but think that Obama was somehow involved, possibly in conjunction with the whole Benghazi scandal.

My dealer’s a great guy: fronted me a z of kush, and all I had to do was let him hold on to my “/s” tag.

bit of a stretch, but WTF!

not much time left (just a bit over 2 years) so why not!

might get lucky and stumble on a 3rd grade plot to capture Passenger Airlines and hold them hostage for ice cream or something?

be kinda hard to ‘disprove’ if 3rd grade crayon pictures with ‘Barry,s’ suspected DNA suddenly appeared.

that alone should be worth about 19 $$$gazallion dollar hearings? – and keep the lazy good for nothing deadbeat do nothing Republicans in Congress very, very busy – looking.

Very tragic news, but CNN is buzzing with excitement, with Wolf Blitzer already talking about pings.

    • anothertoothpick December 28th, 2014 at 12:49 pm

the folks that have loved ones on this aircraft are glad that CNN is giving this full coverage.

      • eyelashviper December 28th, 2014 at 12:55 pm

My comment refers to CNN’s rather obsessive and endless 24/7 coverage of the missing Malaysian flight.
Most news organizations cover such tragedies, but CNN was over the top, ignoring other news and covering every possible sensationalist theory as to the disappearance of the Malaysian plane.

        • anothertoothpick December 28th, 2014 at 1:19 pm

Yeah! I am amazed at all sheeple bitching about what CNN is covering or not covering.

Did these people lose their remote controls?

Did they forget how to use their remote controls?

Was someone holding a Glock to their heads making them watch CNN?

Or did someone over at Fox circus tell the sheeple to bitch about CNN?

          • eyelashviper December 28th, 2014 at 1:22 pm

So you have a problem with people calling out a news channel for their poor reporting and other nonsense that is so prevalent on any of the alleged news channels?

      • mea_mark December 28th, 2014 at 1:34 pm

If they get CNN and can understand english or get it translated. Not a very big audience though. I wonder what kind of ads they have for an audience like that?
