Military hardware has been flowing to local police departments since the death of Michael Brown in Ferguson, MO.

The federal government shipped nearly 4,000 more assault rifles to local law enforcement agencies in the three months following the Ferguson riots, marking a huge surge in the amount of lethal firearms being doled out to police and sheriff’s offices…

The 3,879 rifles the Pentagon shipped was an astronomical increase over the dozen rifles shipped during the same three-month period in 2013, with several police agencies taking delivery of hundreds of rifles soon after the Ferguson riots.

Armored vehicles, which drew particular scrutiny in the riots in Ferguson and other cities, were less popular in the aftermath. The Pentagon shipped just 11 mine-resistant vehicles, or MRAPs, from Aug. 15 through Nov. 14, compared to nearly 180 in the same time period a year earlier.[su_csky_ad]

satirical but it should make all sane americans just a bit more alert to the creeping in of control.

The henchmen of the plutocracy are arming up. America, is this what you want?

    • crc3 December 31st, 2014 at 1:04 pm

It’s not what we want but the fascists do and they win because they are backed by great power and money…

      • granpa.usthai December 31st, 2014 at 2:06 pm

they win (temporarily) inside their own little box.

        thinking outside the ‘box’.

if PRC Investors realize their American investments are going down due to the amount of resistance, they will be willing to make a business agreement with their loses. All investors do (soured or not). When it comes to ka – ching, they will look at the bottom line. Which is the better deal? – investments in a foreign land where you are apt to lose a bundle at any given moment – or continued profits (howbeit not as much) in a foreign land that is willing to ‘work their way out of debt peacefully’ PLUS you get a labor force to work for your local food supply of their ‘top producers’ in perpetuity?

maybe a little personal with WHITE RACIST
        but mostly common sense business.

It’s not a surprise? How do we deal with every situation that becomes a threat “that we created”? With over whelming force. Just read an article about The Fermi Paradox, our planets development is about 3.46 billion years behind, and it shows.

Insanity; Trying to solve problems, Expecting different results, Using the exact same methods…

All this is for combating our own citizenry.
Welcome to the fascist military state of America.

America is in (or headed into) a police state where civil liberties are threatened on a daily basis. The paranoia that was created by 9/11 (excuse) has grown out of control and being a minority is seen by many in our government (national, state, local) as a potential or out and out threat. We will pass the point of no return (if we haven’t already) and it will eventually explode into widespread panic and violence. The clock is ticking folks…

    • edmeyer_able December 31st, 2014 at 12:20 pm

Then the RWNJ’s better step up their campaign for their race is quickly becoming the minority and all the gerrymandering in the world wont stem their loss of power.

      • granpa.usthai December 31st, 2014 at 1:55 pm

-but the OWNERS of America (currently PRC) might? – It’s their investments that will suffer the greatest loses if they don’t protect them.

right you are – sorry for stealing a bit of your thunder above – hadn’t read you yet.

Not to worry my friend… 🙂

“The clock is ticking folks…” Dramatic interlude; I like it. We’re always passing a point of no return, but thankfully, still, “Freedom is just another word for nothing left to lose.”

The police all across America are at war with the black community

    • fahvel December 31st, 2014 at 12:33 pm

narrow thinking there rj – the police across america are victims of the bush era of fear and see the public, whatever color, as a threat to the order being mandated on communities by a small and powerful few – when it’s time for anyone to react there will be a national militarized police force scattered about all the country -good luck with freedom when the cops don’t work for you at all.

      • granpa.usthai December 31st, 2014 at 1:51 pm

yea! – you’ll never ever see a band of WHITE RACIST TERRORIST THUGS assembled at a SE Nevada kow farm, that’s for sure!

and now, for more fantasy BS of the WHITE RACIST…..

    • crc3 December 31st, 2014 at 1:06 pm

      ALL minorities not just blacks…

  7. R.J. Carter December 31st, 2014 at 12:38 pm

Interesting, in that the only surplus military equipment supplied to Ferguson were file cabinets, some furniture, and a non-armed personnel carrier.

    • Mike Butkus Jr. December 31st, 2014 at 1:39 pm

You are right! People getting all worked up about nothing. Everyone go back to sleep, nothing to see here.

  8. granpa.usthai December 31st, 2014 at 1:48 pm

well it’s a good thing none of the surplus is winding up in the hands of the WHITE RACIST TERRORIST, as I’m sure our very AmeriKLan Congress has placed many many safeguards like – actual inventory on hand requirements to make sure none of it winds up as stolen properties being transported across state lines?

  9. FrankenPC . December 31st, 2014 at 1:55 pm

How to tell racism is alive and well in America.

    The sentence:
‘Astronomical’ Surge In Militarization Of Police Since Ferguson
    Should read:
‘Astronomical’ Surge In Militarization Of Police Since Bundy Ranch and the inability to control military arms sales to the public.

    • granpa.usthai December 31st, 2014 at 2:19 pm

selling weapons to the ‘public’ – eg: WHITE RACIST in the US Military sending surplus military weapons to WHITE RACIST hiding behind LE badges to distribute to WHITE RACIST TERRORIST THUGS in the streets is not a ‘legal transaction. (neither is transporting them across state lines for the purpose of overthrowing the US Government or the vast array of local, state and federal crimes that were openly committed at Bundy’s Kow farm.
That being said, we the people have the written law – and a whole WORLD of resistance support – while the WHITE RACIST have a limited supply of ‘Aryan Warriors’ and arms. WE the people may face considerable losses at the onset, but -as in the last time – the WHITE RACIST will go down in utter defeat, plus this time there will be a CHINESE Military Tribunal – and a willing populace to send PRC a perpetual work force – their property, their business what they do with it.

  10. greenfloyd December 31st, 2014 at 8:23 pm

From the Washington Times link above…

Faced with those numbers, the president’s review called for changes.
The Pentagon agreed to notify the Justice Department when a local law enforcement agency applies for the program, as well as when an agency has been suspended or kicked out of the program. Over the last five years, 11 agencies had been kicked out, including five in Arizona that were banned under the recommendation of the state’s own coordinator, and four that were terminated because they lost weapons.

    Strange Brew…

Ten-thirtythree should equal zero! Get the cops back to Justice. We should not ignore one of the sure signs of an authoritarian state: military control of civilian law enforcement. We can not let that happen here and immediate steps need to be taken to restore balance and ensure civilian oversight prevails.
