[su_right_ad]David Duke is warning the Republican Party that if they punish Steve Scalise for having addressed a white supremacist group, he’ll reveal all the politicians he’s met with.

After Duke confirmed yesterday that he knew Scalise and thought he was a “fine family man,” Duke, famous in Louisiana politics for almost getting elected to high office despite being open about his history of white supremacy, told Fusion that Scalise wasn’t his only buddy (who he met “several times”). In fact, he knows lots of people in the Louisiana congressional delegation, people who reeeeallly don’t want to be publicly associated with him.

[su_thin_right_skyscraper_ad]Fusion reports:

Overall, Duke was rather flabbergasted by the new focus on Scalise. He said he has hosted both Democratic and Republican legislators at everything from conferences to his children’s birthday parties. He said he has met with Democratic legislators at least 50 times in his political life.

And he delivered a warning to both Republicans and Democrats: Treat Scalise fairly, and don’t try to make political hay out of the situation. Or he said he would be inclined to release a list of names of all the politicians — both Republicans and Democrats — with whom he has ties.

“If Scalise is going to be crucified — if Republicans want to throw Steve Scalise to the woods, then a lot of them better be looking over their shoulders,” Duke said.

We need to flush the Klan out of congress…period!

    • Wayout December 30th, 2014 at 7:07 pm

The Klan is long gone from Congress. This happened when Sen. Robert K. Byrd – DEMOCRAT finally died.

      • William December 30th, 2014 at 7:22 pm

“The Klan is long gone from Congress”
        The Senate…
        Not so much

      • jasperjava December 30th, 2014 at 8:11 pm

You ought to be ashamed. You’re more of a racist Klansman than Robert Byrd was, especially in his later years. He endorsed a mixed-race Black man for President of the United States in 2008. You, on the other hand, never miss an opportunity to exhibit your racism.

        • whatthe46 December 30th, 2014 at 8:32 pm

he’s wayout of control. he has absolutely no shame. no shame and racism is ingrained into his DNA.

What he is saying is, “leave my token alone or I will throw all of you under the bus”. Ain’t
    American politicians grand?

    • greenfloyd December 30th, 2014 at 11:41 pm

This is wild, even for Louisiana. Duke must be orgasmic, it’s been awhile since he’s received much attention. If his claim has veracity, and he really has, as he says, “renounced” violent extremism, he should release the list. Now that would be newsworthy, and perhaps informative. Who knows? It’s Louisiana where state and local corruption, along with rampant police violence against the black people is legend.

It is sad these types put down and entire race because they are falling short in their own world.

        • greenfloyd December 31st, 2014 at 6:42 pm

I still consider Duke a Nazi and that means he puts down any race that is not white European of Aryan descent, i.e. “The Master Race.” Although I understand the American Nazis are somewhat more tolerant, allowing some lesser-whites to goose-step along with them. Perhaps this is a form Duke Diversity, Affirmative Action! Oh my.

          • Suzanne McFly December 31st, 2014 at 9:38 pm

Hasn’t the new kkk said they are no longer an aryan community, they now accept all races, as long as they share their ideology.

  11. Wayout December 30th, 2014 at 7:17 pm

Why is it acceptable for Democrats in Congress to associate themselves with an Hispanic activist group that calls itself “The Race”? (La Raza) Or why is it also acceptable that they continue to condone segregation with Congressional groups like the CBC (Congressional Black Caucus) or the CHC (Congressional Hispanic Caucus)? I think it’s time that the Democrats in Congress should start taking the view that we are all Americans, that we are all in this together, and to stop splitting us apart by race or ethnicity.

    • whatthe46 December 30th, 2014 at 7:27 pm

“…to stop splitting us apart by race or ethnicity.” AAAHHHHHHHHHH! you on crack? you actually said that. lol

    • jasperjava December 30th, 2014 at 8:06 pm

It’s bigots like you and your fellow right-wing knuckle-draggers who make groups like La Raza, the CBC, the NAACP necessary. If you think that groups who fight racism and discrimination are no longer necessary, then you’re part of the problem.

    • Berkeley Suncookies December 30th, 2014 at 8:49 pm

Have you heard the saying “it’s your world, the rest of us are just in it”? That why they have those La Raza groups. We all know how white people hate Mexicans. Be honest. Those groups are definitely needed because they are not wanted nor recognized by the “Other Caucus”. They’d better band together because we all know none of those people of color are wanted in this country. Not really. Thoughts anyone?

      • greenfloyd December 30th, 2014 at 10:40 pm

While I’ve never heard that particular saying, I have known a few people who fit the description.
David Duke comes to mind. He insisted on being known as “The Republican candidate” in the 1991 Louisiana governor’s race. He was trounced in a runoff, then later convicted for misappropriating contributions, and cheating on his taxes.
These days, according to his website, he’s busy reading the Talmud. Claiming, there in, to have discovered the real reason why the Jews must be exterminated. Of course he has “renounced” his past, including KKK grand wizard and Nazi-phile. He now insist on being known as Doctor. For Rep. Scalise (R-LA), and other bayou GOPers, it might well be Dr. Death.

        • Berkeley Suncookies December 31st, 2014 at 5:04 am

I haven’t heard anything about David Duke in quite a while. I thought he was dead.

          • whatthe46 December 31st, 2014 at 5:24 am

i said it. because we have Obama, all the racist are coming out of the woodworks. BTW i love my Obama.

          • greenfloyd December 31st, 2014 at 6:13 pm

Wishful thinking 🙂 But, now I guess he’s going to stage something of a come back, play power-broker. So far it’s an empty threat. I hope he can make good on it. I love to watch Republican-Racists ™ eat each other, run for the shadows.

    • Obewon December 30th, 2014 at 9:52 pm

Legacy minorities are each a “legally protected class.” You have no class, nor are your white supremacists protected against ‘special circumstances Hate Crimes.’ Go lynch yourself and watch St. Peter hurridly close his gate, laughing and peeing all over you exclaiming ‘Racist John Tarter! Your “Hispanic activist” Pope came to PA to personally excommunicate you Wayout. But you ran to FL, and hid under your bed. GTFO!’

  12. William December 30th, 2014 at 7:24 pm

Maybe we can start a pool?

    • Suzanne McFly December 30th, 2014 at 7:28 pm

Better yet, lets figure out which repub won’t be on the list, now that’s a short list.

        you clever girl.

  13. Foundryman December 30th, 2014 at 9:09 pm

I hope the democrats grow some balls and not let up to get this racist dirtbag out of the House leadership. It’s a disgrace to have him in there and certainly shows how pathetic the republicans are.

    • whatthe46 December 30th, 2014 at 9:14 pm

      ditto. enough is efknough!
